00:00Next month, you will be marking your fourth year in office, at a time that many may consider a tumultuous
00:08phase in your presidency.
00:10Are you going to take steps and how to turn down the political heat so that you may accomplish in
00:17whatever is left in your term?
00:19The only persons who can turn down the political heat are the people who turned up the political heat in
00:27the first place.
00:27I have never turned up the political heat. I have never attacked anyone. I have never put down anyone.
00:35I have never declared war on any political group whatsoever. All I do is work.
00:42So, those who have raised the heat, those who are making all kinds of preposterous allegations,
00:56they have increased the heat, the political heat. Only they can turn it down.
01:01Not those of us who are just working and trying to do the best job for the Filipino people.
01:07It is the people who have indulged themselves in politics for their own benefit,
01:15not for the benefit of the people, not for the benefit of the system, not for the benefit of anybody
01:20but themselves.
01:22They are the only ones who can be able to get out of the pain that's happening.
01:29They are not the pain that's happening to us.
01:32Might you address it directly, Mr. President? Who are you referring to?
01:36Oh, come on. There are many.
01:39There are many. But that's the nature of politics.
01:42That's the nature of politics.
01:45It is like a legal process. It is an adversarial process in many ways.
01:51And that's what happens.
01:54However, different politicians choose to exercise or to work their politics in different ways.
02:04There are two kinds of politicians in my view.
02:08Those who are actually helping and those who are doing nothing but obstruction.
02:13Yung mga meron dyan, obstructionists, walang ginawa kundi gusto mang gulo.
02:17Lahat nagsabihin ng administrasyon, mali.
02:21Walang tama.
02:23Kahit anong sabihin mo, kahit marami kang tinulungan pa,
02:26kahit maganda yung nagawa mo, mali lahat yan.
02:29Dahil kalabang kita.
02:31Those are the obstructionists.
02:33And they are not working for the Filipino people.
02:37They are working for themselves.
02:39And that's why, again, they are the ones who need to decide to lower the political temperature.
02:49Because, although, I don't know.
02:51I don't know if they will actually do that.
02:53But, if you are desirous of lowering the political temperature,
03:05you have to look at who raised the political temperature in the first place.
03:10They are the ones who can lower the political temperature.
03:23They are the one who can lower the political temperature.
03:25They are the ones that come and lower the political temperature.
03:25I don't like the holiday deaths at night.
03:25That's what they want to say.
03:26You
