The tables have officially turned. Rick Ross and even Drake's own fanbase are heavily criticizing the new triple-album rollout, ICEMAN. 🧊📉
Today we’re compiling the absolute wildest reactions to the fallout from Drake's ICEMAN project. Following a direct jab on the song "Make Them Pay"—where Drake rapped about aiding Ross with streams before Adin Ross was around—the MMG boss fired back on Instagram Live. Ross didn't just laugh off the diss; he read negative fan reviews aloud, calling the project "three albums of trash" and declaring Drake officially "washed."
Beyond the rap beef, a massive wave of Drake fans on TikTok and X are expressing serious disappointment, calling the 43-track delivery bloated, outdated, and bitter. We break down the community’s unfiltered reactions.

00:00kendrick lamar was right about drake at first i thought kendrick was just talking crazy during
00:05that rap battle but the more drake moves lately the more it feels like kendrick wasn't dissing
00:10he was warning us you late i put on drake's ice man album and everybody left like the way this
00:22man has unflinchingly released some of the laziest projects of his whole career without
00:27even second guessing himself be it either more life or honestly never mind and yet it took years for
00:33drake to figure out what he was going to do on ice man i played the album on stream and
00:38it made
00:39everyone in the chat feel sick and dirty we had to go our separate ways and take showers and burn
00:45candles and listen to music that we actually enjoy did you listen to ice man the new um i listened
00:52to
00:52some of it my engineer was it was horrendous my homies actually sat there he said it was horrendous
00:59yo this nigga rick ross be frying me brother he said in the way he said it was horrendous huh
01:05this nigga it was horrendous
01:09it was horrendous what yo this is funny as we usually listen to stuff like fat boy sharif or
01:18reese langston or armand hammer or jill scott but we like to stay moderately hip so sometimes we listen
01:25to stuff that's not necessarily in our wheelhouse we listen to that abysmal little wayne album
01:31we listen to both discs of j cole's the fall off we listen to that last eminem album where he
01:37was
01:37rapping to himself asking himself whether or not he should keep writing bars that are intended to shock
01:43middle schoolers we listen to stuff we don't like sometimes we have a chuckle it brings us together
01:49and we move on this album didn't do that this album made everybody feel sick and sad ice man is
01:56a
01:57sick sad album what a lot of drake's fans have built up to be a methodical ambitious rollout has
02:04just been one long ongoing distraction for drake to figure out what his next move or sure bet
02:11is going to be something i don't entirely fault drake for because losing the biggest battle in hip-hop
02:17history by a wide margin would most likely put anyone in a position where they are you know uh
02:23thinking twice about what they're going to do next this was likely also worsened by the l's that drake
02:29was taking in the courtroom too oh man it was i mean pitchfork gave it i said it was mid
02:35mid meant
02:36five pitchfork gave it a four point something i don't know but it was like no one's my friend
02:44you left me alone it's that type of shit homies actually sat there they lost an hour they life for
02:53this shit listen to it and the way he just said that like they they lost an hour they life
02:57like like
02:58they was physically hurt they lost an hour they life listening to my homies
03:05they done lost an hour they like that they can't get back listening to that it was horrendous
03:11this man is hilarious y'all yeah are they recovering
03:26on friday he did what he's never done before which is drop three albums in one night he did the
03:31musical equivalent of moving into a mansion with no furniture days before this album came out i had
03:36a discussion on my live stream where i talked about how i had a lack of respect for drake's
03:41artistry but always would acknowledge how big of a fan i was of him when i was younger and even
03:45slightly till this day uh i used to be a drake fan as well and this video is going to
03:51break down how i
03:52felt two years ago when euphoria dropped she having the same sentiments now that i had when euphoria
04:02dropped you know i mean you late you late but better late than never let me be clear very early
04:09disclaimer i am not here to hate on drake he's one of i am the most successful artists ever that
04:15could never be taken away from him and who am i to take it away from him this video is
04:19not about whether
04:20his music is good or bad it's about a pattern that's just getting way too hard for me to ignore
