It happened near an apartment building in the Hollywood Hills, California, USA. Diana Domna from Los Angeles recorded the frightening scene outside her home while emergency crews worked through the night to stop the fire from spreading.
The footage shows smoke and flames burning close to nearby homes as firefighters battled the blaze under the dark sky.
She said: “Seeing a fire this close to my home broke my heart.
"I’m feeling grateful for all the efforts firefighters are making to keep us safe.”
