00:00Hello everyone. Back again with English Theatre. Today, I have brought a 2019 romantic drama film, named, Before the Dawn.
00:09It was a beautiful story about a teenage boy, and a teacher, who were in love with each other, which
00:15that teacher didn't get in her past relationship.
00:17When she got pure love from her student, someone tried to separate their relationship, which really ruined their life.

00:33The film starts with, Jason, who is the main character in the film.
00:37He is having a fight with his parents about the grades, that he got at school.
00:42Because they are poor, and the friends he hangs around with are too bad.
00:46We then see him somewhere with a fellow student, selling to him his crack, that the same thing his brother,
00:52Michael, used to sell, who later gone to jail.
00:55After the bell rings the new teacher, Lila, introduces herself to them as their new English teacher.
01:01That evening after her class, Andrew introduced himself to her, and she is like you can call me Lila.
01:07Later she talked to her mom that evening on phone, and she is like everything is going on well.
01:13Back at Jason's home, he gets into an argument with his mom for coming back home late.
01:17Because Jason's mother is scared that he may turn out to be like his brother Michael.
01:22At school after her class, Jason stays behind and he asked her help with the essay assignment, which is about
01:28his personal life.
01:30Along with the conversation, she asked her students to give essay about their personal life, which will help her to
01:36know each and every one of her students.
01:37But in return Jason asked her, how about you, we don't know you.
01:42She asked him, what do you want to know exactly, and he then runs out of the classroom.
01:47In the process of her running after him, she runs into Sean, who advises her not to waste her time
01:52on him, because he has damaged goods.
01:55Lila insists that she should help him, because it is her job to do so, and that he was asking
01:59for help with the essay.
02:01Sean wishes her good luck with it.
02:03The next day he presents his essay in front of the class, and Lila is impressed with him.
02:09After the class he stays behind, and she told him that she can see talent and potential in him, and
02:14that he can improve his grades in class.
02:16That night Lila is with some papers in her hands, and it seems she is going through a divorce.
02:22The following morning Jason heads to school on his bicycle, and Andrew meets up with Lila they make an appointment
02:27for that night.
02:28And in class Jason is distracted, Lila notices his destruction and at the end of the lesson, she talks to
02:35him about it.
02:36He told her it is because of the pressure his parents put on him, so that he does not end
02:40up like his brother Michael.
02:42Lila then offers to give him extra classes every day for 30 minutes, and he is happy about it.
02:47He then hands his assignment.
02:49That evening Lila is in a bar with Andrew, and they are having a wonderful time.
02:54Somewhere still in the same bar is Jason watching all of her moves.
02:58She gets tired drunk, Andrew gets her a taxi and she heads home, though he expected more from her.
03:04The next day during lunch time, she sees Jason sneaking out of the school premises, and he did not attend
03:10her class.
03:11She was mad for not attending her class, and he promised that he won't do it again.
03:16He begged her not to tell anyone about it, since it would cause him serious trouble and she promised, that
03:22she won't because it won't help anyone.
03:24In this due process he held her hand in a romantic way, and she pushed him away, claiming that he
03:29was just teasing her.
03:31That evening it is raining outside, and she is talking to her mom, and then Jason appears on her door,
03:37beaten up badly, she cuts off her mom and attends to him.
03:40She then wants to know what happened to him, but he won't tell anything, he instead gets mad.
03:46And as he is leaving she stops him and offers him a ride.
03:49On the way to home, he tells her to stop somewhere with a beautiful view, and attempts to seduce her
03:54with a kiss.
03:55She resists gets back in the car and drives him home.
03:59After they have reached, she told him that between teacher and student, this won't be happen again.
04:04Later he gets out of the car and upset.
04:07The next day at school, they all ignore each other.
04:10One day Jason's mom goes through his book, as she is cleaning and gets to realize, that his son's grades
04:16are seriously improving.
04:17She gets to him, as he is going through Lila's social media pics on his phone, and asks him how
04:23he is doing it, and he told her, it is because of the new teacher at school.
04:27She gets curious and at the same time happy, because her son had never performed like that before.
