00:06of Ireland needed to happen in mines and not just land and law. The Galway politician addressed the
00:12Leeds Irish Centre on the final day of her three-day official trip to England, which also saw her hold
00:17engagements in London. She told members of the Irish community in West Yorkshire that
00:23decolonisation included reclaiming confidence in our culture, our language and our identity,
00:28after centuries of being told what was Irish was lesser. It followed Mr Connolly meeting students
00:35at the University of Leeds who were involved in the Irish Dance Society and the Gaelic football team in this
00:42city.
