00:29In a series of since-deleted posts from his infamous p-hustler Reddit account, Plattner,
00:34an oyster farmer and self-styled ardent foe of the billionaire class, reportedly defended
00:39a Marine who urinated on a dead Taliban fighter, confessed that he joined the Marines to quote,
00:45have an adventure and kill some people, and gushed over a user's post showing a collection
00:50of phallic graffiti from their military era.
00:53In another controversial post, the main Marine vet chided about an American soldier's viral
00:58body cam video from Afghanistan, where he was shot at least four times and earned a purple heart.

03:00In October 2025, an embarrassing video showing Plattner singing in only briefs at a wedding
03:05celebration for his brother also revealed that the Bernie Sanders-backed candidate
03:09was sporting a controversial skull tattoo linked to Nazism.

03:15very inebriated when he got a tattoo that resembled a Totenkamp or death's head symbol
03:20used by the notorious Nazi SS secret police force in Croatia while inebriated in 2007.

03:53including when he joined the Army National Guard.
03:55The Army prohibits ink that is extremist, racist, or sexist.
03:59Plattner later told Politico it wasn't until he started hearing from reporters
04:03and DC insiders that he realized the tattoo resembled a Nazi symbol.
