My Dear Doctor, Please Be Gentle with Me
Transcript
00:00:14Sir, your wine.
00:00:29Take off your clothes.
00:00:30Get on the bed.
00:00:33Excuse me, sir?
00:00:37Isn't that what you came for?
00:00:38You're not the first to spike my drink and sneak into my room in a waiter's disguise.
00:00:45Sir.
00:00:46Sir, I'm still a virgin.
00:00:49Can you take it slow?
00:00:58Take it slow?
00:01:00Sure.
00:01:01We'll stretch this out all night if you like.
00:01:11Now, get and show him a good time.
00:01:13No, I can't.
00:01:14I've never even kissed a man.
00:01:16Why would the medical prodigy who runs half the hospitals in the country, the hottest billionaire in town who's taken
00:01:23a vow of celibacy ever want me?
00:01:26He doesn't want you.
00:01:35He doesn't want you.
00:01:43Why don't you do it yourself?
00:01:45Because tons of women have tried to get into his bed and failed.
00:01:50A prude like him would probably only want someone as pure as himself.
00:01:55A virgin, perhaps, like you.
00:02:00Come on, cashing in your V-card on Julian Bale would be a once-in-a-lifetime deal.
00:02:03No.
00:02:04Just get in there and get him for me.
00:02:05I can't.
00:02:06You know I can't.
00:02:06Eva?
00:02:07Once he marries me, I might toss you a bone.
00:02:12She's so beautiful.
00:02:15I won't be able to hold back if she stays any longer.
00:02:32What are you waiting for?
00:02:42I'm sorry, sir.
00:02:44I changed my mind.
00:02:54Too late.
00:03:00Do you know what happens to bad girls who slip into strangers' rooms for casual flings?
00:03:05As a doctor, I must warn you.
00:03:08Excessive sexual behavior can lead to unintended pregnancy.
00:03:13Or worse.
00:03:14Sorry, sir.
00:03:15I apologize.
00:03:22For what?
00:03:24Say it.
00:03:25For being.
00:03:25A very bad girl.
00:03:27Bad girl.
00:03:31Good.
00:03:32Now leave.
00:03:41Thank God she's so easy to break.
00:03:45Hope she's learned her lesson.
00:03:56Go back in and get him.
00:03:58No surgery for your dad otherwise.
00:03:59Let's see how long he can survive without it.
00:04:02And leave the door open this time.
00:04:04We'll swap places later so he'll think it was me in his bed.
00:04:10Okay.
00:04:11Then he'll have to marry me.
00:04:14Okay.
00:04:20Then he'll have to marry me.
00:04:21Please, sir.
00:04:22Let me stay.
00:04:29You have ten seconds to turn me on.
00:04:38Be careful because this time I won't stop.
00:04:43Can we turn off the lights?
00:04:47No, I want to see your face.
00:04:53Look at me.
00:04:55Leave the door open this time.
00:04:56We'll swap places later.
00:05:06You're not going anywhere tonight.
00:05:09Sophia, you want...
00:05:12How dare you lock the door?
00:05:14Do you think you keep going to yourself?
00:05:18Oh.
00:05:20Oh, my God.
00:05:51Oh, God.
00:05:52My stepsister spiked his drink and forced me to sneak in to take his virginity.
00:05:57If he wakes up and finds me here, I'm dead.
00:06:15Running off already?
00:06:16After all that work getting into my bed?
00:06:19Don't you expect me to make you my wife?
00:06:21Hand you my fortune, my status, and the bail name?
00:06:24Wasn't that the plan?
00:06:30I didn't plan anything.
00:06:32I just...
00:06:33Get in there, and the 200 grand for your dad's surgery is yours.
00:06:41I just...
00:06:42I really need 200 grand.
00:06:44I'll pay you back, I swear.
00:06:46Oh, no.
00:06:47Is he gonna call the police?
00:06:49Type in your bank account number.
00:06:57The transfer's done.
00:06:58Now get lost.
00:07:02Oh, no.
00:07:03Eva must have taken my phone.
00:07:05Hopefully, Dad can get his surgery when she gets the money.
00:07:17Good morning, boss.
00:07:19Good morning, boss.
00:07:30Forget it, girl.
00:07:31You don't stand a chance.
00:07:33He's the Julian Bale.
00:07:34Top medical graduate from the University of Pennsylvania.
00:07:37The golden bachelor who runs half the hospitals in the States.
00:07:40Countless celebs, heiresses, and socialites have tried to get into his bed.
00:07:44None had succeeded.
00:07:47Director, we have a complex case here.
00:07:50A patient with multiple abortions has developed uterine fibroids.
00:07:52Please take a look.
00:07:53Prep her for surgery immediately.
00:07:56These selfish scumbags who think, with nothing but what's between their golves, utterly indifferent
00:08:01to a woman's health.
00:08:02Honestly, they deserve a lifetime sentence of enforced celibacy.
00:08:08Speaking of celibacy, rumor has it that someone spiked your drink again last night.
00:08:13Who's the culprit?
00:08:15Did she succeed?
00:08:30I won't let her get away with it.
00:08:36Looks like she already did.
00:08:38Hey, don't tell me you caught feelings.
00:08:40Guys like you, once you let a woman into your bed, you let her into your heart.
00:08:43For as long as you both shall live.
00:08:46I've got an urgent meeting.
00:08:47Boss, do me a favor and cover for me.
00:08:53But I'm not a doctor.
00:08:54My medical license has expired.
00:08:56You were the star student at med school.
00:08:58You've got this.
00:09:13What brings you here?
00:09:15A taxi.
00:09:17I mean, my chest hurts.
00:09:20Get on the bed.
00:09:25Oh, that bed.
00:09:31What?
00:09:32Afraid I'll bite?
00:09:33Should I let you do this yourself?
00:09:35Well, I'm actually a med student, so...
00:09:38Yeah.
00:09:41Fine, then.
00:09:42Now tell me exactly how it feels.
00:09:45Do you feel any lumps?
00:09:46No, nothing.
00:09:47Just sore and swollen.
00:09:49Like a soaked sponge with a tingling, pulsating sensation.
00:09:56Uh, enough.
00:09:58This isn't chest pain.
00:09:59It's breast hypergation.
00:10:00Likely due to your first sexual experience,
00:10:02when estrogen and progesterone levels spike dramatically,
00:10:05stimulating the mammary glands, especially if it was too vigorous.
00:10:08Too vigorous?
00:10:10Yeah.
00:10:11Thanks to you.
00:10:14Here's your prescription.
00:10:15Apply it to the affected area once a day before bed.
00:10:18No sexual activities for a week.
00:10:22Repeat after me.
00:10:23Apply it to the affected area once a day before bed.
00:10:27No sexual activities for a week.
00:10:32Excuse me.
00:10:33Excuse me.
00:10:42Transfer another $100,000 to Sophia Clark.
00:10:45Tell her to get herself something appropriate to wear.
00:10:47And tell her to quit that reckless crap she pulled last night.
00:10:52Or she'll pay for it.
00:10:56Julian gave Sophia $300,000 for one night?
00:11:00Good thing I took her phone last night.
00:11:03Otherwise, that little slut might have actually gotten her claws into Julian.
00:11:09Hello?
00:11:10I'd like to withdraw all the money.
00:11:11Immediately.
00:11:12Yes, that's right.
00:11:13I am Sophia Clark, and I'm using the money to buy a diamond ring for my wedding.
