00:00What was your feeling when you get on the plane?
00:04On that moment I have two types of feelings, two different types of feelings.
00:10At first I was delighted about this, that finally our work, all our efforts which we have done somehow success,
00:20our flight was success.
00:21I was also happy with my sisters and also with my brothers that they are safe and now they would
00:27be in a safe place without any cancer.
00:29But in the second part, in the second side, I also feel too much sorrow since I had to leave
00:38my country, my homeland, where I born, where I educated, where I had worked.
00:44I'm 26 years old and during these 26 years old I was whole in Afghanistan, I never went in other
00:53countries.
00:54So it was a terrible experience for me as well, since the only thing which I carry with myself was
01:00only my cell phone and my hard disk.
01:02It was the whole thing which I carry with myself.
01:05So everything has remained in Kabul without anything.
01:10And besides this, I have also a feeling of concern regarding my family, regarding who has just remained behind me.
01:20We had a free life and I never think of that, that some days, again, Talibans come to power and
01:27all the limitations, all the restrictions are getting back.
01:31And women have to go out with the burqa and not alone. Is that already in place?
01:39Yeah, for sure. For example, when I went to the airport, it was the first day after Taliban's power, I
01:48went outside after one week.
01:50So what I did, I wore two burqa, one on the other. Then I wore one wheel like this and
02:01the second wheel again like that.
02:03Otherwise, it will be too dangerous for you. Since when I get to the plane, I just cried.
02:10Everyone's shocked. Why are you crying? They just think that maybe because of too many things and too many difficulties
02:18which we passed during the gate and during the airport, inside the airport.
02:24So maybe she's crying.
02:25What do you see in your future?
02:29I really like to pursue my education in gender and humanities well.
02:34Since what I'm thinking that I should be working for women, for the most vulnerable part of my society, which
02:43are women and women in Afghanistan.
02:45So I would like to, whenever I'm here now, I'm safe, fortunately, by the contribution of Italy government and also
02:53my Rome colleagues and you people.
02:55Now we are safe, fortunately we are safe. So we should just use of these moments.
03:00We just, if some days they, we still have hope in this regard.
03:06If the situation gets better in Afghanistan, so we can be back to Afghanistan and work for the people, for
03:15the changing their mind, for changing this society.