04:26let's just start with the obvious elephant in the room the michael jackson comparisons because this is
04:31where you got me and things just start spilling off as a person who grew up listening to a lot
04:37of
04:37drink music and being a fan i do not like that he used the mj glove for that album cover
04:43me either
04:44i'll be completely honest let's just get the elephant out of the room you've been promoting
04:48iceman all this time and not once did you even mention or say anything about that it's just kind
04:55of weird and you use mj's glove on the album cover not even for the pop album that's that's kind
05:03of
05:03crazy right how it's been iceman iceman iceman iceman this is frosted over this is frozen over
05:10here that couch is frozen my mansion is frozen this room is frozen i got to doing a iceman treasure
05:16hunt
05:16iceman iceman iceman i'm going to do iceman episodes of iceman iceman iceman iceman iceman's michael jackson
05:22where the fuck joe where where what this why and then on that entire album you're throwing shots at
05:36people for exposing you for who you showed them you are i don't know gang
05:50oh my god i feel like drake's infatuation with mj is a little weird we got the glove we got
06:05his
06:05obsession with breaking the records and it to me that doesn't seem like a good thing in a way it
06:11kind of seems like weird this just doesn't seem like someone who is inspired by michael jackson it
06:17feels like someone who's trying to surpass him at any cost i don't think drake just wants to be great
06:24and it's so crazy to say that out loud because he's been at the top of the game for the
06:29last 15 years
06:30and he he's been there and believe it or not in the last two years drake has done so much
06:34promo
06:35dropped so many songs despite the fact that numerous delusional voices come out of the woodwork
06:41every week to build this narrative that hip-hop is worse off without drake and the game isn't the
06:47same without him but like drake is very much here not only was there a short film iceman episodic series
06:55of videos that mostly served to uh put out song clips of uh ideas that drake was kind of you
07:02know beta
07:02testing for the record obviously but the dude also dropped multiple demos song sketches uh stuff
07:09through that plot twist account whatever the hell 100 gigs was even singles like what did i miss that
07:15dropped in july of last year that everybody somehow forgot about because nobody's been listening to that
07:21damn song since when drake's iceman album dropped the white house posted this then the white house
07:28posted that when drake iceman dropped the white house twitter account well it's maggot right now
07:34maggot white house twitter account posted this now this is the cover of drake's iceman album with the
07:43maga chain now obviously we know what they're doing is they're promoting ice and the ice raids and the
07:50the the people who are in massed who are massed jumping out of cars ripping families apart um grabbing
07:57people out of their homes at night american citizens um doing all this stuff where most people are against
08:04them they use them to push that and already i knew that the iceman name was tone deaf but once
08:13this
08:13came out i said oh nasty check it out couple days later they posted this video do y'all see
08:20the
08:21correlation watch watch calling trump the iceman so i tweeted this white house has now made two promos
08:27using drake's album which he hasn't denounced yet but they thought we were crazy for saying iceman is a
08:32tone deaf album title in this climate act in this climate what's going on with the people the people
08:39are going against this whole movement that trump put out they running around messing with people and
08:44everything what do this sound like but this wasn't just about them using a song when you align yourself
08:50with people like this or this or this and call your album this when this is happening with an album
08:56cover that has this sign that also kind of looks like this sign you this man brought files and everything
09:03thank gosh he's cooking he is cooking so they're using ice iceman and they're promoting ice they're
09:16promoting ice remember that the detaining this is ice this is them detaining people these are the people
09:24who've killed american citizens this is ice i don't know how many people are even for ice but i knew
09:32things got absolutely positively crazy when this dropped because ladies and gentlemen even theo vaughn
09:41has came out and said do not use my stuff to promote ice do not use my stuff to promote
09:47that that stuff
09:48you can go see what theo vaughn said and that was crazy to me and drake not saying anything to
09:54this
09:55now remember this is about ice and maga it's not even about just hey this is the white house ice