00:11:20Who do you think you are?
00:11:22Trying to snag Julian from my daughter?
00:11:24Is that how you repay us after we took you in for your dead mother and barely alive father?
00:11:34I only slept with him because she made me do it.
00:11:38Oh, yeah?
00:11:39I also told you to leave the door open so we could switch, but you went and locked it, you
00:11:43shameless slut.
00:11:47No!
00:11:49No.
00:11:50It wasn't me.
00:11:51He locked it.
00:11:53He locked it.
00:11:58Oh, so you think he's actually hooked on you?
00:12:00Wake up!
00:12:02Julian Val goes for respectable, refined women like me.
00:12:06Not desperate tramps who throw themselves at him.
00:12:09And thanks to you, he finally sees my worth and decided to marry me!
00:12:15You'd never have guessed that the money Julian sent for you ended up paying for my ring.
00:12:21So he proposed to her?
00:12:23Right after sleeping with me?
00:12:26That explains why he was so cold just now.
00:12:30Can you give me the money for my dad's surgery then?
00:12:34Forget about it.
00:12:37Thanks to your backstabbing, ungrateful behavior, we've decided we're not covering your dad's surgery bills.
00:12:44Unless you join us for dinner with Mr. Miles Shaw tonight.
00:12:50Miles Shaw?
00:12:51The healthcare insurance CEO who denied my dad's medical bills?
00:12:59Miles, Miles runs the largest healthcare insurance company in the country.
00:13:04He might cover your father's surgery bill if he finds you worthy.
00:13:12Let go of me!
00:13:14Get out!
00:13:15Please!
00:13:18Let go!
00:13:20Let go of me!
00:13:24Let go of me!
00:13:26Wait!
00:13:32Is it Julian coming for me?
00:13:41Miles Shaw?
00:13:43What's wrong with me?
00:13:45Why the hell can't I get Julian Bale out of my head?
00:13:50Mr. Shaw, what brings you here?
00:13:55Ladies, let me handle her.
00:14:05Come on, spill the tea.
00:14:06How did you finally break the streak?
00:14:09After all these years of celibacy?
00:14:11Who's the miracle worker that stole the infamous Julian Bale's B-card?
00:14:18Quit the dramatics.
00:14:20She's just...
00:14:25Isn't that Miles Shaw?
00:14:27The crook who's denied medical bills is for half my patients?
00:14:31What's Sophia doing with him?
00:14:45What do you do?
00:14:48Feisty, huh?
00:14:48You should be grateful.
00:14:50I'm even wasting my breath on you.
00:14:52Play nice.
00:14:52And maybe, just maybe, I'll think about covering your daddy's medical...
00:14:57Hey, Julian, what's wrong?
00:15:06I have to put up with him to save my dad.
00:15:09Besides, he wouldn't dare try anything in public.
00:15:12So she really hooked up with that scumbag?
00:15:15Running straight from my bed to his for money?
00:15:21Oh, something's come up.
00:15:22Excuse me.
00:15:29I'm sorry.
00:15:31Mr. Shaw, can you cover my father's medical bills first?
00:15:34You've denied them three times already.
00:15:37That depends on how good you make me feel.
00:15:40Because that's all a pathetic low life like you is good for.
00:15:45Let's see how low you're willing to go to save the wasted, worthless life of your old man.
00:15:55I gotta go.
00:16:00Come on.
00:16:01At least have a toast before you go.
00:16:03Just one glass to show Mr. Shaw your gratitude.
00:16:07And I promise we'll take care of your father's surgery bill.
00:16:11Let's see you try to seduce Julian again after this.
00:16:14Once Miles has his way with you,
00:16:17no way Julian's touching damaged goods like you.
00:16:29Well, well.
00:16:31Looks like someone handle her drink.
00:16:35Miles, take care of her, will you?
00:16:45I sure will take good care of her.
00:17:04Get out.
00:17:11You've got a death wish, huh?
00:17:12Step aside before I make you regret it.
00:17:19Let's see you try.
00:17:23Wait.
00:17:24Isn't that Julian Bane?
00:17:30Easy, bro.
00:17:31It's not what it...
00:17:37It's alright, I got you.
00:17:39Hey, she's nothing but a worn out toy.
00:17:42Everyone's had a turn, so why not me?
00:17:44You're really going to get your hands dirty over that skank?
00:17:52Touch my girl again.
00:17:53I'll neuter you and feed your balls to my dog.
00:17:56Listen to me!
00:17:56Julian!
00:17:59Teach them a lesson.
00:18:14Hey.
00:18:16You're so hot when you rescue me.
00:18:19Are you my superman?
00:18:21If I'm superman, then you must be my kryptonite.
00:18:30This card has no limit.
00:18:33Use it for whatever you need,
00:18:35but stay away from scum like Miles.
00:18:38Next time, I won't be there to save you.
00:18:41What are you paying me for?
00:18:43No one gives me money for free.
00:18:49You want me, don't you?
00:18:51Then use me, doctor.
00:18:53Make your money's worth.
00:19:04You've been drugged.
00:19:06Stay still.
00:19:07Stay still.
00:19:12Doctor, your hand's so cool.
00:19:15It feels so nice.
00:19:17Stop playing with fire.
00:19:34Keep your hands to yourself,
00:19:35or I'll kiss every inch of your skin
00:19:37until you scream my name and beg for more.
00:19:50But only when you're sober.
00:19:54Don't leave me.
00:19:56I won't.
00:19:58Now sleep.
00:19:59I'm not going anywhere.
00:20:13He saved me last night?
00:20:15Maybe I should thank him.
00:20:19Fire the hospital director for overcharging patients.
00:20:22He's out.
00:20:23And so is anyone who prioritized his profits over his patients.
00:20:29Well, better not.
00:20:31Gotta go before I make a fool of myself.
00:20:44Hey, Sophia.
00:20:45It's been ages.
00:20:46We haven't seen each other since we graduated from medical school.
00:20:49What's the hurry?
00:20:51Oh, I'm just on my way to an interview.
00:20:54You're looking for a job?
00:20:56What?
00:20:56Hey, my cousin's hospital is and happens to be hiring an intern.
00:20:59Interested?
00:21:01Yes, absolutely.
00:21:02Thank you, Oscar.
00:21:10So, this is the hospital Oscar mentioned, but isn't this where Julian works?
00:21:21Hi, cousin.
00:21:23Over here.
00:21:33Looking for a job here?
00:21:36I didn't know you were a doctor.
00:21:38Wait.
00:21:39You two know each other?
00:21:41Yes, we've been in touch.
00:21:43In a closer sort of way.
00:21:46What he means is, uh, he treated me the other day, uh, as a doctor.
00:21:51Doctor?
00:21:54Whatever.
00:21:55No favoritism in my hospital.
00:21:57If she wants a job here, I'll test her skills myself.
00:22:11I'm sorry.
00:22:12I...
00:22:13I'll start looking for another job.
00:22:19Running off again?
00:22:21Just like this morning?
00:22:23Not even a goodbye?
00:22:25Not even a thank you?
00:22:28Well, thank you for saving me last night.
00:22:31Are you, um, are you okay?
00:22:35I hope you didn't get hurt.
00:22:37Can't say for sure.
00:22:38Will you examine me?
00:22:46What?
00:22:47I-I don't think that would be necessary.
00:22:50That's not a question.
00:22:53Consider it...
00:22:55your entrance exam.
