00:01Alex Tauscher really wants to win
00:04the race, but he needs
00:06to just make sure he can stay on
00:08the podium, because that is going to be
00:10valuable points. Marcus Armand
00:12still under pressure from Keegan Masters
00:14you see, taking the different
00:16lines into turn 3, Masters
00:18briefly looking down low, then going up
00:20high, but Joe Warhurst in 6th
00:22place. He will be ready to pounce
00:24if these cars get together.
00:26Joe, his best finish has been a 5th
00:28place so far now. Who's that?
00:30That's into the gravel. I think it's Max
00:32Mutschlechner. Yes, it is. So Max
00:34Mutschlechner has been into
00:36Oh, and that's Zuren Spring as well.
00:38This is going to bring out a certain
00:40safety car. So that's out of Tarzan
00:42Box. So Zuren Spring and
00:44Max Mutschlechner have clearly
00:46got together. We are at the
00:481 3rd point of the race. Good to see Zuren
00:50Spring emerging from the car, but there's clearly
00:52been a big impact there.
00:54So, this is going
00:56to almost certainly, well definitely
00:58I'd say bring out a safety
01:00car. And it's Michael Essman who got into
01:02both of them and
01:04heavy impact into the
01:06barrier. Max Mutschlechner
01:09getting up onto two wheels
01:10almost an up and over
01:12and I fear there may be
01:14some barrier damage here. This might
01:16even go to a red flag and
01:18we're still green at the moment.
01:20But, the Pro-Am
01:22Championship leader and the rookie
01:24Max Mutschlechner, good to see
01:26Max out of the car as
01:28well. They build him safe at
01:30Porsche. Right, well we are safety car
01:32at the moment. And we
01:34look nervously at the
01:36screens because
01:38if the barrier's damaged we may
01:40well get a stoppage. Good to see
01:42Zuren Spring just getting checked
01:44over at the side of the track.
01:47Well, safety
01:48car is out at the moment.
01:50We are running a little bit behind
01:51schedule here
01:52already. Today
01:54we've had a number of stoppages.
01:56We have one in DTM Qualy this
01:58morning. We had another one
02:00in Benelux Qualy this morning.
02:02So, the cars are coming past
02:04the scene of the crime
02:05very, very slowly.
02:07We will see what occurs
02:09there. But the best news of all
02:11is that Max Mutschlechner
02:13and Zuren Spring are out
02:15of the cars and look to be
02:17okay. Well, there's Zuren on
02:18the right-hand side of the
02:19picture now walking back to
02:21the pits. But the
02:22Championship leader will be
02:24scoring no points from this
02:26race, the Pro-Am
02:28Championship leader. So it was
02:29Michael Essman on the inside
02:31of both of them, Max
02:33Mutschlechner. Wow, that was
02:35dramatic indeed.
02:37I'd say actually the catch
02:39fencing took more of a hit than
02:41the actual barrier did. I
02:43should think that Max will be
02:44looking for a pilot's license
02:45after this. He gets launched
02:47up through the gravel trap.
02:49Then that heavy impact
02:50barrier did take a big hit.
02:52And the various bits of
02:54gantry are rammed. And that's
02:57an awful lot of damage to both
02:58car and circuit. And I should
03:01think both Max and Zuren's
03:03car is going to take on. We
03:05thought this might be the
03:06case. The red flag is
03:08out. This may be
03:10a go and make a cup of tea
03:12moment here because
03:13as Max getting out of the
03:15car, the barrier
03:16I think is going to need to
03:18be repaired
03:21because safety
03:22is the most important
03:24thing of all here.
03:28And
03:29the trucks will come. Cars can
03:31be removed fairly quickly, but
03:33they'll need to get that barrier
03:34in some way sorted. Max
03:36looking
03:38disconsolately at
03:39the car. He is a great
03:41driver, a really welcome
03:43addition. He's in the rookie
03:44standings. He's been shown as
03:46German. He is actually
03:48Italian.
03:49And he says, even though
03:51Mutzlechner is a very
03:52German-sounding name, he's
03:54said, I'm going to get that
03:55flag changed before the end of
03:56the season. He was in
03:58Porsche Cruel Cup Middle East
04:00over the winter, finished
04:01seventh in the shortened
04:03championship, was the
04:05winner of the Open GT
04:08class in last year's Porsche
04:10Sprint Challenge Suisse. And
04:12a real up-and-coming
04:13talent. He's one of the
04:15talent pool drivers who
04:18are coached primarily by
04:21Lupo Wolf-Hensler, who does
04:24a great job with the eight
04:25talent pool drivers. Zurun
04:27Spring, something of a
04:28veteran here. Look at the
04:29rear wing on his car. That
04:31has been properly chopped. So
04:35Zurun Spring, he has been in
04:38this series for a very long
04:40time. I'm just looking to see
04:41how many races. I'd like to
04:43say I'm doing this from
04:43memory.
04:44three but this-
04:44up-and-comingक-one.