10:03and
10:03maga he left ice places he'd been promoting ice man i didn't hear nothing about no made honor i don't
10:10even like weddings and i don't know what a habibti is maybe there were some habibti sculptures around
10:17toronto i wouldn't know i don't know what habibti is i heard he released three albums to try to get
10:23out of his label deal and to that i say congratulations you did your homework now
10:31you can go outside and i mean that too because ice man is the sound of a man that is
10:37stun locked a man
10:38that refuses to get out of his house and go anywhere or have a new experience or process any of
10:44his actual
10:45human being emotions because to do so would mean to admit that his feelings were hurt it started
10:51off with these live streams and these music videos that were underscored by this narrative that umg
10:57was trying to destroy the image of drake you're left with the impression that drake is holding on to
11:02something that the industry wants him to get rid of in order to reach the next level you're met with
11:07this idea that others who have gone against him have accepted whatever the industry has had to offer
11:13them and have already given themselves away he wants you to be left with this impression that
11:17he's the pure one he's the one that they couldn't get the one that they couldn't change the one that
11:21was untouched there was such a level of divinity to drake when it came to this rollout you would
11:26think that he was introducing himself as the second coming of christ someone who had been publicly
11:30crucified for the last 12 months and is now being resurrected yeah by the way when you when you've
11:35been waiting after you seen people put ice blocks in the middle of places and promoted and marketed and
11:41the world knew what day it was coming out and the came out and and really you know folded remember
11:47what i told you the streets are the streets
11:52if drake was what he thought you what you think he was or what he thought he was he would
11:58have been
11:58able to clear all this up address it and been moved on he's still suing the label that's like him
12:04he might sue you for speaking of him on this situation he might sue you he might send you a
12:09cease and desist it's a nice alley-oop that's a nice alley let him know but if it does i'll
12:14definitely
12:15text you and i'll say we got to share the legal fees together because you we would share legal fees
12:19together we get the same lawyer no no we won't man he might sue you he sue lucian grange all
12:27of this
12:28points to a reality that i feel like a lot of drake's biggest fans are having a hard time facing
12:33that the boy doesn't really have the juice quite like he used to not to say drake isn't still one
12:39of the most popular hip-hop artists on the planet one of the most streamed he certainly is but i
12:44think the
12:44days of milk and honey of drake's stimulus packages of him being able to shape the mainstream layer of
12:51hip-hop merely by dropping a song that goes into a new direction yeah i i think that's all done
12:57man
12:57rick ross just ain't been having it bro i think of what rick ross did after iceman dropped bars bars
13:06damn they just say three albums are trash albums two years too late what's what what site is this uh
13:13complex the glazer university the glazer university is crazy thanks you net oh my god i've been a long
13:27fan oh my god mr youtube fuck a big three anyway there was too many chefs in the kitchen bars
13:43come on guys stop y'all gotta let's all leave little man's alone now man he did it he dropped
13:53three million projects hey man it was fun while i lasted you're washed what i was looking for off
14:01iceman wasn't a response to kendrick it wasn't the chip that's very obviously on drake's shoulder
14:08i wasn't looking for him to write a whole bunch of revenge bars i was i was i was genuinely
14:14looking
14:16for accountability here and that doesn't come with some public apology towards everyone that has
14:21something to say about him over the last two years that doesn't come with some lack of acknowledgement
14:25that there probably is friction between he and his label that doesn't have to involve them
14:31artificially inflating the popularity of the disc records that doesn't have to be reuniting with
14:36people that you used to have beef with and if you're gonna call an old flame drake make it a
14:40bigger fucking spectacle than ran to atlanta jesus christ point being i didn't need his reintroduction
14:46musically to be humble i didn't need him to come groveling back to anyone or to express himself in a
14:51way that was uh neutered i was looking for him to take full ownership and i'm a believer that when
14:57you take that ownership you can you can genuinely move beyond whatever it is that's holding you back
