02:35We welcome you live to Las Vegas, Nevada, the entertainment and fight capital of the world.
02:41Tonight marks the much anticipated return of UFC BJJ and the face of the organization, Mikey Buscemecci, putting his belt
02:49on the line.
02:50We will also see the first title defense in the women's bantamweight division as a late replacement could add a
02:56level of excitement to the mix.
02:58Get ready to watch some of the best grapplers from around the world because it's time to roll inside the
03:04bowl.
03:07Thanks for joining us live on YouTube from the meta apex.
03:29We welcome you inside the bowl.
03:32All back again excited with my guys.
03:35He is Michael Chiesa.
03:36He is Dean Thomas.
03:37And I am John Schriften.
03:39I am so excited for tonight because with each UFC BJJ show, it is proving that grappling can become a
03:46mainstream spectator sport by increasing the action and encouraging nonstop submission hunting.
03:52What is unique about the event tonight, not only do we have two championship belts on the line, we've also
03:59seen multiple competitors have to be replaced due to injury to showing how deep this roster is right now.
04:06Guys, this could be a very fun but also unpredictable night here tonight.
04:10That's what makes it more fun.
04:12But what I love about tonight is there is a promotion called CFFC on the East Coast.
04:17Mr. Rob Haydack has sent some of the best fighters from CFFC into the octagon, the likes of Aljamain Sterling,
04:25Joe Piper, Sean Brady, Paul Felder.
04:28The list goes on and on.
04:29Well, he also has a grappling promotion, and he has sent two of his best to compete inside the bowl
04:35tonight.
04:36And one of them will be taking on Mikey.
04:38So big shout out to my boy Rob and everybody over at CFFC.
04:41Let's go.
04:42Mike, I'm with you on the CFFC plug.
04:44Look, obviously, there's a lot of fresh faces tonight, but it's the two title fights that really has me excited.
04:51Anytime you get Mikey Musumeci and Cassie Amorov and watch them perform at the level that they operate, it's spectacular.
04:58All right, you talked about the card we have tonight.
05:00Let's take a look at the entire card here for UFC BJJ 8.
05:05Our main event, it is headline deemed by the return of Mikey Musumeci.
05:10And Mikey Musumeci is an absolute superstar, and for good reason, because this guy, he is a once-in-a
05:18-generation type talent, and his talent is undeniable.
05:22When you think about the way he operates, he is an amazing competitor.
05:26Look at this work that he does against Shane Montague.
05:28Put him on a cutting board.
05:29Dice him.
05:30Kevin Carasto.
05:31Put him on a barbecue.
05:33Fried him.
05:34This guy, when he goes out there and he gets to do his work, he's so creative.
05:37He's so innovative.
05:39Look, that's the Mikey lock.
05:40He makes up his own moves.
05:41Very difficult to deal with him.
05:43He's going to be exciting and very difficult to pry that belt from his hands.
05:47The challenger is Kevin Dantzler.
05:49And Michael, he told us he's got something special for the champ.
05:52He believes he can pull off the win.
05:54Well, they touched about it in the open, how he made waves in the sport of MMA and jiu-jitsu
05:59when he took out Aljamain Sterling and Marab Devalishvili.
06:02But when you talk about his grappling skills, he is such a fast starter.
06:06He is very explosive.
06:07He's got a lot of submissions under his belt that are in less than a minute.
06:10And he's got a devastating leg lock game.
06:12And when we talk to him in the fighter meetings, he says he has a layered game plan as to
06:17how he's going to defeat Mikey.
06:19And it's one thing to just say it.
06:21But it's another thing when someone says it with conviction.
06:24Kevin Dantzler believes he's going to walk out of this bowl tonight with Mikey's belt.
06:28All right.
06:28Let's also take a look at our co-made event.
06:31It is going to be the first title defense in the women's bantamweight division for Kasia Mora.
06:35But due to an injury, she's going to face a late replacement, a new opponent for her tonight.
06:40For more on that, we're going to welcome in Mackenzie Pavicich.
06:43Thank you so much, John.
06:44Well, ahead of what is set to be her first title defense in the bantamweight division, as you mentioned, Kasia
06:49Mora finds herself in a position she always envisioned she'd be in.
