00:00This is Muzdalifah. Pilgrims do not perform the evening prayer at the usual evening prayer time.
00:05Why? Because our Prophet did so during the Farewell Pilgrimage.
00:08And in all Hajj practices
00:11خُذُوا عَنِّ مَنَاسِكَكُمْ
00:13Because He commanded us to perform the Hajj and other acts of worship as you have seen me do.
00:16As you can see here, our brothers and sisters
00:18The evening and night prayers remain combined after the time for the night prayer has arrived.
00:24So, first the obligatory part of the evening prayer (Maghrib) is performed when the time for the night prayer (Isha) arrives.
00:28After that, the obligatory prayer of Isha is performed without first performing the sunnah prayer of Isha and without performing the last sunnah prayer of Maghrib.
00:33We call this cat Cem the tabby.