00:23:08Your hands are shaking.
00:23:10Is this how they teach you to examine patients in med school?
00:23:14Doctor, your heart rate too high.
00:23:18It could be dangerous.
00:23:20I need a blood test to rule out certain possibilities.
00:23:23That's much better.
00:23:24Go on.
00:23:39Your physical condition is exceptional, way above average.
00:23:46However, your hormone levels are somewhat elevated, likely due to your first sexual experience.
00:23:56How did it happen?
00:23:58Care to explain?
00:24:00This imbalance typically occurs when an individual exceptionally high sexual votality imposes rembalobletes
00:24:05and imposes prolonged and excessive restraint on certain activities.
00:24:12And how do you propose to fix this imbalance?
00:24:23I give up.
00:24:25I'm out.
00:24:27Oh, so that's how you want to play it?
00:24:30Fine.
00:24:40You?
00:24:41What were you doing in Julian's office?
00:24:45Nothing.
00:24:47I was just looking for a job and ran into Julian.
00:24:52Don't think for a second that sleeping with Julian means anything.
00:24:55Stay away from Julian or your father's as good as gone.
00:24:59I never meant to run into Julian again.
00:25:02Okay?
00:25:02I swear.
00:25:08Then how do you explain this?
00:25:10Why would Julian give you his Topri VIP card if you were never planning to see him again?
00:25:14Give it back.
00:25:15He has no right to give you this.
00:25:17Just remember that you're nothing to him but a paid toy.
00:25:20A man like him would only marry someone like me, someone who can elevate his career, not some dead weight
00:25:27like you stuck with a half-dead father.
00:25:29Take it back.
00:25:30Don't you dare talk about my father like that.
00:25:35Who do you think you are talking to me like that?
00:25:38What's going on here?
00:25:42What's going on here?
00:25:44Oh, Julian, we were just having a little sisterly chat.
00:25:48Is that true?
00:25:50I...
00:25:50Julian, I need to talk to you.
00:25:54It's important.
00:25:56I'll take good care of him.
00:25:59Stay here.
00:26:00Don't move.
00:26:04Julian, I know you have concerns about our arranged marriage.
00:26:08Look, I'm chill.
00:26:10I won't even mind if you keep some side peace around.
00:26:13You know, I can help you sort out those disputes with Miles over the medical insurance so you won't have
00:26:18to risk lawsuits.
00:26:19What's she talking about?
00:26:21Is Julian really going to marry Eva?
00:26:24Yeah, I know.
00:26:25Thanks for the offer.
00:26:26It's true, then.
00:26:28He's marrying Eva.
00:26:29I'm nothing but a toy to him.
00:26:32But I couldn't care less about you or your shady business with Miles.
00:26:36As for the side piece, there's only going to be one woman for Julian Bale.
00:26:41No side pieces.
00:26:42Not now, not ever.
00:27:11Hello?
00:27:13What?
00:27:14My dad's surgery bill hasn't been paid yet?
00:27:18Please.
00:27:22I'll get the money as soon as I can.
00:27:24Just don't stop his treatment.
00:27:36My stepmother didn't pay for dad's surgery bill?
00:27:40I must call her.
00:27:54I think it's better we keep our distance, Mr. Bale.
00:28:02Oscar?
00:28:06What happened?
00:28:07Why are you crying?
00:28:08Keep your distance from who?
00:28:10Oh, I mean, Mr. Bailey, my patient.
00:28:14And I'm not crying.
00:28:15I just have a cold today.
00:28:17So, I'd better keep my distance from my patients.
00:28:21Sophia, are you sure you're okay?
00:28:23Talk to me.
00:28:24Whatever it is, I'll help you.
00:28:25It's my dad.
00:28:27He's got a heart condition and I need money for his surgery.
00:28:31Could you lend me some?
00:28:33I'll pay you back as soon as I can.
00:28:38Don't worry about paying me back.
00:28:39I'm glad I can help.
00:28:46Excuse me, I need to talk to her.
00:28:52Come with me.
00:29:06Didn't I just give you my card?
00:29:08Didn't you take money out?
00:29:11So, why did you still go to him for cash?
00:29:17I can't take your money anymore.
00:29:19You know why.
00:29:20And I'll pay back every cent I owe you.
00:29:22So, just let me go.
00:29:30No matter how much you need,
00:29:32you come to me.
00:29:43Since when did you become a philanthropist?
00:29:46No one gives me money for free, you know.
00:30:08You look surprised.
00:30:12I'm no philanthropist.
00:30:14I'm going to make you mine.
00:30:15Entirely.
00:30:16This is an heirloom of the Bale family.
00:30:19Take this.
00:30:20And wear it,
00:30:21so the whole damn world knows who you belong to.
00:30:24This is a 545 carat diamond with a D color grade.
00:30:28Diamonds are known to cure nervousness and anxiety,
00:30:31bringing calm and peace.
00:30:33Hopefully, it'll help treat your recurring tendency to run away from me.
00:30:36So he's paying me to be his mistress after proposing to Eva?
00:30:40What do you take me for?
00:30:41A toy you can just buy?
00:30:43Or a little side piece that you keep?
00:30:46You might as well put me in chains and show me off like a new pet.
00:30:50I don't want your money, Julian, or your gifts.
00:30:53Then whose money do you want?
00:30:55Oscars?
00:30:58Keep away from him.
00:30:59That's a warning.
00:31:03Maybe I should keep away from you instead.
00:31:05Now stay out of my life.
00:31:14Look me in the eyes and say that again.
00:31:16Do you really mean it?
00:31:23Yes, I do.
00:31:26I...
00:31:27Then tell me to stop.
00:31:31Tell me you don't want me.
00:31:33That you slept with me just for money.
00:31:34And I swear I'll stay out of your life.
00:31:37Forever.
00:31:47You lied.
00:31:49Now, how do I punish you?
00:31:58Steemother?
00:32:00Okay, I'll be right back.
00:32:07Check Sofia's background.
00:32:09Find out why she's so desperate for money.
00:32:13Okay.
00:32:23Oh, Sofia.
00:32:27Take this and get the hell out of here.
00:32:30You can't stay in our house anymore.
00:32:33Fine, I'll leave.
00:32:34But give me my dad's surgery money first.
00:32:37You promised to pay if I have a drink with Miles.
00:32:42Drop the act, you slut.
00:32:43You knew exactly what Miles wanted, but you strung him along while shamelessly throwing yourself at Julian.
00:32:54No, I didn't!
00:32:56Stop pretending.
00:32:58Why else would he bolt like that in the middle of our conversation just now?
00:33:03You were there to lure in, weren't you?
00:33:06If your fiancé doesn't want to talk to you, that's your problem, not mine.
00:33:12Of course it's your fault!
00:33:13He's supposed to marry me, and you barged in like some shameless third wheel.
00:33:18And now you've got the nerve to ask for money?
00:33:21Keep dreaming.
00:33:27Serves you right.
00:33:30Now take your junk and get lost.
00:33:47Hello, Miles.
00:33:48That little floozy is on her own now.
00:33:51This is your chance.
00:33:52She can't possibly get away this time.
00:33:58Sir, I found the information you asked for.
00:34:03Her stepmother and stepsister are abusing her?
00:34:06Refusing to pay for her father's surgery?
00:34:21Sophia!
00:34:24Where are you?
00:34:38Did she just scream?
00:34:40Locate Sophia now and get my car ready.