06:53The 20-year-old told me that from a very young age, she always felt different but capable of accomplishing
06:58whatever it was that she set her mind to.
07:00Now, she's carried that confidence with her mentally throughout her jiu-jitsu career, but we've also seen it manifest physically
07:06on the mat.
07:07The Brazilian has gone perfect in her five previous showings under the UFC banner, but it's this slot tonight that
07:13has the champ chomping at the bit to earn her first finish inside the bowl.
07:18And while a statement win is on her mind so Kasia can make a call for a belt in her
07:23native flyweight division, she first has to get through the UFC BJJ's newest challenger in Sabrina Gondim.
07:29And stepping in on less than two weeks' notice was a decision that came with zero hesitation from Gondim.
07:35The Brazilian told me that she doesn't just train to be ready for anything that could come her way, but
07:39instead trains so that she can capitalize on any opportunity that's in front of her.
07:44Now, that philosophy can also be applied to the 27-year-old's jiu-jitsu style, which she classified to me
07:50as aggressive, intense, and all of the makings for a perfect matchup in tonight's co-main event.
07:55Guys, she also feels this will be the best opportunity to introduce herself to the Vantamweight division.
08:01Oh, we cannot wait, Mackenzie. Thank you so much.
08:05If you are new to UFC BJJ, let's get you caught up to speed.
08:08We will have three judges scoring this bout.
08:11It is a 10-point much scoring system, just like a regular UFC match.
08:14The bout duration, we will have three five-minute rounds.
08:17We have seen fatigue come into play.
08:20There is no striking, no eye-couching, no hair-pulling.
08:23You pull guard, you have got to be able to initiate action with your opponent.
08:27It is going to be fun.
08:28Those are the judging score criteria.
08:30Initiation of a bout-ending technique, that is number one.
08:33If we do not see any of the top ones, we go to control to determine a winner.
08:39All right, UFC BJJ newcomers meet in the middleweight matchup
08:43as Kazakhstan's Azamat Makoya faces off against Australia's Thomas David.
08:49We take a look at the tail of the tape.
08:52It is David, the younger of the two.
08:55We have Kazakhstan going up against Australia.
08:58Let's get this one started.
09:00Justin Bernard, it's all yours.
09:03Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to UFC BJJ 8,
09:08Musumechi versus Dantzler.
09:11Live from Meta Apex, Las Vegas, Nevada.
09:15Now streaming on UFC BJJ YouTube and broadcasting around the world.
09:22Our first match is scheduled for three rounds in the middleweight division.
09:27Introducing to you first in the blue corner,
09:30weighing in at 185 pounds,
09:33out of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia,
09:38Thomas Tomega.
09:41David.
09:44And now introducing his opponent in the red corner
09:47with an official weight of 184 pounds,
09:51out of Almaty, Kazakhstan,
09:55Azamat Bakhita.
09:59And when the action begins,
10:00your referee in charge,
10:01Vitor Shaolin-Hibero.
10:06Are you ready?
10:08Are you ready?
10:09Let's fight.
10:11Match one of the night as Thomas David wearing the blue
10:14and Azamat Bakhita from Kazakhstan wearing the black and the red.
10:19Michael, let's get this thing started.
10:21What are you looking for early on in this first round?
10:23Well, early on, I'm looking for the takedowns from Bakhita,
10:26obviously coming from the eastern block.
10:28This is a guy that's got incredible wrestling, good high-low takedowns,
10:31and he likes to operate from the front headlock.
10:34He very much grapples like an MMA fighter,
10:36and that makes sense because he's 9-0 as a pro in fighting.
10:40So expect to see him grapple much like you would expect an MMA grappler to.
10:44Dean, this is the debut for both of these competitors,
10:48and some of them, it's a new format for them.
10:50Three five-minute rounds as we're seeing them feel each other out here to get this one started.
10:55Yeah, they're both new here, and that's a lot to take in for both guys.
10:59But for Thomas David, he's familiar with the organization
11:02because he coaches some fighters that fight in the UFC.
11:05So he's been in the area, in the environment of the UFC.
