00:10looking at how to test the scalability and reliability of your network system.
00:15Scalability testing ensures your network grows as your needs do. There are six key methods to use.
00:21Load testing. Use tools like JMeter or Locus.io to evaluate performance under heavy traffic.
00:27Stress testing. Push the network beyond its capacity to identify breaking points and latency
00:32failures. Scalability testing. Test horizontal scalability by adding more instances and
00:38vertical scalability by upgrading existing ones. Benchmarking. Compare your results against
00:44industry standards or competitors. Realistic scenarios. Simulate peak traffic times and
00:49future growth projections. Performance monitoring. Continuously monitor the network in production
00:54to catch scaling issues early. Reliability is about staying online when things go wrong.
