00:14It is an outer decontamination bag, so it was used to protect those samples from potential contamination from us on
00:23planet Earth.
00:31She sent it to NASA. Their lunar sample curator tested it and found that it was not only lunar material,
00:37but in fact dust from the Apollo 11 mission.
00:40And then further research showed that the bag was in fact the bag that Neil Armstrong used to bring back
00:46that very first sample on Apollo 11.
