Love for homeland is from fitrah. Every person feels connected to the land they grew up in.

When the Prophet ﷺ left Makkah, he turned back and said: "By Allah, you are the most beloved land to me. And if your people had not expelled me, I would not have left."

*WHAT ISLAM TEACHES ABOUT LOVE OF COUNTRY:*

*1. It Is Natural*
Allah created us in nations. "O mankind, indeed We have made you nations and tribes that you may know one another." [Surah Al-Hujurat 49:13]
Loving your country is not against Islam.

*2. It Is Proven By Actions*
Real patriotism is not only words. It is work.
- Be honest in your profession
- Do not waste public property
- Help the poor in your city
- Keep your surroundings clean

*3. It Has Limits*
Allah and His Messenger come first.
"If your fathers, your sons, your brothers... are more beloved to you than Allah and His Messenger... then wait until Allah brings His command." [Surah At-Tawbah 9:24]

We love our country because Muslims live there.
We serve it as an act of ibadah.

*3 WAYS TO SERVE YOUR NATION IN ISLAM:*
1. *Ihsan In Work* - Whatever your job is, do it with excellence. Teacher, engineer, farmer, officer. This is worship.
2. *Follow The Law* - Obey rulers in good. Prophet ﷺ said: "Hear and obey."
3. *Spread Goodness* - Give sadaqah, unite people, stop injustice, make dua.

*THE ISLAMIC BALANCE:*
Allah > Deen > Ummah > Country > Family > Self

Nationalism without Allah becomes pride.
Islam without concern for people becomes weak.

The middle path: Benefit others. "The best of people are those who benefit others."

1. *For Safety* - Allahumma ij'al baladana aminan
2. *For Justice* - Ya Allah send us leaders who fear You
3. *For Barakah* - In wealth, water and crops
4. *For Unity* - Remove hatred and division
