00:07Group E of the FIFA World Cup is made up of Germany, Curaçao, Ivory Coast and Ecuador.
00:13Tonight the focus is on the yellow, blue and red from South America.
00:17Ecuador are currently ranked 23rd in the world and have made it to 5 World Cups including
00:21this one.
00:22Their previous appearances were in 2002, 2006, 2014 and 2022.
00:28Their best performance is the Round of 16 which was achieved once in 2006 in Germany.
00:35The Ecuadorians are not outright favourites to win their group but are seen as second
00:40favourites instead.
00:41Players to look out for include Moises Caicedo and Willian Pacho just to name a couple.
00:47Group F comprises Netherlands, Japan, Sweden and Tunisia.
00:51The team from Africa is in the spotlight tonight.
00:55Tunisia are currently ranked 44th in the world and have qualified for the World Cup on seven
00:59occasions including this one.
01:02Known as the Eagles of Carthage, the Tunisians have never gone past the group stage at the
01:06FIFA tournament.
01:08But are they favourites this time around in their group?
01:11The answer is no since Netherlands and Japan are the two big names expected to come out
01:15on top in that group.