11:09But for Azaman, this is all brand new to him.
11:11So it'll be interesting to see how he approaches that.
11:19Thomas David in the blue was actually a former MMA fighter himself.
11:22He made his pro debut when he was 18 years old.
11:25Growing up in Australia, grew up boxing, kickboxing, MMA, Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
11:32At times in the past, Bakhtar could be, tend to be a little bit of a slow starter.
11:38So sometimes it takes him a few rounds to get going, but you only have three rounds.
11:41So you've got to get on the gas early, and you can't fall behind.
11:44Yeah, I mean, you've got to realize, like, you'd have three rounds,
11:47but each round is scored independently.
11:49So that's three different matches.
11:51And I expected this to be a heavy wrestling match
11:53because both of them seem to come from the, again,
11:56and now we see the break here about the action.
11:58The action.
11:58Fight!
12:00Let's go. Come on.
12:03There's that smash single from Bakhtar.
12:08And immediately, as I would expect, he's going to that body lock.
12:12See, now that was a mistake because it looked like Bakhtar just willingly went back into the guard.
12:16Now that's a mistake because you'd only get credit for attempts to pass
12:21and attempts for submission.
12:22And there's nothing good going to happen from inside the closed guard.
12:25And he had a great opportunity when Thomas Davis had double butterfly hooks.
12:29He could have used that body lock to start to pass.
12:31Right.
12:31He had a good body lock pass waiting for him to attempt,
12:36but he willingly went back into the guard.
12:38Again, that could be nerves.
12:39You know, first time in the UFC, want to be a little apprehensive,
12:42don't want to make mistakes,
12:43but that's not the mentality that you've got to have in a match like this.
12:46And I like what Bakhtar is doing right now is as he's sitting in the top half guard,
12:50he's keeping his head on the chin of Thomas David,
12:53and he's keeping his hips low and back.
12:54He's taking away the space that Thomas David needs to roll underneath and get to the legs.
12:59It's Bob Cook talking about it.
13:02But he's just got to get really busy with his passing attempts.
13:05There he goes now.
13:06I like this.
13:07He can try to crawl up into the mountain.
13:10He lost the hips of David.
13:13I've noticed watching Asma Bakhtar that he likes that shallow mountain.
13:17He'll sit in the back and try to trap your wrist.
13:19He'll slowly climb up your body to get to a higher mount.
13:21So expect him at times, if he gets back to that position,
13:24to sit back in that shallow mountain, just cover the legs.
13:30Yeah, I love the fact that Shaolin is calling him out early on the passivity.
13:35You don't want to allow these competitors to get too comfortable.
13:41You don't want them to get too comfortable.
13:42They've got to stay moving.
13:44They've got to stay active.
13:49And I like what Thomas David's doing right now.
13:51Thomas David, excuse me.
13:53He's trying to snap at the hands of Asma Bakhtar.
13:56So Asma's trying to come in hard with the clubs,
13:59trying to snap the hands off him and get him out of position
14:01so he can shoot a takedown of his own.
14:05You saw David take that takedown attempt,
14:08and Basma immediately looking for that front headlock.
14:11Wasn't able to get it, but we know what his intention is.
14:13Yes.
14:18Asma Bakhtar in the black and the red.
14:19But he is also a former MMA competitor.
14:22Nine and O as a professional MMA fighter.
14:25His last fight was back in 2023.
14:29Dean, how can that play into this, both of these guys, former MMA fighters?
14:32Well, it plays into your aggression, and that's really what you want.
14:36When you're an MMA fighter, you're thinking offense, you're thinking be aggressive.
14:40And that's the mentality you've got to have in this format of grappling.
14:44A lot of grappling organizations, when it's point-based in terms of points per moves,
14:49you can get points installed.
14:51As an MMA fighter, that's not the way you play.
14:54You play to do damage and dominate.
14:57And that's the mentality you've got to have inside the ball.
15:01And another thing you'll see from MMA fighters is a lot of scrambles.
15:04A lot of MMA fighters are willing to create scrambles, create some chaos,
15:08try to wear on your opponent.
15:12Final seconds here in this first round,
15:15our first match of the night in the middleweight division.
