00:00Good morning. I'm T.J. McGovern, Interim Fire Chief for Orange County Fire Authority, and this morning I'm here with
00:05our incident commander, Chief Craig Covey.
00:07We're going to give you a brief updating about our mission that we had last night.
00:12We are happy to report that the threat of a blevy is now off the table.
00:17That threat has been eliminated, and I'll give it to Chief Covey for more information.
00:22Thank you, Chief. He's 100% right. We have eliminated the threat of a blevy.
00:27Our members went into that exclusion zone again to validate what we were seeing and get those temperatures.
00:34The crack is there. We have verified that it's there, and the tank has released its pressure.
00:40Additionally to that, the temperature has been stabilized and actually reducing.
00:46It is currently 93 degrees, down from 100 degrees.
00:50That is incredibly positive news as we turn the corner on this incident and reduce those first two options and
00:58mitigate this incident.
