00:00In Cricket, there is no comparison to Sachsen Tadolker's batting and Glenn McGrath's falling.
00:07So the contest between these two becomes the biggest contest and the biggest rivalry in cricket.
00:15The Tadolker vs McGrath battle produced memorable moments and became the one that defined anti-Australia matches of the 1990s
00:25and early 2000.
00:27This rivalry began in Sharjah in 1994 when Tadolker was playing McGrath fearlessly.
00:35He wasn't fear of anything because he had already faced the sheer pace of Vassim and Vakar.
00:43McGrath succeeded in dismissing Tadolker in their first meeting but two years later, Tadolker hit his rival for some big
00:51shots
00:52including a famous 6-over mid-wicket during his 90s against Australia in the 1996 World Cup.
01:06In a must-won game at the 1999 World Cup, there was much to expect from Sachsen Tadolker.
01:12But again, McGrath was succeeded in dismissing Tadolker for Duck which was seen as the final blow to India's campaign.
01:20So, Tadolker out, India.
01:23Things really heated up on India's 1999-2000 tour of Australia.
01:29In Adelaide Empire, Daryl Hare infamously gave Tadolker out IPW.
01:34Then he ground the shoulder while trying to duck under a McGrath sponsor that didn't get up.
01:39In Melbourne, Tadolker played cautiously McGrath while attacking other ballers.
01:44And he succeeded in making 116-52 in both innings.
01:49But in Sydney, both attacked and in an epic over, Tadolker took consecutive good boundaries from McGrath.
02:09And the baller went fuller, drove him down the ground.
02:15McGrath succeeded in dismissing Tadolker in the final ball of that over.
02:20Another memorable contest, which I would say among all the contests, this was the most memorable,
02:31which happened in Nairobi in 2000, ICC knockout, which later called as ICC champion trophy.
02:38Tadolker was in a belligerent mood and fast over when Tadolker was slidged by McGrath.
02:44Tadolker responded to some tedious language, but this time his bat was responding greatly,
02:51getting 33 runs of 30 balls from McGrath, including a 6th down the ground and 1-1 mid-ricket.
02:58Most surprisingly, Tadolker apparently slidged his opponent.
03:01He admitted as much in a later interview, saying he had done it to put McGrath off his game.
03:07That was one of the games I remember.
03:10Tadolker didn't say a word at all.
03:11He was the one slidging man, McGrath told ESPN CricketInfo in an interview in 2005.
03:18McGrath had the big moments in the second half of the rivalry during Tadolker in Tadolker
03:22in Mumbai in 2001 and NACO 2004, and the first over of India's cheers in 2003 World Cup Final.
03:29In 2003 World Cup Final, McGrath succeeded in dismissing Tadolker in his very first over.
03:35He got Tadolker 6 times in Tests and 7 times in ODI.
03:40So overall, McGrath dismissed Tadolker 13 times across all corners of cricket.
03:45This would say, I would say, the best rivalry in cricket ever have been watched or witnessed.
03:51Thanks for watching.
03:53Hope you have liked this video.
03:55I hope.