15:29Jason, can you hear me?
15:42Mike, I wish we could hear what they were saying.
15:44I know, right?
15:46Yeah.
15:47I know, right?
15:48Mostov's just doing a laugh.
15:56A little slow.
15:58Yeah.
16:01I don't know.

25:41Thomas David, 28 years old, from Australia, said he does a lot of coaching.
25:44And this was the first time in his life that he put everything on pause
25:48to be ready for this match because he knows how big of an opportunity he is.
25:53Let's see if he can dig down deep here as we approach two minutes to go in this final round.
26:02See, I like the pull here that Thomas David did, but I would have preferred him.
26:06He settled. He pulled and settled.
26:07I would have preferred him to stay active after that pull.
26:11Well, and he's been hand fighting with Azamat this whole match on the feet.
26:15So hand fight and maintain some sort of connection with your hands when you go to pull.
26:19Instead of just dropping to the legs, you want to maintain some sort of connection
26:22so then you can immediately start to get to your sweeps, start to get to your submissions.
26:27Instead, he's just pulling guard without any connection.
26:29Yeah, that connection will set you up for your next move
26:31as soon as your back or your hips hit the floor.
26:36Tommy, work. One and a half, Tommy. One and a half.
26:41Both corners urging these competitors to work under 90 seconds to go.
26:46Yes, Tommy. Yes.
26:49Legs, Tommy. Legs, legs. Work something.
26:51Tommy, you got that fast.
26:52Get that leg.
26:56And this, he's got a nice knee bar here, at least an attempt.
27:00And this might win him the round.
27:02Just at a leg lock attempt right there could possibly win him the round.
27:06Now he's got a lock on that outside 50-50.
27:19Remember, you do not get credit for defending.
27:22You have to make an offensive move in order to get credit from the judges.
27:34Yeah, I would think that if Bakatov had some leg lock attempts in his arsenal,
27:39it would be a little easier for him.
27:40But I think he's so wrestling-centric that it's a little difficult for him to keep his offense going.
27:47He does have that topside arm bar.
27:50He does like to kind of step over from his opponent's bottom half guard,
27:53step around and catch the legs.
27:54And he had a sequence there just moments ago where he could have attacked the leg,
27:58but he alluded to he just chose to stand back to his feet.
28:05That'll do it for the third and final round.
28:08Match number one of the night.
28:10This one is going to be very tough to decide.
28:14Well, neither guy can get upset if they lose.
28:17Because, unfortunately, it's my job to call it as I see it,
28:20and neither guy really exerted the effort to warrant the win.
28:25So you're just going to be left with your heart broken.
28:27I feel like both guys could have exerted more effort.
28:28They could have shown what they're really made of.
28:33Yeah, I got this.
28:35All right, let's look at some of this action from earlier in this match.
28:38Look at the snap down here from Azamut.
28:40Hand fighting here.
28:41Another collar tie from Thomas David.
28:43He pulls guard.
28:45But he lacks the connection when he goes down.
28:47Azamut did a good job of creating some separation there.
28:49Now we see a point deduction from Shaolin here.
28:57Another sequence here.
28:58Nice double leg from Azamut up against the ball, the ball wall.
29:03And now we see this knee bar attempt from Thomas David.
29:07Getting this 50-50 position on Azamut.
29:11Then just maneuvering around until he gets the knee bar situation going for him.
29:24Now this is very similar to Dana White's contender series.
29:27It's not good enough to just win.
29:28You have to put on a show.
29:30You have to put on a performance if you want to be invited back.
29:33And that's what these competitors have to remember as they enter the ball here tonight.
29:40Well, Thomas David looks really confident here.
29:45Judges are taking their time.
29:46As Thomas said, this one is going to be really tough to score.
29:49Both competitors were penalized.
29:54And we have a decision.
29:56Let's go to Justin Bernard.
30:23So, unfortunately, Justin Bernard's mark is not working,
30:25but it was a majority draw between Thomas David and Azamut Bakatov.
30:36All right.
30:37Coming up in our third match of the night,
30:39we have featherweights Landon Elmore and Keith Perkorian square off and about.
