00:41Heba miyolua, hallelujah
08:19Our hearts are filled with gratitude unto you for that which you have done for us, not
08:27only in giving, but in preserving Dakin S.S. Usman on the surface of the earth for eight
08:35solid decades. We know that this is altogether your doing in our eyes, it is marvelous. We
08:42return to you all glory, honor, and praise. Accept our gratitude's everlasting God in
08:48the mighty name of our Lord Jesus. That is the reason why we have gathered. We have
08:53gathered Lord to come and acknowledge you, gathered to come and give you glory and praise,
08:59gathered to come and say that you have done so well and so much. Lord, our time together
09:04we commend and commit to you. We pray that Lord you will lead us in all our affairs. Every
09:11moment we are passing here, please glorify your name. We pray that Lord the people that
09:17are anchoring this program, you will give them inspiration. And all things will be done in
09:24line with your delight. And at the end, your name alone shall be glorified. Lord, we trust
09:29that as a result of these gratitudes that we are bringing before you, you will yet add
09:35much more mercies and blessing, even unto the family of Dakin Usman, and your name alone
09:42continually shall be glorified. Lord, we say thank you because this we trust you will do,
09:46and forever we will worship you. In Jesus' precious name, we pray.
09:54Let's give Daddy a round of applause. Somebody, you can do better.
09:59So I noticed something the other time.

10:25I want to test something today. You cannot come to a party that is one o'clock and you
10:32go home empty-handed. We have to make sure that you are engaged too. So how do we do
10:37that? While I was coming, I have places like Leki, I have places like Tollgate, but I was

11:35So now, I need somebody on this side A to give me a place in the Lurie that starts with
11:39letter A. God bless you. Now, side B. A place in the Lurie that starts with side B. With
11:49side B. Correct. Side C. Give me a second B. Come on.

21:52Thank you so much, Evangelista Detail.
21:54God bless you.
21:55Please, let's give a round of applause for that.
21:58To please stand for recognition.
22:06God bless you all.
22:08You may have your seats.
22:12Going further,
22:15many of us may not know what clubs this is.
22:18It's all about.
22:21These are classmates of SS Usman
22:25in the secondary school.
22:30We entered GSS learning,
22:34but it was not GSS then.
22:36It was Proficial Secondary School, PSS,
22:39in 1962.
22:43And we passed out in 1966.
22:48To the glory of God,
22:52we've been meeting for quite a long time.
22:55And that is why it is possible to gather ourselves
22:58to witness this very good occasion.
23:04On behalf of Club 66,
23:08we are wishing you the very best of luck
23:12in the remaining years ahead.
23:14and we are praying that you will continue to live in good health and sound mind.
23:22Furthermore, I want to say that we've been meeting together for the past 40 years.
23:32So, when we started,
23:36SS Usman,
23:38was the chairman.
23:40So, when they are talking this afternoon that
23:44he had always been chairman here and there.
23:47So, I'm not surprised, because he has that quality of leadership.
23:57After about 20 years of meeting, by then we were meeting in various homes.
24:07After about 20 years, he was transferred from Milani.
24:12Then we suspended for some time, and when he came back, we resumed.
24:22And we still appointed him the chairman, because we cherish the leadership.
24:32Going forward, I want to say that we often call him SS or...
24:46Okay, to many of us here, some of us, we just call him Sam.
24:52And as a matter of fact, I prefer calling him Sam.
24:57There are some others who will call him Messers, even though he's not a sickler.
25:04You can see how heavy and strong he is.
25:08And I don't think I've ever come across any sickler who is as strong and heavy as he is.
25:15Not to talk of living up to 80.
25:21Sam, please, when the senior brother is addressing you, you pay attention.
25:32For the children, there are certain things you may not know about him.
25:38While we were in school, in the secondary school, he was very sportish.
25:44He was playing table tennis, hockey, basketball.
25:50In football, he was not good.
25:55So I don't think he can play any game right now.
25:59So we are praying, as people have been praying, that you continue to live strong and healthy.
26:09By the time you are celebrating 90, 100, we will all be around to celebrate with you.
26:15And I want to see this opportunity, on behalf of the club, to salute Iyabeji.
26:26For all you have been doing to make him live healthy.
26:31God will take care of you too.
26:34And you all live long.
26:36Then I want to appreciate the children.
26:41That you have taken time, you have spent a lot in honoring your father.
26:49Your own children will honor you more than this.
26:53In Jesus name.
26:54Amen.
26:55You will all live long.
26:57And by the grace of God, your children will be great in life too.
27:03So thank you.
27:05So thank you.
27:05And God bless.
27:08Amen.
27:12Our daddy, the king SS Usman.
27:21Today, we celebrate you on this very, very remarkable milestone in your life.
27:34We are glad to be part of this memorable occasion.
27:41And we thank God.
27:43The entire membership of Okei Kaba, Yola Road.
28:04We say, with all sincerity of our heart and gratitude that you are a very, very dedicated man.
28:17A man with great integrity.
28:22A man with so much of selflessness in all ways of his life.
28:36Your dedication to duty as a leader.
28:41Like people have said that Baba has always been a leader wherever he is.
28:46Yes.
28:47Even in this neighborhood association, he remained the chairman from inception up to now.
28:54Baba.
28:55And it has been very difficult to even see how we can have a replacement.
29:02Baba, as you see him, is like Yoruba would say, the one who is in leadership is like Oriata.
29:12That's who he doesn't get angry at all.
29:16He's ready to bend, yet he's a very, very charismatic leader who does not allow anything that we smear.
29:38Both himself, both himself and the group that he leads.
29:42He won't allow anything that will bring a very bad coloration to their ways and to their life and to
29:54what they do.
29:56So, he's a very dedicated person.
29:58He's a man that all of us, we respect, we regard, and he commands the loyalty of everybody.
30:09We see him as one who's a symbol of discipline, symbol of strength, and of selfless service.
30:20So, he loved me as one who's what his rifleer.
30:20So, first I'm going to pay that from him.
