00:00There's this subscriber who left a comment under one of my videos to tell me his story
00:03And I must admit that it affected me so deeply that I simply wanted to share it with you.
00:06I had been suffering from severe depression and post-traumatic stress since I was 12 years old.
00:10because of a violent family throughout my childhood.
00:12Beatings, insults, humiliations, they threw me out onto the street at 18 years old in the middle of December.
00:16I ended up with two measly bags of clothes, wandering the streets.
00:19I finally found a place to live, but what's the point when you find yourself without family, without friends, without
00:23A project, without anything?
00:24My self-esteem and confidence were shattered, I was desperate, I've never felt so
00:28alone.
00:28How are we supposed to move forward when literally everything that made up another person collapses?
00:32I ended up in a psychiatric hospital for several weeks; I built walls around myself.
00:36And then one of the few friends I had left told me that we could remake the world with
00:39only two bags
00:40especially if I was the one holding them.
00:42I met with my psychologist, I made the choice to at least try to move forward.
00:45I found a job, I continued my therapy, I met people, I dared to ask for
00:49help wherever I could find it.
00:51Today I have a new circle of Amini; little by little I have replaced my walls with bridges.
00:55I made progress.
00:56I know it's hard, it sometimes seems insurmountable and we very often feel like giving up.
01:00It takes time, it requires energy.
01:02But you are not alone.