30:43That could end quick.
30:44Let's check in with our Kenzie, who caught up earlier with Perkorian.
30:48Presented by Dialed Last, the sauna that can change your weight class.
30:53Thanks so much, John.
30:54Well, Keith, it's been just under a year since we last saw you.
30:58So, what did you do in this camp and getting ready for this match that really kept you dialed in?
31:02Man, nothing out of the ordinary.
31:05I do my same thing.
31:07I'm just fueled by motivation and just proving that I'm the better grappler.
31:12I'm one of the best in the division.
31:13I'm one of the best in the world.
31:14And I'm really eager and excited to show everyone how good I am and prove that to everyone.
31:19What's the message you're hoping to send tonight?
31:21Yeah, stay tuned for a really exciting match.
31:23It's going to be all over the place.
31:25It's going to be exciting.
31:25And, you know, hopefully end in submission.
31:27Well, best of luck to you.
31:28We're so happy to have you back.
31:29And we can't wait to see it coming up later tonight.
31:31Thank you very much.

33:21Welcome back.
33:21We get ready for match number two tonight.
33:24Liam Trellinson looks to set the tone before his brother hits the UFC BJJ Bowl later in the night.
33:29But in order to fuse so, he'll have to get through former Division I wrestler and fellow first-timer Max
33:35Livingston.
33:36It is Trellinson from Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
33:39And Livingston from New Jersey.
33:44Excited to get this second one started.
33:46Let's go.
33:47Justin Bernard.
33:55Ladies and gentlemen, our next match is scheduled for three rounds in the welterweight division.
34:10Introducing to you first, in the blue corner, weighing in at 168.5 pounds, out of Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, USA,
34:21Max Livingston.
34:27And now, introducing his opponent in the red corner, with an official weight of 170 pounds, out of Austin, Texas,
34:36USA, Liam Crelinston.
34:44And when the action begins, your referee in charge, Jason Herzog.
34:50Blue, you ready?
34:51You ready?
34:51You ready?
34:52Start, start.
34:54All right.
34:55Match number two here in the welterweight division.
34:57Max Livingston in the black and the blue.
34:59Liam Crelinston.
35:01You've got to engage in order to pull guard here in the UFC BJJ.
35:06And that's exactly what Liam wants to do.
35:09He spoke about it openly in the fighter meeting, saying, look, you would think that since you train with your
35:13brother, your game would be very similar to his.
35:15It couldn't be any more opposite.
35:17He's the guy that loves to play the guard and loves to sweep and loves to attack leg locks.
35:22That's more of his style.
35:23I can't really allude to what Ethan Crelinston says what his style is, because I don't know if his opponent's
35:28listening to this broadcast in the back.
35:30So I've got to play my cards close to my chest here.
35:33But Max Livingston, D1 wrestler from Drexel, has that wrestler style, really good from the front headlock.
35:39He loves to pass from the outside.
35:43And that's exactly what Liam needs to do.
35:45He understands the assignment to slow down the speed of the wrestler in outside passing.
35:49He's got to maintain connections.
35:50And look at the way he's able to use that leg entry to get Max Livingston on his back.
35:55That's exactly what he said he was going to do in this match.
35:57Yeah, and this is the worst possible position for Livingston here to end up on his back in a situation
36:02like this.
36:02He's going to have to try to find a way to wrestle up without giving up his neck in the
36:06process.
36:07And he does a good job of that.
36:09Liam tried to play the bully, but Max back to his feet as they engage in the center of the
36:15bowl.
36:19Krelinston admitted to us.
36:20He said, I feel like my opponent is one-dimensional.
36:23He's a strong wrestler.
36:24He's going to go for that front headlock, so I have to avoid offering the head as much as possible
36:30here tonight.
36:31And look at the way that Liam used his feet-like hands.
36:34Just snatched the leg of Max Livingston with his feet and pulled it in.
36:39Look, it finds his way back on top.
36:42And for Liam, what an economical way to get on top.
36:47Wrestling and getting takedowns, it takes a lot of energy.
36:50And you can just see how effortless his guard is to sweep and get to top position.
