00:00will not matter, Egypt Guinness underway at the Mohammed Sixth Academy. This
00:08tournament has been hosted, the Festival of Football they've called it here in
00:13Rabat. The opening match for Morocco was played at the Stade Moulay-Hassan as
00:22well, the semi-finals and final. Long looping ball, that's a confidence boosting
00:32catch to start the match. It's a lovely ball back inside, really good exchange and
00:42now Soliman wants to make a shooting angle but he plays it off, so
00:49unfortunate. Youssef Otman, El Saeed just couldn't keep it close enough to get a
00:57shot away. Rabat plucks it out of the sky beautifully and then the first
01:02eyeball is a good one, and the finish is quality.
01:09Magic from Morocco and they take the lead in the battle of the North African
01:17Giants. The home crowd certainly enjoyed that. What a touch this is from Chelsea's
01:31Rabat and then first time releases Mustache and after scoring the equaliser against
01:38Ethiopia on match day two. He struck the opener in the group's final match.
01:48Early on Morocco heading for top of Group A and a place at the under 17 World Cup.
01:58And now Morocco on the break, Rabat wants the switch, it's held on for, it's now released.
02:06And here's the young man they've all come to see, it's the target that's straight at Amir.
02:14Being second best Egypt, only trailed by one.
02:19Youssef swings it into a great area, but just when the ball was there and a free header quite readjust.
02:28In the end I think it's come off his shoulder potentially.
02:34Well he does head it but easily clearing the pulse.
02:39There's a white shirt behind him and now Egypt are in.
02:42What an opportunity the other end, Solomon!
02:46What a recovery challenge.
02:50And the big moment has come and gone for the Faroes.
02:57Well what a ball this is and from the halfway line he won the foot race.
03:03And in the end what a recovery challenge it is.
03:08Not giving up on it.
03:11And Amamul saving the day.
03:16Just when it looked to be his moment, Mohamed Solomon.
03:23And remains.
03:26Just over five minutes before the halftime break.
03:34Lovely touch and turn but that's an even better challenge although the referee hasn't agreed.
03:39He made up such great yardage there to put the challenge in.
03:45Looks have won the ball cleanly.
03:50Trying to take the sting out of things as Moustache blocks it.
03:53And the ball's played over the top.
03:54What a chance for two and it's taking with aplomb.
04:00Well Mohamed Moustache and Imran Talai were their ones to turn a 1-0 scoreline into a 2-1 victory
04:10over Ethiopia.
04:11And the two have both struck here in the first half as Morocco lead Egypt by two goals to nil.
04:22What a huge goal that could prove to be.
04:27Morocco assured of top spot in Group A at this early stage.
04:31But his moustache blocking the ball back to El Aoud.
04:35The captain lifted it over.
04:37And Talai who stepped into the starting 11 after being a match-winning substitute on match day two.
04:45He doesn't want to lose his starting jersey.
04:50Cool as you like to slot home past Usain.
04:56And Morocco in control.
05:01The under-17 AFCON for Egypt.
05:03The half-time whistle signs.
05:08It's been competitive.
05:10But Morocco have had the edge.
05:13And their goal scorers from match day two have struck again.
05:17But they didn't wait until the second half.
05:21Rabaj slipping through Moustache with a wonderful 1-2 touching.
05:27And then Talai released by El Aoud after a good layoff from Moustache.
05:35And the young pharaohs are a cry to take their time.
05:41Morocco look in a rush to get forward.
05:46Morocco leading by two goals to nil.
05:54Morocco leading Egypt.
05:58Need the result in the other match to go their way.
06:05So the two changes.
06:09Mohamed Solomon had that great chance blocked off
06:14when he was sent through from the halfway line.
06:17Number nine's head off as well as number 13 Othman El Saeed.
06:25Well this is an opportunity right on as we face off against Cameroon on the 24th of May.
06:32An 8 p.m. kickoff local time.
06:37As a wonderful over a kick out of nowhere has brought Egypt back into the match.
06:44Outrage outrageous.
06:52Well what a moment for Ziad Sudi Omar.
06:56The young pharaohs with this looping cross seem to be set for the defence but
07:03a bicycle kick driving Egypt to half the defence and produce a firecracker at the start of the second half.
07:23To try and rediscover their best for the first half but Egypt suddenly with their tails up.
07:30Lovely the reverse and the ball played across.
07:32Oh it would have been a tap in.
07:34El Mash with a vital touch.
07:36Otherwise that was two all.
07:40Is brought into action but Morocco had a challenge that went nowhere in the first half for a potential penalty.
07:49Now Egypt full.
07:52Well first off no offside.
07:57So that's cleared up that quickly enough.
08:12This is the ball across.
08:16The mission is.
08:21After the on-field review there was no foul permitted by the defender.
08:26They wanted to make sure they gave it enough of a look but it didn't seem as if there was
08:32much in the way of a foul.
08:35Long way back though but they're trying their best.
08:38Wonderful skills.
08:39The break of the ball.
08:42Morocco eventually get enough of a blocking.
08:47Night and day from Egypt's performance in the first half.
08:55Superb run and skill from Omar and then it was taken over by Saeed.
09:02There's an issue but what Egypt wants is a penalty and they're going to risk
09:08the last of their challenges on this.
09:12Lovely triangle here.
09:17Ball then returned here when it came out.
09:20This was just wonderful wing skill in play.
09:24Is there a foul here?
09:32After the on-field review there was no foul committed by the defender.
09:37Once again Egypt have tried and failed.
09:41They are now out of challenges.
09:49But an equaliser could put top spot back into question.
09:54Oh Elmasi's lost it and then he's found it like a gift from the heavens.
10:02That not gone in.
10:05The goalkeeper didn't know where it was.
10:09But Zimbi was the first to make contact.
10:13And that saved the day as it just missed the head.
10:18A hurt to their pride but nothing much more.
10:21There is the full-time whistle.
10:24Well Egypt are waiting for the full-time result in Ethiopia.
10:27But one thing is clear, Morocco have won again and they have topped Group A.
10:34But how they had to fight to hold on to the 2-0 lead they'd established in the first half.
10:42Mustache and Talai again netting this time in the first half.
10:48But what an introduction from Zaid Soudi Omar.
10:53An overhead kick to beat Elmasi straight after the halftime break.
11:00But in the end despite all the pressure they couldn't hit back.
11:05It's ended here.
11:06Morocco 2, Egypt 1 as things stand.
11:09Both are qualifying for the quarter-finals but we're waiting.
11:12And we'll see you next week.