00:34:46Look what you've done, you connizing little bitch.
00:34:50Julian beat the hell out of me.
00:34:52All because of you.
00:34:53You can't get away with this.
00:34:56I'll make you pay.
00:34:59Right here.
00:35:00Right now.
00:35:01Let go of me!
00:35:04Drop the innocent act, sweetie.
00:35:06We both know you're here for the cash.
00:35:09Show me a good time,
00:35:10and maybe I'll spare a little change for your old man's worthless, sorry life.
00:35:15No!
00:35:16Somebody help!
00:35:17Julian!
00:35:18No!
00:35:19No!
00:35:20No!
00:35:21No!
00:35:21No!
00:35:21No!
00:35:22No!
00:35:22No!
00:35:23No!
00:35:24No!
00:35:24No!
00:35:25Who the hell did you just call?
00:35:27Julian Bale?
00:35:28Hate to break it to you, but he ain't coming,
00:35:30no matter how loud you scream his name.
00:35:33A prude like him wouldn't give a damn about a used up little reject like you.
00:35:37No one does.
00:35:38You should be thankful that I'm even interested in you.
00:35:41No!
00:35:42No!
00:35:43No!
00:35:44No!
00:35:45No!
00:35:46No!
00:35:47No!
00:35:47No!
00:35:49No!
00:35:51No!
00:35:52No!
00:35:54No!
00:35:54No!
00:35:55No!
00:35:56No!
00:35:56No!
00:36:00No!
00:36:02Get your hands off her!
00:36:08Get out here!
00:36:09Oh, my God.
00:36:54This is a little change I'm willing to spare for your worthless, sorry life.
00:37:00Julian! It's a misunderstanding. I didn't touch your girl, I swear.
00:37:04You know what happens to people who cross me twice.
00:37:11Please, spare my life. I don't want to die.
00:37:13Relax, you're not going to die just yet.
00:37:15Not if you get down on all fours and you beg my girl for your life.
00:37:23Please, please. I'm sorry.
00:37:29Sorry isn't good enough.
00:37:31You will be punished is for laying your dirty hand on my girl.
00:37:37This is for denying my patients health insurance bills.
00:37:43Please, please stop. I've learned my lesson.
00:37:47And this is for playing God with people's lives.
00:37:50Hope this is enough to cover your medical bills.
00:37:58Now drag him away and fix him.
00:38:00Make sure he'll never lay a hand on another woman again.
00:38:14Why do you always get in trouble?
00:38:17Why do you always come to the rescue?
00:38:21Because a bad girl like you is bound to get herself in danger.
00:38:27Unless I'm here to keep you in line.
00:38:41No, I can't take her like this.
00:38:44Not when she's falling apart.
00:38:50Come on, I'll take you home.
00:39:00Don't leave me tonight.
00:39:04What?
00:39:05You want to spend the entire night with me here?
00:39:07In the car?
00:39:08No, let's go somewhere else.
00:39:16Since when do you get to order me around?
00:39:23Look at me.
00:39:24Beg me properly.
00:39:33Take me home, you.
00:39:36Please.
00:40:02Good night.
00:40:04Good night.
00:40:04Good night.
00:40:05Good night.
00:40:07Wait.
00:40:08Did you forget to follow the doctor's orders?
00:40:10Didn't I tell you to apply the ointment every night before bed?
00:40:13Oh, I forgot.
00:40:14I'm sorry, doctor.
00:40:22Sorry isn't good enough.
00:40:24You must be punished.
00:40:32Since you can't be trusted to follow your doctor's orders, you're going to apply it right
00:40:36here.
00:40:37In front of me.
00:40:44I'm sorry.
00:40:45Now, slip those fingers under the fabric and do it.
00:40:48What?
00:40:49Want me to do it for you?
00:40:57Now, press firmly.
00:41:00Does it hurt?
00:41:02No.
00:41:05Say it.
00:41:07No abnormalities or pain detected in my bruise doctor.
00:41:11Good girl.
00:41:13Hormonal imbalances can lead to serious issues.
00:41:16Don't ignore it.
00:41:17So, how do you propose to fix this imbalance, doctor?
00:41:20I'm giving you two options.
00:41:23One, strict, total celibacy for the rest of your life.
00:41:28Or two, bold, excessive love.
00:41:32Right here, right now.
00:41:37But, I can't have sex for a week.
00:41:40You said so yourself.
00:41:41It's been almost a week now.
00:41:43I'm the doctor.
00:41:44It's my call.
00:41:46So, which remedy would you take?
00:41:48I think I'd just take the shortcut then.
00:41:52You sure about this?
00:41:57You must understand that if I take you now,
00:42:00I'll break you until there's nothing left of you but my name on your lips.
00:42:03Is that what you want?
00:42:05Say it.
00:42:10Yes, I want you, doctor.
00:42:13I want you to fef me hard and long.
00:42:17Good.
00:42:18But we must get disaffected first.
00:42:27You're beautiful.
00:42:37You made this for me?
00:42:38I don't normally cook for my patients.
00:42:40But I've decided to reward you for taking your treatment so well last night.
00:42:51My tongue.
00:42:52I, I, uh, bit my tongue last night by accident.
00:42:55If last night's treatment was too much for you,
00:42:57you should have begged me to stop.
00:42:59Biting your tongue can lead to nasty infections.
00:43:01Now, be a good girl and open your mouth.
00:43:04Let's see what I can do about it.
00:43:19You stole him away again last night, didn't you?
00:43:22You slut.
00:43:33Who is it?
00:43:34Is it Oscar?
00:43:35If I catch you with him again,
00:43:37you can forget about your father's surgery.
00:43:39Got it?
00:43:42Hang up the phone.
00:43:44I wasn't with Julian, I swear.
00:43:46Liar.
00:43:46You know what happens to little liars?
00:43:49They get punished.
00:44:01You shameless liar.
00:44:02What the hell are you doing?
00:44:04You think I don't know what you're up to?
00:44:06Fine, do whatever you want.
00:44:07But don't let me catch you in my house once I marry him.
00:44:10If he's that hooked on you,
00:44:11let him rent a place for you.
00:44:13Just make sure you know your place.
00:44:20Stop it.
00:44:21That was my stepsister.
00:44:25The same stepsister who's been mistreating her?
00:44:28And holding her father's surgery over her head?
00:44:33Here, take it.
00:44:34There's enough to cover your father's surgery.
00:44:36Use the rest to rent a place.
00:44:38Rent a place?
00:44:39Julian, I'm not your kept woman.
00:44:47Running again?
00:44:48Playing hard to nut, huh?
00:44:50Fine.
00:44:50Let's see how far you can run from me.
00:44:55Hey, Sophia.
00:44:56What's the hurry?
00:44:57Something bothering you?
00:45:01Well, actually, yeah.
00:45:04Oscar, can you lend me some money?
00:45:06You know, for my dad's treatment.
00:45:10Miles' company still hasn't covered Mr. Clark's surgical bills?
00:45:15Fine.
00:45:16Handle S. Sophia's dad's medical expenses.
00:45:19Immediately.
00:45:20Put it on my tab.
00:45:22Yes.
00:45:23Sure.
00:45:24How much?
00:45:27Hello?
00:45:29What?
00:45:30Someone just paid for my dad's surgery?
00:45:33What's wrong?
00:45:37What's up, Sophia?
00:45:38That injury from last night still bothering you?
00:45:41Dr. Bain!
