00:00Arsenal are Premier League champions and Mikel Arteta has waited six long years in order to finally get his hands
00:08on the Premier League trophy.
00:10The title was decided when Man City drew away at Bournemouth. Arsenal players were seen celebrating at Sober Reality Training
00:18Centre in North London.
00:19However, Mikel Arteta wasn't there. He met up with the players later. This is what the Arsenal boss had to
00:26say.
00:26The journey, the manner that we've done it and how many people have been involved and waiting for so long
00:33to accomplish that goal.
00:35Can you just give us an idea of what it was like for you on Tuesday night when that whistle
00:39went at the Vitality, your overriding emotion when it happened?
00:44You don't realise it probably. It's one of the best feelings I've ever had.
00:50I was supposed to be here at Colony watching the game with the boys and certain staff because that's what
00:55they wanted, but I couldn't.
00:58I think 20 minutes later, before the game, I had to leave.
01:02I couldn't bring the energy that I wanted and I think it was their moment as well, to watch it
01:08together, to be themselves and just see what the outcome would be.
01:12And I went home, I went outside to the garden, I started to build some fire and I started to
01:18do some barbecue, I didn't watch any of it.
01:21I was just hearing some noises in the background, in the living room and suddenly the magic happened.
01:28My oldest son opened the garden door, he started to run towards me, he started to cry, he gave me
01:35a hug and said,
01:36We are champions, daddy. And then my other two boys and my wife came over and it was beautiful.
