Shai Gilgeous-Alexander & Mark Daigneault talk about facing Victor Wembanyama after OKC's Game 1 loss to Spurs
Transcript
00:00Is there like a feeling out process or like an adjustment period against a shot blocker like that?
00:07Yeah, you just got to be aggressive.
00:08Also, just be smart, I think, more than anything.
00:14He, yes, obviously is very big at the rim.
00:18But we still found cracks in that at times.
00:20We just got to be willing to work possessions and make sure we get the best shot each time down.
00:25And just be patient with that.
00:27You know, he's a great player with high impact, obviously.
00:30And when you play against those players, it's kind of an acquired thing.
00:34You know, you like learn it as you go.
00:37We've gone through that with other great players where you develop a feel.
00:41You know, you could talk about it as much as you want, but you got to develop a feel for
00:44it.
00:44I thought we played him in such a condensed period of time.
00:47We actually caught a little bit of a groove as we went earlier in the season.
00:52We've got to do that again.
00:53Obviously, we have to get better from this game, but he's a great player, obviously.
00:57And then we'll be back and we'll talk about it.