00:45:42What injury?
00:45:46Wait.
00:45:47What went down between you two last night?
00:45:50Well, last night, he, uh...
00:45:52Let's see how you weasel your way out of this one.
00:45:56Good boy.
00:46:02I mean, Dr. Bain picked up a stray dog last night.
00:46:05He's allergic to fur, so he dumped the little guy at my place.
00:46:08The little furball freaked out and accidentally bit my ear.
00:46:11Is it bad?
00:46:12Let me take a look.
00:46:13It's nothing.
00:46:15You got bitten by a dog?
00:46:18That's no joke.
00:46:19You need a rabies shot immediately.
00:46:20Come with me.
00:46:22Wait, wait, wait!
00:46:24Wait!
00:46:29Bitten by a dog?
00:46:33Is that the best lie you can come up with?
00:46:35Dr. Bailer, I'm covering up for you.
00:46:38What are you hiding from Oscar?
00:46:40Do you regret last night?
00:46:41Are you ashamed of being with me?
00:46:44I've got nothing to hide.
00:46:46And I'm not with you, Dr. Bail.
00:46:49You're just the first person I had with.
00:46:51That's it.
00:46:52No, that's not it.
00:46:54I will be the last person you have with.
00:47:00One last chance.
00:47:01Take this and tell me you're mine or walk out of my life.
00:47:04For good.
00:47:06Stop playing games with me or I'll...
00:47:08Or what?
00:47:09You'll bite me?
00:47:13Is that what you want?
00:47:17Try me.
00:47:19You're a very hard woman to say no to.
00:47:26Sophia?
00:47:27Was that you?
00:47:28Everything alright in there?
00:47:31Still so sure you've got nothing to hide?
00:47:33Want me to let him in?
00:47:35No!
00:47:36No.
00:47:37Please don't.
00:47:39It's all good, Oscar.
00:47:40She's just scared of the needle.
00:47:46Look at me, don't.
00:47:48You ever play games with me again?
00:47:51Or I'll leave my marks all over your body so the whole world knows you're mine.
00:47:54Sophia, come on.
00:48:09What are you doing here?
00:48:13Working.
00:48:14Like yourself.
00:48:16I'm Julian's future wife.
00:48:17I don't need to hook up with someone else's fiancé to get a job here.
00:48:21Attention, everyone.
00:48:22We are now conducting the CPR assessment.
00:48:25Take it seriously.
00:48:26Failure to pass will result in termination.
00:48:28Time to say goodbye to your job and to Julian, bitch.
00:48:30He's mine.
00:48:34Next, Eva.
00:48:38Good.
00:48:39Passed.
00:48:40Next, Sophia.
00:48:45Enjoy this, bitch.
00:48:51Oh, no.
00:48:53What the hell?
00:48:54You've ruined it.
00:48:59I don't know what happened.
00:49:01I can't even imagine what happened if this were a real patient.
00:49:04Exactly.
00:49:05You'd kill someone.
00:49:06How the hell did you even graduate med school?
00:49:09What's going on here?
00:49:11Did you see that?
00:49:12She doesn't even know how to do CPR.
00:49:14Fire her.
00:49:14Really?
00:49:15That's unacceptable.
00:49:16CPR is one of the most basic life-saving skills.
00:49:18You can't afford to mess it up.
00:49:19Exactly.
00:49:20Someone so incompetent shouldn't even be here.
00:49:23She's right.
00:49:24I saw everything.
00:49:25Dr. Clark's CPR technique is flawless.
00:49:27It's clear the damage was caused by the previous doctor's mistake.
00:49:30If she can't even do CPR right, she's not fit for the job.
00:49:33Dr. Clark, I need you to show them how it's done correctly.
00:49:35Come up here and demonstrate CR on me.
00:49:44What are you doing?
00:49:46Shh.
00:49:47I'm supposed to be your patient and I need CPR now.
00:49:49Now, do it.
00:49:50Unless you want me dying on your watch.
00:49:52Please.
00:49:53Stop.
00:49:53Everyone's watching.
00:50:05So what?
00:50:06Didn't your instructor teach you to fully expose the patient's chest for proper access?
00:50:17I can't feel the breaths you're giving me.
00:50:22That's much better.
00:50:26Is her CPR actually giving Dr. Bale a heart attack?
00:50:29How is that possible?
00:50:30There's a theory that performing CPR on someone whose heart is already beating too fast could
00:50:34actually trigger asphyxia.
00:50:36First the dummy and now Dr. Bale?
00:50:38If she can be a doctor, so could Freddy Krugler.
00:50:41Julian, stay with me.
00:50:43Now, what do I do?
00:50:46Yes, I'll give him mouth to mouth.
00:50:56You're awake.
00:51:00So you do care about me, little liar.
00:51:02You know you do.
00:51:09Oh, wow.
00:51:11Who's the puppy now?
00:51:18As you can see, Dr. Clark's CPR skills are exemplary.
00:51:22Everyone, make sure you take note.
00:51:33Mom, I can't stand that little trink throwing herself at Julian anymore.
00:51:39Desperate measures must be taken.
00:51:41Now.
00:51:49What?
00:51:50My dad's surgery funds were withdrew by his family?
00:51:53The operation has been canceled?
00:51:57Eva!
00:51:58Did you take my father's surgery money?
00:52:01Give it back!
00:52:03Take this as a warning, bitch.
00:52:06Go anywhere near Julian again, and your dad's out of the hospital,
00:52:09left to die in the street.
00:52:11I've told you a thousand times, I have nothing to do with Julian!
00:52:16Yeah, I'll believe that.
00:52:21Right after you marry someone else.
00:52:26No, I'm not marrying anyone!
00:52:29See this?
00:52:31This is your old man's life-saving money.
00:52:33And guess what?
00:52:35You're not getting it back until you agree to the marriage.
00:52:38So, what's it gonna be?
00:52:40Fine, I'll do what you say.
00:52:43Just give me my dad's surgery money!
00:52:46Just give me my dad's surgery money!
00:52:52You want the money?
00:52:53Fine.
00:52:55Get down on all fours and dig it out of these filthy used needles.
00:53:08Oh, God.
00:53:11Your dad's as good as gone if you keep dragging on like this.
00:53:14Get your hands in there, you coward.
00:53:40Careful!
00:53:42Who knows what filthy diseases those needles carry.
00:53:46Wonder if Suitly would still want you when you're infected.
00:53:53Get your hands off her!
00:53:56What the hell is going on here?
00:54:01Julian, darling, it's nothing.
00:54:03Sofia just knocked over a box of used syringes and I was simply asking her to clean up the mess.
00:54:11Is that true?
00:54:19There's no point in telling him the truth.
00:54:22Eva's his fiancée.
00:54:24And besides, dad's life's in her hands.
00:54:28Something like that.
00:54:37You're fired.
00:54:40Did you hear that?
00:54:41You're fired.
00:54:45No.
00:54:46I mean you are fired.
00:54:48What?
00:54:52Julian, how can you fire me over some shameless third wheel?
00:55:09I can do it myself.
00:55:10Dr. Bale, we should keep our distance.
00:55:23May I ask why?
00:55:26Because I'm getting married soon.
00:55:30What did you just say?
00:55:31To who?
00:55:35Sophia, where are you?
00:55:39Go anywhere near Julian again and your dad's out of the hospital.
00:55:42It's time I'll catch you red-handed, getting cozy with my man.
00:55:56I gotta go.
