00:00For a long period of time, you don't feel like the character.
00:03You know, you kind of feel a bit like a fraud.
00:05Thank you very much. Cheers.
00:06Hey, how you doing?
00:07All good. How you feeling today?
00:08Fantastic. So good.
00:09Look at your face all over these posters over here.
00:11How does that feel today?
00:12It's a little bit strange.
00:14I mean, I used to work at a frozen yogurt store
00:18literally about 100 feet down that way.
00:21And so just being here with my movie is just very surreal.
00:26And look at us now, yogurt store.
00:27I know. I know.
00:28I love hearing about all the preparation.
00:30Obviously, you guys had to do for this.
00:32You got in shape.
00:34Obviously, it's a very slow process.
00:35Yeah.
00:35How long into it?
00:36Do you check yourself in the mirror and think,
00:38oh, look at him. He's He-Man.
00:39You know, that's a very interesting point,
00:41because unlike He-Man, you know,
00:43I don't get to just raise a sword and transform.
00:46And really, for a long period of time,
00:49you don't feel like the character.
00:51You know, you kind of feel a bit like a fraud.
00:53And then, you know, you start the cutting process
00:55and all of the sort of the muscles kind of come into definition.
00:59And really, you know,
01:01it wasn't until I went on set for the first time as He-Man
01:04and I spoke to Travis, who was just very overwhelmed.
01:08And, you know, our producers have had the rights
01:11to tell this story for 18 years.
01:12So this has been 18 years in the making.
01:14And we kind of we all had a very sort of emotional moment.
01:17And that kind of solidified it for me.
01:19I love hearing about, obviously,
01:20it was an arduous journey to prepare for this as well.
01:22What's the difference between Nicholas before He-Man
01:24and the Nicholas we are meeting today?
01:26Look, truthfully, I think it sounds very cliche,
01:31but just the knowingness that I could do it,
01:35because, you know, you get given this incredible responsibility.
01:38And, you know, you're assigned a trainer,
01:41a chef, a nutritionist,
01:43and you just have to kind of trust in the process.
01:45And, like you say, it's a long...
01:47It's not something that happens quickly.
01:48And so just trusting that I was going to get there
01:51and, you know, if we're lucky enough to keep making these movies,
01:54then, yeah, I know I can do it.
01:57Thank you, Scorsair. Congratulations.
01:59Appreciate that, mate. Thank you so much.
