00:05The video what Ben Gavir, Minister Ben Gavir and other Israeli ministers revealed in those videos was not an aberration,
00:16it was exposure.
00:18They publicly displayed, blindfolded, restrained international civilians being humiliated under armed guard as political theater.
00:29And the most revealing part was not the abuse itself, it was the comfort with which Israeli officials broadcast it
00:36to the world.
00:38You then had Netanyahu and Western governments rush out to say this behavior was not in line with Israel's values,
00:45but we know this is exactly in line with Israel's values.
00:49That line performs a very specific function.
00:53It isolated the humiliation from the system that produced it.
00:58The panic now is not over what was done.
01:01The panic was over the visibility of it because once ministers begin proudly filming the machinery of humiliation themselves,
01:09it becomes much harder for Western governments to maintain the fiction that this is all an unfortunate exception.
01:17And this is exactly what Palestinians in Gaza, this is just a fraction, a tiny I fraction into what Palestinians
01:25in Gaza have been living through
01:28under such degradation and military domination and total impunity.
01:32I guess many people watching around the world will be wondering if this takes place on camera, what goes on
01:40off camera?
01:42That is exactly the right question to ask.
01:45There are over 10,000 Palestinian men, women and children who have been illegally detained, abducted, held as political prisoners
01:59and hostages.
01:59And what they are, what happens off camera is beyond anything I can even mention to you on camera with
02:10you.
02:10It is degrading.
02:12It is sexual abuse.
02:14It is physical abuse.
02:16It is torture.
02:17It is depravity at a level that would make any viewer around the world sick to their, to their core.
02:28And it is surpassed the edge of language that we have to describe what the Israeli mechanism does to the
02:40Palestinian people in their everyday life.
02:43And certainly to pull up, to pull up to the prisoners that we, we get no glance into at all.
02:48I guess the response is if this treatment is so shocking, the wise thing to do is don't get on
02:55a flotilla and stay away from this place.
02:59That would be the, actually the absolute wrong response.
03:04That response says, if this thing is happening, just let's just let it keep on happening.
03:10Um, and there are, the world has seen too much for too long.
03:16Um, we've seen, uh, a live streamed Israel's live stream genocide of the Palestinian people, um, on our screens, 24,
03:287, 365 for the past thousand days.
03:31And so that's what these people tried to do.
03:36They got on boats, on little sailboats, on wooden boats, on dinghies, um, to go face down and try to
03:46break the illegal siege on Gaza.