00:56:00Where are you going?
00:56:06What are you hiding anyway?
00:56:08Am I some dirty little secret you're desperate to sweep under the rug?
00:56:11Please, just let me go.
00:56:14I can't.
00:56:15Dr. Clark, I'm very disappointed in you.
00:56:19You're far too timid, too weak to be a real doctor.
00:56:22And that calls for punishment.
00:56:24Now quit being a pushover and show her what you're made of.
00:56:32Please, stop.
00:56:34No.
00:56:35Not until you confess.
00:56:38Confess what?
00:56:40That you lied about getting married and about your feelings for me.
00:56:49Are you a doctor or a psychic?
00:56:51How do you know about my feelings?
00:56:56Because your body never lies.
00:56:58Every time you get close to me, your body temperature spikes and your ventricles contract violently.
00:57:04So stop pretending and admit it that I'm the first and the last man you'll ever let inside your heart.
00:57:12And inside your body.
00:57:19Oops.
00:57:22Ow!
00:57:23Ouch!
00:57:24What the hell are you doing here?
00:57:25I told you you're fired!
00:57:27Sophia!
00:57:28I'll make you pay for this!
00:57:32Miles, are you still gonna marry Sophia or what?
00:57:35What do you mean you're too scared?
00:57:37Ugh, then just pay some thug to marry her and keep her out of the way.
00:57:42You're welcome.
00:57:43What am I thanking you for?
00:57:45You could have got me killed!
00:57:54Has Sophia's father's surgery payment come through?
00:57:57Good.
00:57:58This time make sure the family has no access to withdraw the funds.
00:58:01Have the hospital schedule the surgery immediately.
00:58:07Hello?
00:58:08What?
00:58:09My father's heart surgery can't proceed because my stepmother won't sign the consent?
00:58:15I'm on my way.
00:58:17What?
00:58:18Her father's surgery is on hold because her stepmother won't sign the consent?
00:58:23And they're holding his life over her head just to force her into marrying some disgusting old creep?
00:58:31I'm on my way.
00:58:57I'm on my way.
00:58:58How's my dad?
00:58:58You're lucky I'm even interested.
00:59:00You're lucky I'm even interested.
00:59:01Actually, I've changed my mind.
00:59:02A woman this stubborn?
00:59:04Not worth it.
00:59:05Unless she gets on her knees and begs me to take her.
00:59:08You heard him.
00:59:09Get down on your knees and beg Mr. Barton to marry you.
00:59:12Otherwise, you can forget about seeing your father alive again.
00:59:17Get down on your knees and beg me to take her.
00:59:19Do that and this is all yours.
00:59:21More than enough to buy your old man's sad life ten times over.
00:59:24But if you don't, well, you can stand there and watch him die.
00:59:30Get your hands off her!
00:59:39Get on your knees and beg her for forgiveness.
00:59:42Do it.
00:59:43And all this is yours.
00:59:45If you don't, this is more than enough to crush a pathetic vermin like you ten times over.
00:59:57Please, Miss Clark, forgive me.
01:00:02Looks like she's not buying it.
01:00:04Can't say I blame her.
01:00:05Still, you can take this
01:00:09as a warning to stay the hell away from my girl.
01:00:12Mr. Bale, please!
01:00:14It wasn't me!
01:00:15Mr. Bale, please.
01:00:17I'll deal with you two later.
01:00:21It's all right, I got you.
01:00:24Everything's all right.
01:00:25Please, help my dad.
01:00:28Transfer Mr. Clark to my hospital immediately
01:00:30and have our top cardiologist prep for surgery.
01:00:33But Mr. Bale, according to the insurance company's policy,
01:00:36if we transfer him now, the medical insurance won't cover the costs.
01:00:43Screw the insurance company.
01:00:45I'll cover the cost.
01:00:47Now get him transferred immediately
01:00:48and make it clear to every surgeon and stand nurse.
01:00:52If anything happens to Mr. Clark, they'll have me to answer to.
01:01:00Bad news!
01:01:01The lead surgeon just collapsed midway through the operation.
01:01:04The stress was too much.
01:01:08Get another surgeon in there.
01:01:10Now!
01:01:13We've tried, but the surgery is too intricate.
01:01:15No one else is qualified.
01:01:21Doctor, please.
01:01:22Save my father.
01:01:24He's all I have left.
01:01:25I'll do anything.
01:01:26Just save him.
01:01:28I'm so sorry about the accident.
01:01:31Miss, at this point,
01:01:32all we can do is stitch him up and pray for the best.
01:01:40No.
01:01:43I'll take over and finish the surgery myself.
01:01:47But, Julian,
01:01:48you're not a cardiologist
01:01:50or even a surgeon.
01:01:51I was the star student at med school.
01:01:53I've got this.
01:01:56Do you trust me?
01:02:18Do you trust me?
01:02:25Sophia,
01:02:26your father
01:02:27will live.
01:02:38Julian!
01:02:39Julian!
01:02:43Don't worry.
01:02:44He's fine.
01:02:45Just passed out from stress and exhaustion.
01:02:47He'll recover after some rest.
01:02:48Go check on your father for now.
01:02:50Okay.
01:02:56Dad,
01:02:58thank God you're all right.
01:03:03Baby girl,
01:03:04you look like a mess.
01:03:05Tell me what's wrong.
01:03:07I'm fine, Dad.
01:03:08I may be old and sick,
01:03:10but I'm not stupid.
01:03:13It's your stepmother and Eva,
01:03:15isn't it?
01:03:16They're threatening you with my life.
01:03:18I hurt everything.
01:03:20I hurt everything.
01:03:23Tessa,
01:03:24come over here this instant.
01:03:25I want a divorce.
01:03:26Dad,
01:03:27no,
01:03:27don't do this.
01:03:28You're still recovering.
01:03:29You need money for your treatment.
01:03:31Please,
01:03:31don't divorce her.
01:03:32I've made up my mind,
01:03:33Sophia.
01:03:35I didn't raise you up
01:03:36so they could tear you down.
01:03:38The only thing that kept me going
01:03:40after your mama passed
01:03:41was to watch my baby girl smile.
01:03:45And you will.
01:03:55Mr. Clark,
01:03:56I give you my word.
01:03:57I'll take care of Sophia.
01:03:58I'll protect her,
01:03:59cherish her,
01:04:00and do everything in my power
01:04:01to make her happy.
01:04:02Julian,
01:04:02what are you...
01:04:06Sophia,
01:04:08who is this wonderful young man?
01:04:11Father,
01:04:11this is Dr. Bale.
01:04:13He's the one who saved your life.
01:04:14Thank you,
01:04:15doctor.
01:04:15For everything.
01:04:18No need to thank me,
01:04:19Mr. Clark.
01:04:20We'll be family soon.
01:04:22What is he playing at?
01:04:24Isn't he supposed to marry Eva?
01:04:32Oh,
01:04:32what Julian means is,
01:04:34after we get married,
01:04:35we'll all become
01:04:36one big happy family.
01:04:38Right,
01:04:38father?
01:04:42Isn't that the ring
01:04:43he proposed her with?
01:04:44What's he up to now?
01:04:55Drop the act.
01:04:57We both know
01:04:57I never intended to marry you.
01:04:58So stop pestering me
01:04:59and don't bring up
01:05:00this arranged marriage nonsense again.
01:05:03Sophia,
01:05:03I looked into it.
