00:00Hi, I'm here to tell you more about our new game, Order of the Sinking Star, coming out later this
00:06year.
00:08It's a huge puzzle adventure where you explore a big overworld and drop down into different sub-games.
00:15I say sub-games because it starts out as an anthology of four different games.
00:21First, The Heroes of Hauling, a band of fantasy heroes who started a moving company and ran into trouble.
00:28A warrior, thief, wizard, bard, cleric, and druid, all of whom have different puzzle powers.
00:36In another game, The Mirror Isles, a wealthy trader is navigating this archipelago where, in a blink, the mirrors can
00:44swap him with his reflection.
00:46In The Promise, there's an explorer of deep caverns who uses giant gems to power beams of light,
00:53the different colors allowing him to walk through walls, smash boulders, or perform 12 different abilities in all.
00:59In Skipping Stones to Lonely Homes, there's a marooned sailor in a world of big stones that skip across the
01:05water,
01:06lily pads she can ride, and rivers she can redirect.
01:10You can play these four games in any order.
01:13At first, Order of the Sinking Star appears to just be an anthology of these games.
01:18Then we get to the real point of the game.
01:21The worlds collide, the characters meet each other,
01:24and we enter a complex universe where the objects from each world interact.
01:29What surprises happen when the wizard can teleport swap with whatever he sees in a mirror?
01:34What happens when you can mirror a fire-breathing dragon?
01:37What can you do by shining the colored beams on monsters?
01:40At this point, you travel the overworld to explore all the different ways these worlds can combine.
01:46The combinatorics are huge, and that generates many, many levels,
01:51and that's why there are over a thousand puzzles in the game.
01:54And the levels are fun.
01:56They're not a headache.
01:57They're not hard just to be hard.
01:59Every puzzle has something unique and interesting to show you.
02:04In the story, you'll find that all this world combining is being done by a mysterious organization
02:09called the Order of the Sinking Star,
02:11whose secrets you may uncover if you can get far enough.
02:17We'll share more information about Order of the Sinking Star,
02:20including release date and other details, over the next few months.
