00:11children and pulled their ears, hair and their toes and toppled them headfirst into cots.
00:18The 23-year-old was jailed for eight years last September after admitting seven counts of cruelty to a person
00:26under the age of 16 and was convicted after a trial of another 14 counts.
00:32A total of 21 babies are understood to have been abused by her at two nurseries in London.
00:40However, by February this year, having served four months in prison and less than 15% of her sentence, she
00:48was deported to Poland, where she may face no further consequences.
00:53A father whose son was physically abused by Lecker told the BBC that her deportation early in her sentence was
01:00completely inappropriate.
01:02Other parents described it as horrendous.
01:05Despite being informed by their British counterparts, Polish authorities have had limited involvement in the issue and Lecker is not
01:13expected to spend any further time behind bars.
01:16There also remains a chance that she will work with children again.
01:21Lecker's crimes were discovered in June 2024, after she was sent home for pinching a number of children at Twickenham
01:28Green Nursery.