15:02but if you are only committed to seeing yourself as the victim what can you really take control over
15:07i'm either gonna believe the world is happening to you against your will or you're pulling the strings
15:12behind the scenes but it can't be both and if you listen to this album there are two very important
15:17takeaways one is that he used to be a nice man and now he's an ice man it's very important
15:23that you
15:23understand this he was nice now he's ice like bobby drake or one of those former proud boys that shoot
15:31people in the face of minneapolis the other important takeaway can be summed up with this
15:35legendary tweet from drill don't tell anybody he was mad even though it's two years later and he's
15:48calling kendrick lamar mugsy bogues uh he's mad at lebron james for switching teams and he's mad at dj
15:54college for not weighing in on the battle two years ago he's definitely not mad he's not mad
16:01even though he took his record label to court and called his atlanta feature ran to atlanta
16:07and told somebody named janice who is either an employee at umg or baby keem's mom to shut the
16:14up he's definitely he's not mad you see he's not mad
16:20even though he was a nice man and now he's an ice man uh immigration customs enforcement
16:25man is not because something happened that made him mad that is definitely not why
16:32drake spins all 18 tracks of ice man pretending to be cool and i can report listening to somebody
16:42pretending to be cool for 18 tracks is not an enjoyable thing to listen to it's bogged down
16:48it's performative it's tired and it makes people tired listening to it i've heard everything on
16:55iceman years before it was released in scorpion and clb and for all the dogs the difference is at least
17:02on those nights where drake was releasing music he kept it down to 22 or 23 tracks or less this
17:09time
17:09he's doubled it part of the problem here is that drake has run out of styles to steal he took
17:14drill from the uk and new york uh he can't really rap like bad bunny anymore because bad bunny raps
17:23about
17:23human emotions and stuff now and there's no new coherent popping atlanta rap styles to steal he used
17:32to be able to steal new styles and that made him sound fresh but now there's no more new styles
17:37to steal
17:38so he stole from mac dre and the problem there is that mac dre has been dead for 20 years
17:46so
17:47it stands to reason that even if mac dre was still alive he wouldn't be rapping like he was 20
17:54years ago
17:55today so a lot of what we get on here is the same cadence drake has been using for the
18:01last three albums
18:03be it either due to the beef or years of self-fulfilling prophecy packed into every album for the last
18:09six or seven years where drake is throwing out endless subliminals alongside all of these proclamations
18:16of how alone and isolated he is in the world how lonely it is at the top and now more
18:22than ever on iceman
18:23that really does seem to be the world he is living in and and that already seemed like it was
18:28the case on
18:29for all the dogs now it is worse and even if the first day numbers on this album are impressive
18:34which
18:35they were i don't think long term this is a sustainable model for drake because drake historically
18:40is nothing if not a collaborator an adopter of different styles and regional music trends and
18:47that has depended on the willingness of other artists from whatever world he is trying to emulate
18:52to bring him along the way and legitimize whatever it is he's attempting he references july as one of the
18:58worst times in his life on this album but never tells you why because if you dig deep enough it
19:03will require you to say i asked for the guy who called me a pedo for two years to
19:09i think the difference between myself and others that might call themselves drake fans is that i'm
19:16looking for something to reconnect me to his music i believe i'm a fan in nostalgia and let's set the
19:21record straight once more for those who have their head in the grass or up their ass an idea
19:26that you gave to your opponent in a rap battle is not something that you can go back afterwards and
19:33claim was made up by your label to bring your value down you're telling the public that a label that
19:39you've been in bed with for over a decade that's helped fund your career up until this point is now
19:45attempting to tear you down off the back of a battle that you asked for with subject matter approved by
19:52you
19:53before it was released and expecting anyone not obsessed with the name aubrey graham to see you as
19:59anything beyond a hip-hop homelander is insane to me it's really him it's really him you're a victim
20:07here we go csi
