22:09it, act upon it, begin to believe and respect what God has done concerning us. Sometimes the church
22:17comes up so short in the things of God. I again say, how many folk had so much problems when
22:28I
22:28said, we don't try, we train. And many struggled with that. And I'm thinking, if you got on an
22:39airplane and you're about to take a flight somewhere, you don't want that pilot to come
22:43over that speaker and say, I'm going to try to fly this plane. Or you don't want a doctor saying,
22:49well, I'm going to try to, you know, that, you know, it would make you very uncomfortable. Okay.
22:56If not even just totally get out of the whole situation. So why do we expect anything less
23:02when it comes to the kingdom of God, when it comes to the word of God? Yet, no, we don't
23:08try. We
23:09train and we keep training. So we don't have to try. So it becomes an absolute. I don't try.
23:15I train. And then I do act upon what it is you've learned. What is the acting of laying hands?
23:21He
23:22said, these signs shall follow you. And I know that's been a real smoke screen, the way tradition
23:28and religion has simply excluded everybody except certain ones. You got to have this title,
23:36or that title. You got to have these credentials of that. I know how that's gone, but let me tell
23:41you something. You don't have to have any of those things except for the power that has been authorized
23:46to you by God, by Jesus himself. Listen, when you know that, you know, there's not a hesitation
23:54of doing what the word of God says. So yes, you lay hands, you speak and you command by,
24:01by the God of your salvation. Okay. And, and the God given authority. Okay. And, and not religious
24:12theatrics and all the things that go on in, in Christian dome and this whole religious stuff.
24:18It's, you know, if you, I'm telling you, the more you get away from that, the more you're going to
24:23see,
24:23you're going to see breakthroughs. You're going to see real results. You're going to have some
24:27evidence. You're going to have things to show forth what you're saying. Uh, we read to you in,
24:32in the scripture on last week that the kingdom is not about a lot of talk, but power and demonstration.
24:40And so if you're going to have that power, you have to respect that power. All right. And then of
24:46course, so we said announce, which is a declaration. Now you act, which is what the scripture says.
24:51These signs shall follow you. And then number three, the demonstration, the demonstration of it show
24:56proof, you know, let the word of God speak for itself through you, you know, let it confirm because
25:05confirmation brings transformation. That that's very simple. It brings transformation to people
25:11who have been bound up by religious rhetoric and all kinds of, you know, semantics. It's,
25:18it's amazing that by now people who are not really just weary of that and want to see the,
25:24the, the, the real things and the real truth of God almighty. So again, demonstration is to show proof,
25:31you know, let the testimony of their, your, you know, power speak for itself because that's what
25:36brings transfer transformation, you know, thinking, you know, have a different mindset, demand a different
25:44mindset, you know, put, put authority in a place of demand on your life. Okay. And, and because what
25:52results get attention, all right, so kingdom arrives with proof, as we read in the scripture and proof
26:01will change and transform people's minds. And the more you hear this truth, transformation is taking
26:08place. You're not going to be struggling, you know, with this because this is the original message.
26:14And that's what we have to get back to again. So then the, the, the religion loves sermons
26:24with only temporary or, or partial truths with, with very little evidence or results. And that's
26:32why there's so many of these different religions, because they can just put a whole lot of stuff out
26:37there that they never have to confirm, uh, because people are being drawn in by what is called a spirit
26:44of religion. All right. And so then, uh, this, this emotional momentary feelings that take place,
26:55you know, through this religious, um, routine, it's just a lot of words without the, the evidence,
27:05without the works, you know, claim a lot of claims with, with no proof or evidence. And people are
27:14weary of that. You as a born again, believer, one who God has called you're weary of those things
27:22because kingdom represents the law of the presence of God almighty, the power of God almighty,
27:31which that's what gives people expectation, real and genuine expectation. So when kingdom is
27:40announced, when the King is announced, the King, he acts, he operates, he moves on what he says.
