00:00Good afternoon. My name is Mark Sandoval and I am the proud principal here at
00:04William Anderson. It is an honor to stand before you today as we celebrate the
00:09opening of something far greater than just a soccer field. We're going to
00:14celebrate the creation of new opportunities, stronger community
00:19connections, and brighter futures for all of our students. I first would like to
00:24extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who made today possible, to Genesis, the
00:31US Soccer Foundation, and the Major League Soccer. Thank you for your generosity, your
00:36vision, and your investment in the children here at William Anderson. Your
00:41partnership has provided our students with a space where they can build
00:45confidence, teamwork, discipline, and joy through the game of soccer. I would also
00:54like to offer a sincere thank you to Dr. Jesus Martinez and Dallas ISD for your
01:00continued support of our campus and for believing in initiatives that enrich the
01:05lives of our students both inside and outside of the classroom. There's a quote
01:11that says, the greatness of community is most accurately measured by the
01:17compassionate actions of its members. Today is a beautiful reflection of that
01:22greatness. This mini-pitch stands as a symbol of what can happen when
01:27organizations, schools, and communities come together with one shared purpose, to
01:35give children every opportunity to thrive. To all of our guests here today, our
01:41families, our staff, teachers, and supporters who are here with us today, rain or shine,
01:48thank you for celebrating this special milestone with us. Our students have been
01:53eagerly awaiting for this moment, and I know this field will soon be filled with
01:59laughter, learning, teamwork, and unforgettable memories. As the Anderson family, we look
02:08forward to getting together here often to cheer on our students, celebrate their
02:15growth, and watch them enjoy the many benefits this mini-pitch will bring for