36:54And him and his brother are two of the best guard passers in the game.
36:57Well, what he's doing is obviously, like, he's attacking a leg.
37:00And when Livingston tries to pull out, he just goes up with him and gets on top.
37:06Now, Dean, Livingston told us, round one, I feel like my opponent's going to be more technical.
37:11I have to get through round one because he feels like his grit and determination will help him with the
37:17energy in round two and three if we get there.
37:19Well, that's a pretty good way to look at it and a good philosophy.
37:22But it's very difficult, especially when you end up on your back.
37:25Because now he's not working as hard as you'd want him to be.
37:28So you want to be able to get him to work.
37:31And Liam is just doing a good job of dictating the pace at which this is going.
37:34And I know that was something that Max Livingston talked about.
37:37He wanted to be the one dictating the pace.
37:38But he's not exactly doing that right now.
37:42Oh, look at that beautiful half.
37:44Trellinston.
37:46That was in the full mount.
37:47And this is where he's going to, if he can maintain mount, he's going to try to get Max's arms
37:53above his head.
37:53So we can start attacking the arm triangle chokes.
38:00Look at that little misdirection.
38:02Looked like he was going to go for a leg drag on the right side.
38:05The misdirection goes the opposite direction.
38:08And now he's going to look to smash Max Livingston down.
38:11And while Max is good from the front headlock, so is Liam.
38:15So this is what we didn't see in the first match of the night, which you were asking for.
38:19Liam is actually going different directions to try to pass around the legs.
38:23He's exerting effort.
38:24He's exerting effort.
38:25He's trying to pass.
38:26He's trying to advance.
38:27We've already seen him get to side control and get to mount.
38:30And that's what we want to see.
38:32Well, he's utilizing all his angles in terms of that passing.
38:34He's standing up, giving himself enough space to where he can go left or right.
38:38And we've seen him even just dive into mount.
38:40So that's exactly what we want to see.
38:44Now, look, he's got that.
38:45He's going for that.
38:48He's got the gift wrap right now.
38:50Sliding the leg over.
38:51Maybe looking for a chair sit here.
38:55Back to full mount.
38:57A dominant position for Liam Krellinson.
39:01But we're seeing the strength of Max Livingston continuing to fight out of tough positions.
39:06Well, you know what it is?
39:07It's not necessarily the strength.
39:09It's the economy of Krellinson.
39:11Krellinson's not generally fighting that mount as hard as he can.
39:15But again, he's allowing Max Livingston to utilize his energy.
39:19So while Livingston wanted to have Krellinson use his energy, he's actually doing more work in them situations.
39:26Under 30 seconds to go here in round one.
39:30Looks like he's maybe dropping him for a dart stroke here.
39:33Moves over to north-south.
39:35I mean, he is just putting on a passing clinic right now.
39:37This is where he's really good.
39:39This is where he's going to get to the back.
39:40And you can see that Max Livingston did his homework because he sat his hip to the mat.
39:47Nice job not giving up his backs, Max Livingston.
39:50Go over.
39:50Go over.
39:51All right.
39:51Three seconds, Liam.
39:53Stop.
39:56The Livingston said, I just got to survive round one, which he will be more technical.
40:01And we will see a second round.
40:05So now, this is where we're going to shine here, right?
40:08Hard faints.
40:09Hard faints from the top.
40:11Let's go for the takedowns out.
40:12Yeah, when he sits, though, we're backing away.
40:14We're giving him too much time.
40:15Get right into it.
40:16Think the hard fucking knee cuts.
40:18Think coming over the top.
40:19You know what I mean?
40:19That's just going to make him turtle.
40:21Okay?
40:21But you've got to play his head height.
40:23You've got to play his head height.
40:24As soon as he gives a grip up, right over the top.
40:27Yeah, let's remix some of this first round.
40:28Look at Krelliston.
40:29Gets the two-on-one as he pulls guard.
40:31Drops down into his guard with a connection.
40:33And immediately goes to attack the leg.
40:36Livingston bails on that.
40:38Now we see Krelliston in this Z guard.
40:43Goes over to the leg.
40:45Gets on top with a nice sweep.