27:47So the proclamation, uh, we talked about great joy. There was great joy in that city as the kingdom
27:55was preached. Okay. Uh, and, and, and Luke is, is what's to be expected. He, he's declaring what is
28:03to be expected when kingdom comes and the truth be told, we have not manifested kingdom as much as
28:11we've manifest religious routines and habits and ceremonialism about a whole lot of, you know,
28:21formalities, you know, we got all those things down pat, but they, they have no results. They have,
28:27it's just a formality. It's ceremonialism. It's, it's what all of this, I believe is so much of
28:33paganism that has made its way into the body of Christ and it dominates the thoughts and the minds
28:40of God's people. You know, think about the traditional realm, you know, did you ever really
28:46get built up into your gift and your calling? It was really more about what you're not and what
28:53you need to be. And you have most of God's people who are powerful people walking around with guilt
28:59complexes and never feeling good enough and never, God never wanted you to feel like that's not,
29:05that didn't come from God. You know, he, he wants you to be built up and walk in the power
29:10that Jesus
29:11paid his blood for you to walk in. And you don't need a bunch of titles and credentials. Now I
29:18know
29:18a lot of the world system, that's what they need to, for you to go mainstream. And for those of
29:23you
29:23that are going mainstream, I say, go for it in Jesus name, go just as far as you can go
29:30and know beyond
29:31the shadow of a doubt that this is the realm of kingdom. That's what you represent. And you don't
29:36need to fall short or change yourself for anybody. Joy is the evidence of the governmental presence
29:44of the kingdom of God. And Jesus said, repent for the kingdom of God is at hand, has arrived. He
29:53says,
29:54how do you know it's arrived? He said, if I cast out devils with the finger of God, then you
29:59know,
29:59the kingdom has come upon you. Know these things so you can respect it and honor it and walk in
30:06it.
30:06And believe it because that is what God has given onto you. And so understanding the governmental
30:13presence of the kingdom of God, you carry that. Well, that's greater. Can I tell you, that's greater
30:20than any title or letters you can have behind your name, because that is what Jesus died, shed blood for
30:28so that we could have this power and bring what? In earth as it is in heaven. That's why he
30:36said,
30:36even pray like this, pray our father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy holy name, thy kingdom come,
30:44thy will be done. Where? In earth as it is in heaven. What is in heaven? God chose you, selected
30:52that you be
30:53the one to bring it into this earthly realm so that people can receive the kind of word that Jesus
31:01preached
31:01and not a whole lot of fancy messages. Yes, we're good orators and oracles and all this good stuff,
31:08but you know, that's just a temporary feel good. You got to have some power and demonstration working
31:15with you because that's what begins to bring about the kind of transformation that Jesus was talking
31:21about. So joy is the evidence of the governmental presence of the kingdom of God. When you start
31:28hearing the truth of the kingdom, it does, it just brings joy in your spirit. It starts lifting you
31:35up. It starts giving you a greater expectation and it makes you begin to look for something greater
31:41than where you are, something more and beyond yourself. So the atmosphere, this is righteous rule
31:50that you carry. You change the atmosphere when you show up. You know, it's the evidence of the joy
31:58and when people don't understand it, yes, sometimes they do knock what they don't understand, but that's
32:03just it because they don't understand it. Isaiah chapter 9 and verse 7 in the book of Isaiah,
32:10he puts it this away, of the increase of his government and peace, there shall be no end.
32:20So I told you, listen, the whole church situation, that's going to come to an end because we change
32:27dispensations after the rapture and we step into a whole new realm of heaven, the kingdom of heaven
32:34in earth. And so the government is what's going to be increasing and it will never, you know, his kingdom
32:41will be forever. So that's why I said the church is the beginning. It's not the end. Everybody just
32:48stop right at the church and go no further. The church is to transition, transition into the kingdom
32:56of God, where you begin to walk in the power and the authority that he has given you. So where
33:02his
33:03government increases, peace, joy will increase also. You feel the atmosphere. When I say respect it,
33:12it's not just having reverence for it, but it's also acknowledging it, being aware of it, be conscious
33:19of what you carry. I told you, it's why your presence stirs up stuff in certain places or certain
33:26people, I should say, because you have the presence and many don't even understand what they carry.
