Some childhood mishaps call for more patience than panic.

In Ridgeville, South Carolina, a small boy sits with his lower leg caught in the frame of a bicycle as a rescue worker kneels beside him and works the bike free.

The filmer, Hannah, told WooGlobe, “I ran to my mother-in-law's house, only to get a phone call saying my son’s leg was stuck in a bike. I wasn’t sure what I was going to find when I arrived, but that was it. We tried everything to get his leg out, but he wouldn’t allow anyone to touch him. Not wanting to cause him any pain, we called 911, and they decided to use the jaws of life. Afterwards, he was completely fine and even got back on another bike and rode again.”

It’s a brief reminder that the safest outcome often comes down to a measured approach.

The moment ends with the situation resolved and the child out of danger.
