The Day of Arafah is the 9th of Dhul Hijjah and the pinnacle of Hajj. The Prophet Muhammad SAW said that fasting on this day expiates the sins of the previous year and the coming year for those not performing Hajj.

It is the day when Allah freed the most people from Hellfire and when He perfected the religion of Islam.