33:33You think that you, you know, had something to do with somebody getting upset or what they said,
33:38or no, it was your presence. I told you many times your presence is a mirror to people and they
33:45don't
33:46want to see themselves in you because they know what they need to do and they're not ready or they
33:53don't want to, or whatever their problem is, but your presence is going to, you know, create some
33:58discomfort there. And sometimes people get rude and very, you know, out of order and you think it's you,
34:06it's your presence and you can't change that. Again, the message of the kingdom has arrived
34:13and it arrives with power, the power of the king himself. Minds are renewed and this is happening
34:22to you. Every time we come on, we are going to continue because that's what the spirit of God is
34:27saying, that we must preach the kingdom with such urgency, the same urgency that we preach Jesus
34:34Christ, him crucified and risen and saved all of us. We have to do the same urgency for the realm
34:42of
34:42kingdom because that was the message that he preached. Okay. And, and listen, we don't fear.
34:50We don't retreat. That's why I said, we don't try. We train, we keep training until we get what it
34:57is
34:58that God is doing. And like, who, whoever, you know, in this life has been saved and haven't made a
35:05bunch
35:06of mistakes, haven't done some wrong things. And, and just cause you know better don't mean you always
35:12do better. And again, that's that religious mess that makes people feel all guilty and bad. You know,
35:17that's what forgiveness is about. This is why we, and let's repent. Think about it again. Give it a,
35:26I want you to get to the point of all, out of all this religious mindset, repent. Do you know,
35:32repent, that word pent is the root word for penthouse. Repent means come up to your highest
35:39standard of yourself. Because when Jesus said it, he knew how we've been created. Remember about a week
35:46or so ago, we said, I am fearfully and wonderfully made. This is how he has made you. And he
35:52says,
35:52he wants you to come up to your original intent. That was somebody said, not when someone called you,
35:58not how somebody treated you, but come up to the original person that Jesus himself died for the
36:05original person that God said, listen, you are really someone that I am going to choose. I'm going
36:12to mark you and I'm going to place you in some very different types of situations because I want
36:18you to see how important and how powerful you are. Come on. How many of us have been in some
36:25situations,
36:26you know, right now, if it wasn't for the Lord, you would not be here. How many times have your
36:31life
36:32been saved and preserved? You know, it was God. God is trying to show you how important you are to
36:39him,
36:39how he has made such a sacrifice and will continue to make sacrifices for you. He wants you here.
36:48That's why you're here. That's why the enemy tried to destroy you and he couldn't do it. It didn't work.
36:55He's still trying things that will never work because all it's doing is building you up. It's
37:01making you stronger. It's also making you wiser. This is what God has placed in you and he is going
37:08to
37:08bring it out in you and it's going to be of such a powerful realm. You're going to, you know,
37:14I've said it for years. You're going to have to be reintroduced to yourself. Glory to God.
37:19So the message of the kingdom, it is here. Religion manipulates. It's a manipulating thing
37:26because people want to be in control and they don't realize God never gave his people for somebody
37:34to control. No. And this is what religion does. It manipulates because it needs to control.
37:42It manipulates their perception. Whereas what does kingdom do? It manifests. It begins to manifest
37:49your authority. It begins to manifest your character, your abilities, your thoughts, your gifts,
37:57your creativity. That's what kingdom is about. It's not holding you back because somebody is jealous that
38:03you're going to go before, you know, get ahead of them or do better than kingdom. The religion does
38:09that, but kingdom doesn't do that. Kingdom wants to bring out the best in you. You know, religion
38:15markets itself. Yes, it does. But kingdom exalts the king and we are to again manifest heaven in earth
38:25through the authority. Go back to that power again, that exousia. That's some very serious power.
38:35Exousia is miraculous. It heals when healing makes no sense. It delivers when deliverance makes no sense.
38:43It does things that the world cannot understand. You know, miracles are a part of God that, you know,
38:51he knows fully what they're about. We still call them miracles, but to God, it's the way you were
38:56created. It's the way you're supposed to be anyway. It's his original intent for you. So again, religion
39:03brings people under a spell, you know, and, and they're just so not who they really are because
39:10religion, it's got an assembly line and you got to dress like them. You got to do everything they say.
