00:08and they were on top of the world by the OnePlus 7 series.
00:11They'd iterated on the design quite a bit with thinner and thinner bezels
00:15and fingerprint readers and bigger batteries and much faster charging.
00:19And they'd obviously moved on from CyanogenMod,
00:22but now they had their own flavor of Android, OxygenOS,
00:24which was this super smooth and fast optimized software.
00:28They had a software team that had come into their own,
00:30tweaking all kinds of animations and timing
00:32and making these phones as responsive as possible.
00:35By this point, basically anyone who reviews phones
00:37or says anything about phones at all was basically on the same page
00:40that these were the best bang for the buck in the entire industry.
00:45They'd blown past, like, if you know, you know status,
00:47and it was literally like, if anyone is a smartphone reviewer
00:50or has a tech blog or weighs in about smartphones at all,
00:54everyone was like, yeah, these are some of the best smartphones.

01:02The OnePlus 7 was under the radar.
01:05The OnePlus 7 Pro was silly fast.