04:33After some time Lila and Andrew make out again at the same bar, but he asks too many questions about
04:39her previous life.
04:40Which she doesn't want to talk about, because it makes her uncomfortable.
04:44Still Jason is in the same bar that night, and as she goes to the toilet, he follows her and
04:49when she gets out of the toilet, she runs into Jason.
04:52Some chemistry happens between the two, and she manages to fight it back at the table with Andrew.
04:58He has ordered more drinks but she is distracted, she gets an excuse concerning her mom, and leaves.
05:05Sean happens to be at the same bar so she joins Andrew instead.
05:08At Lila's home, Jason knocks down the door, she knows that it is a bad idea, but still lets he
05:15get inside and both of them have a passionate night.
05:17The next day, at school Lila told Jason, whatever happened between them, everything over now.
05:24We should maintain a good normal friendship.
05:27Jason agreed to her, and he says that he first give her a gift, and then things can go back
05:31to normal.
05:32So later he requested her to close her eyes and put a necklace around her neck, where she was very
05:38happy.
05:38That evening she talks to her mom, about how she has met someone younger.
05:43The mother is happy for her, what she does not tell her is that he is her student.
05:47The next day Jason hiding down in her car, they happily go somewhere for a picnic.
05:52She talks to him about how she was married before, and how her ex was so violent.
05:58Jason promises never to hurt her and take pics.
06:01Even though she knew that it was a very bad idea, in case someone saw them, but because she is
06:06in love they took the pictures anyway.
06:08One day as Jason's mother was cleaning his room, she went through his phone and saw the pictures he took.
06:14Later when she went to see Jason's new teacher at school, to thank her for her work, she realized that
06:19she was the one in the pictures with her son.
06:22And she got angry, she told her to end, whatever she thinks she has with her son.
06:27Before she leave, the head of school notices something off with Jason's mom and Lila.
06:32Lila said that it was because of the call she had received, but nevertheless she was happy about her son's
06:37grades improving.
06:39When Jason got home that night he ran into a fight with his mother, for what she had done.
06:44He told that he loves her, and asked his mother should forget about the age gap.
06:49Furiously he went out of the house, but somehow his dad was trying to defend him.
06:54Meanwhile, Lila decides to tell her mom about it on the phone, her mom got angry for it, because her
06:59daughter could end up in jail.
07:01Jason then come to see her, but she refused to see him, then run into a fight and she asks
07:07him to get out of her house.
07:08A while later, as she is seated in her sofa, with a cup of tea thinking about everything, a note
07:14is pushed below her door, and when sees it, it is Jason apologizing and saying how much he loves her.
07:20So she opens the door for him, he gave her flowers, and both of them hug each other.
07:25Jason suggests that they leave town together, and she is thinking about the whole thing.
07:30Later as she drives to school, at school Jason meets up with her in the compound, asking her if she
07:36has thought about it.
07:37Here Andrew is somewhere watching them, and he sees the way Jason holds Lila's hand.
07:42He gets jealous, because he has been defeated by a student over Lila.
07:46That evening Lila is in the classroom alone, when Andrew decides to assault her, Jason finds her in bad condition
07:53at her place, and she tells him everything that happened at school.
07:56The next day at school Jason is still angry about what Andrew did to Lila, and so he picks up
08:01a fight with him.
08:03The police arrest him, and Lila feels guilty, as they take him away at the police station.
08:08Jason's mom gets him out of the police, as Lila was waiting outside, and she wants to talk to him,
08:14but his mom won't let her.
08:16Jason mom told Lila to leave her son alone, and go back where you come from.
08:20She is like, I just want to know how he is doing, he doesn't attend the next classes, and this
08:26makes Lila to feel more guilty.
08:28So she calls Andrew to meet with him, she tells him not to press charges against Jason, or else she
08:34will also drag him down with her, for the assault he made to her.
08:37She also ordered him to resign from the school which he had to do, because he was left with no
08:42choice.
08:43Later Jason is allowed back to school, and Lila decides to leave town without Jason, which left him in tears.
08:49And the movie ends here.