01:05:04Your stepsister
01:05:05stole the money I sent you
01:05:06and used it to buy
01:05:07that diamond ring.
01:05:08There was never anything
01:05:08between us.
01:05:10Julian never agreed to marry Eva?
01:05:14How stupid I was.
01:05:17Then what about the partnership
01:05:19between my mother
01:05:20and your family?
01:05:21I'm terminating all cooperation
01:05:23with your mother.
01:05:24Effective immediately.
01:05:25In that case,
01:05:27your father won't see a single
01:05:28from our divorce
01:05:29and I certainly won't cover
01:05:31any of his future
01:05:31medical expenses.
01:05:34You want to divorce me,
01:05:35old man?
01:05:36Fine.
01:05:36Sign this.
01:05:44Let's see how you're
01:05:45going to take care
01:05:46of your dear old dad now.
01:05:49Don't worry.
01:05:50I'll take care of Mr. Clark's
01:05:51future medical bills.
01:05:54No, you won't.
01:05:55You've caused enough damage.
01:05:59I've decided to revoke
01:06:00your control over the hospital
01:06:01and cut you out
01:06:03of the family business entirely.
01:06:05Dad?
01:06:07What are you doing here?
01:06:09What am I doing here?
01:06:11Cleaning up your mess,
01:06:12obviously.
01:06:12Do you even realize
01:06:13what you've done?
01:06:18Julian,
01:06:18are you out of your mind
01:06:20performing surgery
01:06:21without the right
01:06:21for dentatials?
01:06:23You could have landed
01:06:23yourself in prison.
01:06:25The situation was critical.
01:06:26It was the only way
01:06:27to save my patient's life.
01:06:29Given my reputation
01:06:30and track record,
01:06:31I'm sure I'll get an exception.
01:06:32Your reputation?
01:06:34Son,
01:06:34your hospital already
01:06:35has the highest rate
01:06:36of disputes
01:06:37with Mr. Thompson's
01:06:38insurance company.
01:06:39I'm constantly putting
01:06:40out fires for you.
01:06:41And now this?
01:06:42You know as well as I do
01:06:43how his insurance company
01:06:44operates.
01:06:46He denies claims
01:06:47on ridiculous grounds,
01:06:48all for profit.
01:06:49He doesn't give a damn
01:06:50about people's lives.
01:06:51And neither should you.
01:06:53This is a business, Julian,
01:06:54not a charity.
01:07:00So you did it all for her?
01:07:02This woman is the reason
01:07:04for all your idiocy?
01:07:05Leave her out of this.
01:07:07She has nothing to do with...
01:07:10Whatever.
01:07:11There's only one way
01:07:11to save your skin right now.
01:07:13I've been talking to Tessa
01:07:15and Lucas Thompson,
01:07:16and they're willing
01:07:17to drop the lawsuit,
01:07:18but only on one condition.
01:07:22You need to break up
01:07:23with Sophia
01:07:25immediately.
01:07:29And marry Eva.
01:07:39Julian, darling,
01:07:40I'll give you one week
01:07:42to think it over.
01:07:43Give me an answer,
01:07:44put a ring on my finger,
01:07:45or we'll settle this in court.
01:07:49Sophia,
01:07:50all I need is an answer
01:07:51from you.
01:07:53If I lose everything,
01:07:55my hospital,
01:07:56my fortune,
01:07:56my license,
01:07:57my reputation,
01:07:59will you still have me?
01:08:01No.
01:08:01I can't let him
01:08:02throw everything away from me.
01:08:04I have to push him away.
01:08:05He needs to marry Eva
01:08:06to survive this mess.
01:08:09I'm sorry.
01:08:10I have to go check
01:08:11on my father.
01:08:12Excuse me.
01:08:20Where's Sophia?
01:08:21She didn't show up
01:08:21for work today.
01:08:23She just handed this in.
01:08:25It's her resignation letter.
01:08:33You're a med school graduate?
01:08:35Why are you here
01:08:36looking for a job like this?
01:08:38Because
01:08:38it pays fast.
01:08:40I need quick cash
01:08:41for my dad's medical bill
01:08:43and pay my debt.
01:08:46Congratulations.
01:08:48You're hired.
01:08:49But there's a catch.
01:08:52You'll have to meet
01:08:53any requests
01:08:53the customers make.
01:09:05Hey there, sweetheart.
01:09:07You must be
01:09:07the new sheik, huh?
01:09:09Yeah,
01:09:10we've got this
01:09:10little tradition
01:09:11with newbies.
01:09:12Got to test
01:09:13the goods first.
01:09:14Don't worry.
01:09:15If you pass,
01:09:16the tips will be worth it.
01:09:18No!
01:09:19Let me go!
01:09:22Help me!
01:09:23Help me!
01:09:24Sophia?
01:09:29Get your hands off her!
01:09:41It's okay.
01:09:42Don't be afraid.
01:09:55What the hell
01:09:56are you doing here?
01:09:58Working.
01:09:58To pay back
01:09:59what I owe you.
01:10:02There are other ways
01:10:03to pay me back,
01:10:03you know?
01:10:07Like what?
01:10:11Surrender yourself
01:10:12to me
01:10:14completely.
01:10:15Fine,
01:10:16but this is the last time.
01:10:17After this,
01:10:18we're done.
01:10:20Is that what you want?
01:10:22Yes.
01:10:23I want you to
01:10:24me up
01:10:25and break me
01:10:25until there's
01:10:26nothing left of me
01:10:27but your name
01:10:28on my lips
01:10:29and your face
01:10:30burnt in my mind.
01:10:31Hmm.
01:11:04Why did you stop?
01:11:06I'm not taking you
01:11:07like this.
01:11:09Not until you're mine.
01:11:11Completely.
01:11:11And then I'll make you
01:11:12pay your debt
01:11:13piece by piece
01:11:14for as long
01:11:14as we both shall live.
01:11:16You're sick.
01:11:18Yeah, right.
01:11:19You're my sickness
01:11:20and my cure.
01:11:24What do you mean?
01:11:25I love you, Sophia.
01:11:27Truly, madly, deeply.
01:11:29Against every rule
01:11:29I've ever lived by.
01:11:31Against what anyone
01:11:31expects of me.
01:11:32Against all my
01:11:33better judgment.
01:11:37So, will you
01:11:38accept my hand
01:11:39in marriage
01:11:40and end my agony?
01:11:41You know what?
01:11:42Maybe you should have
01:11:43trusted your better judgment.
01:11:45What are you talking about?
01:11:46This is my last chance
01:11:48to save him.
01:11:49I have to push him away
01:11:50so he'll have to
01:11:51marry Eva.
01:11:52You were right
01:11:52about me all along.
01:11:53I'm a very bad girl,
01:11:55Julian.
01:11:55I played you
01:11:56for your money
01:11:57and status.
01:11:58What makes you think
01:11:59I'd marry you
01:11:59when you lose everything?
01:12:01Go down if you want
01:12:01but I'm not going down
01:12:02with you
01:12:03so leave me alone.
01:12:11Dad, time for lunch.
01:12:16Dad?
01:12:17What's wrong?
01:12:20It's him.
01:12:22Here.
01:12:23The Bale family heir
01:12:24and director of
01:12:25Evergreen Hospital
01:12:25Julian Mitch 3 Bale
01:12:26is facing trial
01:12:27following allegation
01:12:28Julian would rather
01:12:29face court
01:12:29than marry Eva?
