00:43Ano ba yung mga age group ang normally madalas mag-travel nowadays?
00:46What we're seeing in the hospitality industry now
00:49is very active ang mga millennial and gen-C natin, travelers,
00:54especially those that are in their mid-20s to late-30s.
00:58Sila yung mahilig sa quick staycation,
01:01sa mga quick getaway, food trip,
01:04and experiences that they can instantly share online.
01:09Actually, active rin yung mga family travelers
01:12and even older guests who wanted to just relax and enjoy.
01:17Kasama tayo dun sa millennial.

01:19O, yung mga mahilig sa mga mini-vacations.
01:22Right.
01:23Yung mga event natin.
01:24O, yung mga ilang mga three days, two nights, ganyan.
01:26Pero sa observation po ninyo,
01:28may mga nagbago ba sa travel behavior ng Pilipino?
01:31Well, mas practical and mas value-conscious kayo yung mga guests,
01:35especially with the rising cost brought about by the fuel.
01:39So, they're really checking, comparing the inclusions,
01:43the rates online before they book.
01:45And, as you mentioned, very last minute yung booking ng mga guests.
01:49And shorter booking windows and shorter trips
01:53because they want to really maximize their stay
01:55and really focus on the accommodation and wellness
02:00or food trips that they want to enjoy in their vacation.
02:03Ano ba ang mga hinahanap ngayon ng mga travelers?
02:07Saan sila madalas mga nagpupunta ngayon?
02:09Of course, popular pa rin yung mga beach and island destinations natin
02:13like Muracay, Palawan, Cebu, Bohol, and now Batangas
02:17because you don't have to, you know, buy an airplane ticket.

02:21Ola, travel lang.
02:22But because of the high cost of fuel,
02:25very popular na rin yung mga city staycations natin within Metro Manila.
02:29So, you know, budget-friendly yung mga accommodation natin
02:34dito sa Metro Manila.
02:35They don't have to travel far.
02:36They're looking for spacious accommodation
02:39where they can bring their family and friends.

02:43Unwind for quick getaway.
02:45Weekend, usually full yung mga hotels natin dito sa Metro Manila.

02:50Yung iba gusto mag-unwind.
02:51Pero, imbis na makapag-unwind, pagdating nila dun sa hotel, fake pala yung mga nabubot nila.

02:58Ano ba yung mga red flag na dapat bantayan ng ating mga ka-RSP para maiwasan yung ganito yung stress

03:04Well, some of the red flags, check nyo muna yung rates.
03:07If it's too low, sobrang baba yung rates, then it can be a scam.

03:13And then, usually yung mga, there are some suspicious social media pages, like yung mga page na walang masyadong engagement,
03:22konti lang yung follower, di ba?
03:24And then yung mga page na walang official contact person, walang official hotel number, then suspicious.
03:32So, my suggestion is, really, go to the official hotel website or yung mga trusted natin na booking platforms.
03:39Now, if they have doubts on the promotion, call the hotel hotline, di ba?

03:45Even if you see, whatever you see on their social media pages, there are hotel numbers naman that they can
03:51validate with the reservation, with the front desk before they book.
03:55Minsan din yung mga biglaang mga promong lalabas sa feed mo.

04:00Be careful with that.
04:01Actually, doon yung maraming mga scam ngayon, di ba, na nangyayari.
04:04So, even nga yung mga meta-verified pages, di ba, naka-clone na.
