A fraud case involving Shivananda, accused of cheating approximately 35,000 investors out of nearly 400 crore rupees. Shivananda, originally from Belagavi, was also involved in film production, having produced the 2023 film 'Champion' at Abhiman Studios and reportedly paid actress Sunny Leone a fee of one crore rupees. A complaint has been filed with the police, and a CID case was registered previously. Last week, district administration conducted a raid on the operation. Shivananda has now been taken into CID custody in Belagavi for questioning, with investigations ongoing into the large-scale investment fraud scheme.
