00:31During the meetings, both sides reaffirmed their vision of a multipolar international order
00:38and made progress on long-term energy cooperation.
00:43One of the most relevant points was the power of Siberia 2, the gas pipeline project.
00:51This project aims to transport approximately 50 billion cubic meters of gas per year from
01:00Russia to China via Mongolia.
01:03Its strategic importance is bilateral.
01:06For China, it strengthened energy security throughout land routes and diversification of supplies.
01:14For Russia, it represents a structural alternative to European markets, reducing its historical
01:22dependence on Europe and ensuring stable demand in the Asian markets.
01:29However, the final terms, including price and timelines, have not yet been defined.
01:36In this context, more than 20 agreements and numerous documents were signed in areas such
01:44as energy, technology, transportation, and scientific cooperation.
01:50Both countries also highlighted the increased use of national currency in their trade, in a context
01:59where the vast majority of transactions are already conducted in yuan and robos.
02:07Bilateral trade is projected to reach approximately 228 billion dollars by 2025, reflecting the deepening
02:19economic ties between Moscow and Beijing.