39:16You got to look like them. They don't care if you're dying on the inside. I mean, you,
39:20your heart can be broken and torn apart, but as long as you look the part, just look okay,
39:26and you're good to go. Doesn't matter if you're not growing, doesn't matter if you're not coming
39:33into who you are, you know, just don't put on this and, you know, put on that and don't do
39:39this and
39:40don't, that is religion and people are done with it because they need to grow and come into the reality
39:46of who God has made them to be and why he has placed them here for such a time as
39:54this. Glory
39:55to God, you know, all the showmanship that takes place, you know, and it captivates the people's
40:01mind. It becomes a spectacle, you know, a spectatorship, okay? You know, enslaving people
40:09under the power of religion. Entertainment is the thing in the church now. You got to have all sorts
40:15of entertainment and yes, it'll draw people, but it won't keep them. Yes. And oh yeah, it'll
40:21entertain them, but it won't deliver them. And we've got to get serious about our purpose here
40:27in earth as it is in heaven. So religion and showmanship, these are the greatest enemies of
40:34the kingdom. Kingdom is not about the show and all about a person that everybody looks up to. Like
40:41if that person has something that God didn't give you, that is religion. Religion speaks to control,
40:48you know, and what God, he demands surrender and submission. He's not about someone being,
40:54you know, in control and telling everybody what they're not as though they are everything.
41:02Acts 8 and 13, you know, I'm going to keep this. I have to keep this course. I have to
41:08stay the
41:09course. Now it may be rough for some, but I'm telling you, you get ahold to the message of the
41:13kingdom and everything changes. Acts chapter 8 and verse 13 says, then Simon, the sorcerer. Now this
41:19was an encounter that Peter had with a sorcerer, you know, and this sorcerer believed he came to
41:26believe. He actually got baptized and he continued with Philip and, and he, you know, he was, he was
41:34amazed. And, and the Bible says he was one, the wonders, uh, beholding the miracles and the signs
41:41which were done, you know, wandered simply means he was amazed watching this, you know, uh, but he's
41:48really, his heart wasn't right. Cause that's what he was following for signs and, and wonders just to
41:53look and see, to spectate. Uh, but it's okay. He got it together eventually. Now in Acts chapter
41:598, uh, verse 10, it says this to whom Simon, the sorcerer, they all gave heed. Now when he was
42:07doing
42:08all his sorcery, you know what people paid attention to people will follow. If you, you know, you get
42:15their interest, you captivate their attention. And you, you read this chapter eight, I've got all a bunch
42:21of different, you know, points that I, you know, wrote out there, but it'd be, do you good to just
42:26read the whole chapter that chapter eight and see exactly because he's a sorcerer and he's doing all
42:32the, he's entertaining people. People will be attracted to entertainment. Scripture says they
42:37all gave heed, you know, from the least to the greatest saying this man is the great power of God.
42:43That's exactly what religion does. It has folks so focused on a person rather than the king
42:51and kingdom is saying, uh, that shouldn't be your purpose, your focus. Uh, remember we talked about
42:58Paul and he was saying, I thank God I was, I didn't baptize any of you because what they were
43:04going
43:04around to new believers. Now we're name dropping, you know, I'm under Apollos and the other ones when I'm
43:10under Paul and they were making, and he says, you have all things. Why are you making a big deal
43:15over
43:15a person when you have the same thing? This is what religion does to this day. People will flock
43:22after one person, not realizing you need to be seeking, flocking after pursuing the kingdom of God,
43:31that they don't have anything that you can't obtain and get it yourself. But if they captivate you
43:36under the spirit of religion and have you seeking after them instead of the kingdom, yeah, then so be
43:44it. There you go. But this, then this is what Simon, this, you know, sorcerer had did, you know,
43:50they said to him, they had regard because that, you know, of a long time he had watched the word
43:57that they use. He had bewitched them. That is a spirit of religion. I know this is hard because all
44:04you've known is religion. I told you it was all going on when we got here. This stuff was already
44:09set in place and we came into it. And I'm saying, okay, when you know better, you do better. And
44:17I'm
44:17telling you, God, it's not all about this religiosity and all of this being attention to one person acting
44:24like they got something that you don't have the same blood that, you know, bought and saved them.
