A new report from NFU Mutual shows rural crime costs rising in the North East while falling in parts of the North West. Farmers say vehicle and livestock theft is causing disruption and concern for the future.

00:29in Cumbria rose 30%, in line with the UK average. Nationally, rural crime fell 6% to £41.5 million
00:37last year. William Mourne said vehicle theft causes disruption and frustration locally.
