00:04Okay, I'm back with a little update on the Dark Scrolls release date.
00:08So, originally, we were going to release Dark Scrolls on May 28th,
00:11but it turns out I'm going to be a little bit busy playing Mina the Hollower when it comes out
00:16on May 29th,
00:17because we have our priorities in the right place, and I already requested it off from work.
00:21We're going to be pushing Dark Scrolls back just a little bit to June 22nd.

00:37Okay, so Britt and I are playing Dark Scrolls online.
00:40Britt's playing as Grizz the Barbarian, I'm playing as Pigeon the Thief.
00:44Both of our characters can auto-fire if you hold the button.
00:47And each level has some unique enemies and mechanics, as well as kind of handmade chunks.
00:53Just having a beautiful day at Mount Rainier.
00:56So the screen's going to be constantly scrolling to the right, kind of like a shmup.
00:59You have to be careful not to get pinched at the edge.
01:01Yeah, and then there's these battle locks that happen every so often.
01:04So when you hit a battle lock and you beat it before the countdown ends, you'll get a battle lock
01:09reward.
01:11And the total reward will give you a cannon, which is really nice because you'll basically get a skip all
01:16the way to the shop next.
01:19Here we are at the shop.
01:20You can buy perks.
01:22When you buy a perk, it gets equipped to a star level.
01:26Yeah, my special is charged, so I'll just trigger the hot feet perk that I just got.
01:31And now when I'm running around, I have hot feet.
01:35Pigeon's special is to go into stealth mode, where she can't take damage and she can throw a critical hit.
01:40And now it's reset my star meter back to zero.
01:45Oh boy, you're bumping me off there, fuckeroo.

01:59I'm surprised he wrecked us.
02:01It doesn't even matter if you die because you get to collect those yummy, yummy meta currency crystals.

02:31In between levels, there's a little rest spot where you get a maximum HP increase.

02:51It's a perfect example of two people's play styles where I was very generous and Cullen was very greedy.