44:29Again, it did the exact same thing for you, but it's all according to where your focus is. If that's
44:35what you focus on, then that's what you're going to get. But the truth of the matter is, you know,
44:41religion is like a spell. When I heard the late, great Dr. Miles Monroe began to teach about that
44:47spirit of religion, it was a shock to me because I'd never heard it that way. I said, how could
44:52that
44:52be right? Well, because that's all you knew. That's all I knew. And he's saying, look at how many times
44:58Jesus goes into the realm of teaching kingdom. He says, how is it that we can preach Jesus and not
45:06preach what Jesus preached? It made so much sense. And the more you seek it, it'll make sense. You'll
45:12see it for yourself. Eventually, like I said, seek him for yourself. Don't not because I said so,
45:17but because the word of God is there and it's for you. So like sorcery, religion markets itself.
45:25And usually it's through a person and, you know, just the opposite. Kingdom exalts the king,
45:34King Jesus. Acts 8 and 12 says, but when they believed Philip, because Philip just kept on,
45:42he stayed the course. He never got distracted. So they believe Philip's preaching the things
45:48concerning the kingdom of God over and over again. I told you that word had become so common.
45:53It was hidden in plain sight and people just weren't getting it. Like I said, when they do mention it,
45:58it's in a, you know, in the category or lens of a religious mindset rather than the mentality of the
46:06kingdom itself. But he kept preaching and he kept preaching the kingdom and what, and what, and the name
46:12of Jesus, which we looked through that last week for Pentecost on Sunday. He was preaching the kingdom
46:19of God and the name of Jesus Christ. And they were baptized both men and women. Why? Because they
46:26were being transformed. They were, and it says again, that would, they were joy. They were joy. They
46:31received it. So then Simon, the sorcerer himself was amazed. And so what was ungodly and fake
46:41finally encountered what was authentic and real. And that's, what's going to happen as each of us
46:48begin to embrace the kingdom and renounce spirits of religion and all of this religiosity that has
46:56held and bound up God's people. You'll see the difference for yourself. That's why he said,
47:01you have to seek ye. You seek for yourself. Seek first the kingdom. If you don't put God first,
47:09you're going to always come up last. Start putting him first and see the great turnaround that will
47:13take place. You know, at first upon his conversation, Simon, the sorcerer sought to purchase it. He
47:20think, well, let me buy, I want to buy this. I'll give you money for this. Acts 8 and 19.
47:25And I'm reading
47:26the passion translation. He says, I want this power too. I'm willing to pay you for this anointing
47:36that you have so that I also can lay my hands on everybody to receive the Holy Spirit. And so
47:44he's
47:45trying to pay for something that only comes from God. Believing unto conversion must also convert the
47:54behavior. So Simon had believed he was baptized. He, you know, he, he did what it took and he was,
48:00and he received the Holy Spirit, but see, there had to be a transformation. Okay. And so many people,
48:08that's why I say they stopped at the church situation and don't go any further. Now, Simon,
48:14yeah, he messing up. He want to try and buy it and so on and so forth. And of course,
48:18Peter, you know,
48:19he rebuked him, but he also taught him and made him understand what he needed to do. All right.
48:24And so then he says, um, believing onto conversion, when you believe onto, there's gotta be a
48:31transformation. I always say people stop. Okay. Thank God you got saved. That's beautiful.
48:38But there are many things that we need to be delivered from. We need to be set free from.
48:45It's like an unto, uh, the Israelites, you know, coming out of Egypt. And, you know, the scripture
48:54says, whom the son says free is free indeed. Well, that indeed is where people don't realize it. Yes,
49:02you can get free. When Israel came out of Egypt, they were free. But until the enemy, Pharaoh was
49:11drowned in all his armies, you know, then they were really indeed free where they could seek God for
49:18themselves. When you lose yourself from the traditions and, and religious stuff, the Bible
49:24says that Jesus said, your traditions have made the word of God of none effect. Think about that.
49:30You know, when you get loose from all that old religious tradition, then you are free indeed.
49:36And I believe many from this message of the kingdom are getting free indeed. And that's the whole idea
49:43of it. Because when you believe onto conversion, your behavior will change. Your motives will change.
