A deadly explosion at a Hanwha Aerospace facility in Daejeon, South Korea, has left at least five people dead and two others injured. Emergency crews rushed to the scene after a powerful blast tore through the aerospace and defense manufacturing site, causing major damage and triggering a large-scale rescue operation.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the explosion, with early reports suggesting it may have involved rocket propellant materials used in aerospace production. Firefighters deployed dozens of vehicles and over 100 personnel to contain the blaze and search for victims.

Hanwha Aerospace is one of South Korea's leading defense and aerospace companies, making this one of the country's most significant industrial accidents in recent years.