40:49And again, Krelliston on top.
40:51The beautiful mount.
40:52Just step over into mount to get control over Livingston.
40:56Dominant round from Krelliston here.
41:00The ultimate underdog.
41:01Jersey's own Frankie Edgar sits down with Megan Levy on an all-new episode of Becoming a Fighter.
41:06Now available on UFC's YouTube or wherever you get your podcasts.
41:10We start round number two.
41:12Liam Krelliston in the black and the red.
41:13Max Livingston in the blue.
41:16Michael, was that 10-9 or in 10-8 round for Liam?
41:19It was a solid 10-9 round.
41:21We didn't see, you know, any fight-ending techniques.
41:24But we saw duration of control.
41:27And I think that was the biggest thing.
41:28We saw good sweeps.
41:29We saw him in advanced positions.
41:31And the key to him advancing positions was the way he was able to pummel with his legs.
41:35He's essentially pummeling with his legs past the guard of Max Livingston.
41:39And it looks like Max Livingston's looking to elevate him with these double butterfly hooks.
41:45You could crawl to knee slides, too, next time.
41:53That's something that Liam is doing very, very well.
41:55Once Max creates space and gets Liam off of him, as Max goes to wrestle up, Liam just shoulder-checks
42:02him and pushes him back down and makes Max Livingston stay on his back.
42:07Let's also remember that Liam Krellinson has been on the mats with some of the best in the world.
42:13When he was 13 years old, he was thrown into the fire because his brother was doing it.
42:17And he was part of that Blue Basement crew in New York with John Donaher.
42:21So he knows what the elite of the elite looked like.
42:24Yeah, those must have been some wild times being 13 years old in the Blue Basement with John Donaher.
42:29And guys like Gordon Ryan.
42:30I mean, those were some Gary Tonin.
42:32And, I mean, that's where American Jiu-Jitsu really exploded in that Blue Basement.
42:37Max Livingston wrestles up into submarine position.
42:42That was wise by Liam Krellinson to sit to his butt.
42:51Max Livingston looks like he's got a little more confidence now as the second round goes on as he's looking
42:57for an entry.
42:58And now both will have to get back to their feet.
43:03Well, one thing you've got to know about Max Livingston is he was expecting to fight really hard.
43:09Now he's got a deep shot on this leg, guys.
43:12He's got a deep shot on the leg.
43:13And Max was able to frame out on the butt and get his leg out.
43:19That was a beautiful slide by for Max Livingston.
43:27Look at the way that Liam's able to pass on the outside to get his hooks in.
43:31This is one of his best positions here, guys.
43:35He's got the figure four body lock around the waist.
43:37Now he needs to manipulate the arms of Max Livingston.
43:40Try to pull Max's arms above his head and get to this choke.
43:44He might have it here.
43:45He's just going to cram it in.
43:47That's his job.
43:48He's got it.
43:51What a performance in the debut of 21-year-old Liam Krellinson.
43:56As he gets the finish here in round number two.
44:15Max Livingston, he was game.
44:17But the skill level, you could see the difference in the bowl tonight, Michael.
44:21Definitely, definitely a big skill gap.
44:23But listen, you want to give these guys their shot in the big show.
44:25But let's take a look at these replays.
44:27Look at that beautiful little shuck by from Max Livingston.
44:30And right away, Liam jumps in on this leg lock.
44:33And he gets a good bite on it.
44:34It was a good attack.
44:36But Max was able to frame out and escape.
44:38And then look at this.
44:39Look at the way he passes on the outside.
44:41And as Max Livingston bellies out, Liam throws a hook in,
44:46switches to the body triangle.
44:48And that's one of his best positions.
44:49Once he gets into this body triangle, he just starts pummeling.
44:52You don't always have to get it clean around the neck.
44:55You can see right here, he takes that right hand, gets it attached to the shoulder,
44:59and he just stuffs the left hand behind the head.
45:02Just a nasty jaw-cranking, strangulating submission.
45:07That was beautiful stuff from Liam Krillensen.
45:12All right, let's make this one a fish.
45:14Shall we go to Justin Bernard?
