00:01Joshua Jones from The Sun. Question for Dean, please.
00:04In an era of discontent and disconnection between a lot of footballers and a lot of fan bases,
00:11you've obviously got a really special connection with the Crystal Palace fans.
00:15We've seen that particularly after the second leg.
00:17Just talk me through a little bit about that connection that you have with the Satterlice Park fans in particular,
00:22and also therefore what it would mean as club captain to follow Declan Rice and Rhys James
00:27as your England teammates in lifting that trophy tomorrow night.
00:31Yeah, I think firstly the connection with the supporters.
00:35It's an honour to have really.
00:37But I also think the team's got a special connection with the supporters.
00:40And when I joined the football club, I felt like that was distant.
00:43I don't think that was in place.
00:45And it's good to see since the managers came in, we've built that before with the supporters
00:49because I think it's important.
00:51And they can really help us tomorrow night again like they did in the previous big games.
00:55And yeah, obviously it would be a huge honour.
00:59But ultimately I've got to focus on the process and not the outcome at this moment in time.
01:04But yeah, just a lot of excitement, looking forward to the game really.
01:08Thank you.
01:08If we can pass it behind you, please.
01:10Thank you.
01:11Thank you.
01:12We go to this gentleman.
01:13Can you pass it forward, please?
01:14Pass the mic forward to the gentleman in the white.
01:18Thank you.
01:20Good afternoon.
01:21Radek Sedlmayr, Czech Republic.
01:23Question for Dean.
01:25You've been one of the team's leaders on the way to the final.
01:28So I would like to ask, what's your role in the dressing room before a big game like this?
01:35Because if there is someone who makes jokes or who is a serious person or if it's you.
01:41Thanks a lot.
01:42No, I think all the boys are pretty calm.
01:45We've been here before.
01:46We know what it takes.
01:48So everyone's calm within the dressing room.
01:50Come tomorrow night, we'll obviously be focused.
01:52But we'll just be excited to get out there and show what we can do.
01:56OK, thank you.
01:58There's one at the back there, the gentleman with his hand up.
02:00Talk Sports.
02:01Question for Dean.
02:01I noticed you were smiling when your manager was going on about how he doesn't want the players saying yes,
02:06yes, yes all the time.
02:07I wondered if you had any kind of interaction with him like that or any stories relating to that that
02:13made you smile during that.
02:14And also, how much are you going to miss the manager?
02:17Yeah, no, it'll be a huge miss.
02:18I think he knows that.
02:21From yesterday, the players did a send-off video to him.
02:24They spoke from the heart.
02:27Yeah, and the reason I was laughing is because I would never cross him, to be honest.
02:30So I don't know why he was saying that.
02:33So, yeah.
02:35Thank you, Andy.
02:36Andrew McSteen, New Shopper.
02:38Question to Oliver or Dean as captain.
02:40How important was it that Cech and Eddie were in the travelling squad?
02:45What does it mean for them to be part of it and for you guys to have them here with
02:49you?
02:49And the last training session at Beckenham today, I guess, was emotional as well.
02:53Thank you.
02:55Yeah, I think it's great to have the boys with us.
02:57They've worked so hard throughout the season.
02:59They've had setbacks.
03:00And it's difficult.
03:02We live the pain with them as well.
03:04And it'll be great for them to be in and around it tomorrow night.
03:07And hopefully we can give them something to celebrate.
03:11Kit.
03:14Oh, sorry.
03:15No, it's too soon.
03:16Okay.
03:17Hi, Oliver.
03:29Hi, Oliver.
