00:11And I can't wait to be on stage talking to you in person.
00:18As you know, I've always been an open book.
00:23And I wasn't ready to say anything before.
00:30But I'm ready now.
00:37I've been dealing with problems with my health for a long time.
00:43And it's been really difficult for me to face these challenges
00:47and to talk about everything that I've been going through.
01:00Recently, I've been diagnosed with a very rare neurological disorder
01:06called the Stiff Person Syndrome,
01:09which affects something like one in a million people.
01:18While we're still learning about this rare condition,
01:25we now know this is what's been causing
01:29all of the spasms that I've been having.
01:39Unfortunately, these spasms affect
01:43every aspect of my daily life,
01:48sometimes causing difficulties when I walk
01:54and not allowing me to use my vocal cords
01:59to sing the way I'm used to.
02:05It hurts me to tell you today
02:10that this means
02:14I won't be ready
02:16to restart my tour in Europe in February.
02:20For me to reach you again,
02:23I have no choice
02:26but to concentrate on my health at this moment.
02:30And I have hope
02:34that I'm on the road to recovery.
02:39This is my focus.
02:42And I'm doing everything
02:44that I can to recuperate.
02:47And I'll see you again next time.