01:12:34Julian did it all
01:12:35for us.
01:12:36We can't just stand by
01:12:38and let him sink.
01:12:43I won't let him sink,
01:12:45Dad.
01:12:45I'm going to save him.
01:12:57Hello?
01:13:00Julian Bale,
01:13:01you stand accused
01:13:02of defrauding
01:13:03Mr. Miles Thompson's
01:13:04insurance company
01:13:05and performing
01:13:06unauthorized surgical procedure.
01:13:08How do you plea?
01:13:09Guilty or not guilty?
01:13:12Julian Bale,
01:13:13you stand accused
01:13:14of defrauding
01:13:15Miles Thompson's
01:13:16insurance company
01:13:17and performing
01:13:18unauthorized surgical procedure.
01:13:20How do you plea?
01:13:21Guilty or not guilty?
01:13:23Not guilty.
01:13:26This is absurd.
01:13:27The evidence
01:13:28is piled sky high
01:13:29and he still has
01:13:30the nerve to deny it?
01:13:31Typical Julian.
01:13:32Always so stubborn.
01:13:34Won't admit defeat
01:13:35even when he's sinking
01:13:35like a stone.
01:13:36That's what I like
01:13:37about him.
01:13:39Hey,
01:13:40why don't you just
01:13:41plead guilty
01:13:41and save us
01:13:42all the trouble?
01:13:43Maybe you'll get
01:13:43a lighter sentence.
01:13:46Silence!
01:13:48Mr. Bale,
01:13:49do you deny
01:13:50that you and your hospital
01:13:51have been involved
01:13:51in multiple disputes
01:13:52Mr. Thompson's
01:13:53insurance company?
01:13:54That you've allegedly
01:13:55used forceful
01:13:56or corrosive measures
01:13:58to secure payment
01:13:59of claims?
01:13:59I don't deny it.
01:14:03But to call it
01:14:04insurance fraud?
01:14:06That's an insult
01:14:08to the intelligence
01:14:09of every citizen
01:14:10in this country.
01:14:11Mr. Thompson,
01:14:12do you deny
01:14:12that your insurance company
01:14:14routinely and heartlessly
01:14:15rejects legitimate claims
01:14:17on baseless grounds
01:14:18especially for patients
01:14:19in need of
01:14:20life-saving procedures?
01:14:21My hospital
01:14:22had to cover
01:14:23countless medical expenses
01:14:24out of pocket
01:14:25because of your greed.
01:14:26Lies!
01:14:29Baseless accusations.
01:14:30You've got no proof
01:14:32and without proof
01:14:33this is just slander.
01:14:36Mr. Bale,
01:14:37can you present
01:14:38any evidence
01:14:38to subsist
01:14:39change at your claim?
01:14:45Robert Miller
01:14:46Penetrating Eye Injury
01:14:47Denied
01:14:47William Thomas
01:14:49Bladder Rupture
01:14:50Denied
01:14:50Susan Jackson
01:14:51Acute Valve Failure
01:14:52Denied
01:14:53If I didn't cover
01:14:53their expenses
01:14:54these people would have
01:14:55lives were hanging
01:14:56by a thread
01:14:56and you were the one
01:14:58cutting it.
01:14:59Do you deny it?
01:15:02Do you need more proof?
01:15:04The only thing you care about
01:15:06is filling your pockets.
01:15:08To you,
01:15:09human lives
01:15:09are nothing but tools.
01:15:11Numbers to mess with
01:15:12for profit.
01:15:13What's your point?
01:15:14I was just doing my job
01:15:15and anyway,
01:15:16those low lives
01:15:17aren't worth a damn thing.
01:15:22Whatever.
01:15:23You're gonna jail anyway.
01:15:25Let's see you weasel your way
01:15:26out of the authorized
01:15:26eye surgery charge.
01:15:29Mr. Bale,
01:15:29did you or did you not
01:15:31perform surgery
01:15:32on Matthew Clark
01:15:33on February 23rd
01:15:34despite lacking
01:15:35the proper surgical credentials?
01:15:37I did.
01:15:37And yet you still plead
01:15:39not guilty?
01:15:41Yes, your honor.
01:15:42The circumstances were dire.
01:15:44Completing that surgery
01:15:45was the only chance
01:15:46to save Mr. Matthew Clark's life.
01:15:48Did you know that your actions
01:15:49violated a doctor's protocol?
01:15:51Yes, I did.
01:15:51But your honor,
01:15:52I made that decision
01:15:53not just as a doctor
01:15:54but as a human being
01:15:54who believes in the inherent
01:15:55value of every life.
01:15:57Hold me accountable
01:15:57if you must, your honor.
01:15:58But before God and the law,
01:15:59I am not guilty.
01:16:00Not guilty?
01:16:02You might as well
01:16:03plea insanity
01:16:03while you're at it.
01:16:05You've got to be
01:16:06out of your mind
01:16:06to throw away your career
01:16:08and your freedom
01:16:08over some random nobody.
01:16:10Watch your mouth,
01:16:11Mr. Thompson.
01:16:12He's not a random nobody.
01:16:14You're really losing it,
01:16:15aren't you?
01:16:15Are you saying
01:16:16that you're actually related
01:16:17to that useless old gear?
01:16:18You mean you risked
01:16:19everything to save him
01:16:20only for his daughter
01:16:21to dump you like trash?
01:16:22That's just pathetic.
01:16:28What the hell
01:16:28is she doing here?
01:16:32Your honor,
01:16:32I'm a medical school graduate
01:16:34and I distinctly remember
01:16:36a section in my textbook
01:16:37about something called
01:16:38the Good Samaritan Laws.
01:16:42If a family member
01:16:43performs an unqualified
01:16:44medical procedure
01:16:45in a life or death emergency,
01:16:47these laws protect them
01:16:48from prosecution.
01:16:49Your honor,
01:16:50Julian Bale should be granted
01:16:51an exception
01:16:52because he's a family member
01:16:53to the patient.
01:17:02Julian Bale,
01:17:03will you marry me?
01:17:06Your honor,
01:17:07I object.
01:17:08They're not even married yet.
01:17:10That exemption clause
01:17:11doesn't apply.
01:17:12Order in the court.
01:17:14Sit down
01:17:14and remain silent.
01:17:16Miss Sophia Clark,
01:17:18do you take Julian Bale
01:17:19as your lawfully wedded husband
01:17:21to have and to hold
01:17:22for better in sickness
01:17:23and in health
01:17:24for as long
01:17:24as you both shall live?
01:17:27I do.
01:17:28Do you, Julian Bale,
01:17:30take Sophia Clark?
01:17:31I do.
01:17:33I hereby pronounce you
01:17:35husband and wife.
01:17:37As for the charges
01:17:39against Mr. Bale,
01:17:40all charges are dismissed.
01:17:57I'm sorry
01:17:58to have you
01:17:58waiting so long,
01:17:59Julian.
01:17:59I've made up my mind.
01:18:00I love you more than anything.
01:18:01Sophia,
01:18:02I feel the same.
01:18:02I love you more than anything, too.
01:18:05I love you more than anything, too.
01:18:07I love you more than anything, too.
01:18:09I love you more than anything, too.

Very entertaining and this time around the main male character doesn’t fall easily for the main female villain’s manipulation. However, it doesn’t make sense though that she goes from being a medical doctor to working at a bar. 😂 Also, she’s a bar tender, but also customers can make sexual requests? 😂