45:16Ladies and gentlemen, referee Jason Herzog calls a stop to the match in round number two,
45:21declaring the winner by submission via rear naked choke,
45:26Liam Krillensen.
45:32Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with your winner, Liam Krillensen.
45:35Justin, lots of emotions from you.
45:37What an incredible UFC BJJ debut.
45:40What sort of emotions are you feeling right now?
45:42I feel incredible, you know?
45:43I mean, this is everything I wanted.
45:45I came here, I dominated, I subbed him.
45:49That's all you can ask for on your UFC BJJ debut.
45:52You did exactly what you said you were going to do.
45:55You told us this week,
45:55I am most dangerous because I break people in there.
45:58At what moment did you feel that you might have broken him?
46:01In the first round, I felt him breathing heavy.
46:04I kept putting my hands on his face.
46:06I felt him break.
46:09Round two, I slid down.
46:11I saw his face.
46:12He didn't want to be there anymore.
46:13So I knew I could put him away in round two.
46:16You took the back, beautiful face crank, rear naked choke.
46:19What's going through your mind in that moment when you locked it up?
46:21I have him.
46:22Game over.
46:23You know, I've done that a million times in the gym.
46:26I knew he was tired.
46:27I knew he was broken.
46:29I felt him go, and I knew he was done.
46:33Well, what can we expect from you here on this stage, Liam?
46:37I got my brother fighting or having his match in two matches,
46:41so I'm going to go back there, help him warm up,
46:44and then the Krellinsons are going to fucking take over UFC BJJ.
46:47Let's fucking go.
46:48We love it.
46:49Congratulations on the victory.
46:50Ladies and gentlemen, once again, your winner, Liam Krellinsen.

49:14idea in sports history.
49:19One of the most sensational champions we've ever seen inside the Octagon.
49:24He has the chance to be the first to successfully defend both the featherweight and lightweight
49:30UFC title.
49:31But he is facing Justin Gaethje.
49:33He is a savage and he doesn't run away from anything.
49:36He has the highest performance bonus percentage in all of the UFC.
49:40Those two at the White House should be insane.
49:47Oh!
49:48Oh, Rex!
49:49Oh, a time potato!
49:51He had the opportunity to become a three-way champion.
49:53But he's moving up to fight Cyril God, the most athletic heavyweight in the game.
49:59This is not just mixed martial arts history.
50:01This is sports history.
50:03A one-of-one event.
50:04Here we go, Washington.
50:05That's it.
50:17We cannot wait.
50:19All right.
50:19Familiar faces return to action at the meta apex as Landon Elmore faces off with Keith
50:24for Corian and an intriguing featherweight pairing.
50:28We take a look at the age difference for Corian, the older of the two, as we get set for
50:33match
50:33number three.
50:35Justin Bernard, let's get it started.
50:37Ladies and gentlemen, our next match is scheduled for three rounds in the featherweight division.
50:43Introducing to you first, in the blue corner, weighing in at 145 pounds, out of Encinitas,
50:50California, USA, Keith Krikorian.
50:58And now introducing his opponent in the red corner, with an official weight of 144.5 pounds,
51:06out of Austin, Texas, USA, Landon, the big slime, Elmore.
51:16And when the action begins, your referee in charge, Vitor Hibera.
51:26You ready?
51:27Are you ready?
51:28Let's go.
51:30Match number three here in the featherweight division.
51:33Keith Krikorian in the blue, Landon Elmore in the black and the red.
51:37Just 19 years old, Landon Elmore.
51:42At a 40-second finish in BJJ 4, but then he was tripped up last December in a loss against
51:50Harrison Gabriel.
51:51So, Dean, he has got a lot to prove here in his comeback match here in UFC BJJ 8.
51:56Yeah, Harrison Gabriel just knew his game.
51:57He knew what he was capable of, and then just shut him down.
52:01Looks like we got an eye poke.
52:03Look, I guess we should change the gloves.
52:13You know, when you talk about that match between Harrison Gabriel and Landon Elmore,
52:18Landon had a deep shot on one of Gabriel's legs in that first round.
52:22I feel like he just invested all of his stocks into that one submission
52:25and just ran out of money over the course of the match.
