00:04Donald Trump, the buffalo, has gone viral in Bangladesh over his resemblance to the American
00:10leader. And the joke has not been lost on U.S. rivals abroad. Our Asia correspondent,
00:16Stash Butler, reports. Some animals end up looking a lot like their owners. Others,
00:22like this buffalo, resemble the leader of the free world. Nicknamed Donald Trump and
00:26sporting the president's trademark blonde hair, this albino bull has become an online star.
00:33Crowds of fans have visited his pen in Bangladesh, so many that it's disrupted his appetite and
00:39viewing has been curtailed. Visitor Faisal Ahmed says his nephew took an hour-long boat journey
00:45just to get a glimpse. He agrees that Trump, the buffalo, is a spitting image of the man himself.
00:51Even America's rivals have got in on the joke. Iran's embassy in Russia has reposted a video
00:56of the animal, suggesting it's been upset by comparisons to the 47th president.
01:01There's been no comment from the bull himself. Trump, the buffalo, is one of millions of animals
01:07in Bangladesh feted for ritual slaughter, as the Muslim country prepares for the feast of Eid al-Adha
01:13this week. It's a sad ending for an unlikely star. But for an animal named after a famously
01:20stake-loving president, it's also a fitting opportunity to put the rump back in Trump.