49:50You know, Simon attempted to purchase, you know, this majestic power of God almighty that he saw and
49:57was impressed with because kingdom brings results. It brings evidence. Holy spirit is not a product to be
50:05purchased. He is the governor of the kingdom of God. The royal gift from heaven. Government here in the
50:13earth comes through us. And people are going to rejoice and be glad for this message when we really get
50:20serious and start preaching it and teaching it and making people know, you know, that yes, you've
50:26started here at the church. Beautiful. Thank God for salvation. Thank God for Jesus. But now it's time to
50:33mature, to grow, to start walking in those things that you've been reading all these years. These signs
50:40shall follow them, not him, not somebody with a title, not someone with credentials only, but these signs
50:47shall follow them, them who, them that believe in my name, they shall cast out devils. They shall speak
50:55with tongues. This is the word of God. People read it for yourself. Glory to God. The Holy Spirit is
51:03the
51:03administrator of the territory in the hearts of God's citizens of the kingdom. And that's why it's
51:10necessary to be filled with him. My prayer daily is spirit of living God be magnified in me. Take up
51:17residence. Okay? Fill every space. Leave no, you know, empty spaces. Leave no vacancies. Praise God. And that's a
51:28daily prayer. And I'm telling you, when you invite him, he will. He will do just that. You cannot buy
51:35a government,
51:37okay? In this natural world system, maybe you can, but not in the kingdom of God. Okay? In fact, money
51:44is, it's not even,
51:45it can't even equal a tip when you're dealing with the realm of the kingdom. Acts 8 and 20, Peter
51:52rebuked Simon the
51:54sorcerer and said, your money will go with you to your own destruction, you know, unless you change. Wake up,
52:01understand
52:01what you're doing, dude. That's not the way it works. All right? And so that 20th verse, it says, because
52:09you thought you
52:10could purchase the gift of God, Simon, you sorcerer. Repent, you gall of bitterness. Peter was a rough
52:19dude. You know, he says, repent, you gall of bitterness, you bond of iniquity. So he really did
52:28rebuke him and set it straight. Peter spoke, what? As a representative of the government. You know,
52:33he had the power and the authority to do that. He did not negotiate. He legislates. That's who you are.
52:42You don't negotiate with people because they're not comfortable around you or they don't like
52:46something the way you are or, you know, that's, that's their problem. That's not your problem.
52:51I said before, listen, you don't have to explain yourself. God didn't call you to be explaining to
52:56people. He called you to express his words. That's what you do. You know, God is not in show business
53:02to entertain and keep people, you know, interested, you know, no, no, none of that. God runs a
53:09government, you know, not, not, not showtime. Mark chapter seven and verse eight, I'm reading in
53:16the NIV Mark chapter seven and verse eight. He says, you have let go of the commands of God
53:25and are holding on to your human traditions. Again, that's the, now that was Jesus. He was making
53:34it very clear that you have absolutely nullified the word and things are not working. Saints,
53:41could we just be real? Come on. Now, a lot of this word is not working in our life. Cause
53:46as I said
53:47before I continue to say, you can't have one foot in religion, Christianity, and all this little
53:54stuff, it sounds so nice, but it was named by the devil himself through a bunch of pagans who were
54:00idol worshipers. And when they saw the believers doing great things and going forth, they said
54:05they called them Christians first at Antioch. Okay. They, who, the pagans, the devil worshipers.
54:13Can we just get some clarity here so that you can feel free to loose yourself in Jesus name
54:20and start manifesting what you read, start having results, have some evidence. So it's not all talk.
54:28The kingdom of God is not all talk. It's about power and demonstration. My time is up and I got
54:34to
54:34stop right here, but we will continue with that. We come together there at kingdom connection and we
54:41will continue in the word of God, whatever he gives me. That's what we will go forth with,
54:45with power and demonstration. And yes, people are getting free. They are getting delivered
54:50and they're asking questions and they're finally starting to wake up. Thank God for the word of
54:56God. Father, in the name of Jesus, we speak blessings and power and demonstration over your people,
55:02over every minister, every woman of God, every man of God, every son and every daughter,
55:07every husband and every wife. God, this power is manifest in them for your glory,
55:13that it be in earth as it is in heaven. We thank you for it in advance. We call it
55:18done
