00:14by the Israeli occupying forces and am now being held illegally in an Israeli prison.
00:21I am so proud to be taking part in this flotilla. It is the largest to date. Thousands of people
00:28all over the world, citizens like you and me, have volunteered their services to help with this
00:34flotilla. This is the largest one to date and now we sail for Gaza to open a humanitarian pathway
00:40to bring much needed aid and medical supply to the people of Gaza.
00:46As you know, the Israeli Zionist regime has opposed a siege on Gaza since 2007. For over 75 years,
00:56they have persecuted and tortured the people of Gaza. Millions and millions of people have been
01:03displaced. Some still hold the key to their farmstead, which now lies poignantly under tons of rubble.
01:12I feel utterly compelled as a mother, a doctor and as a human being to help in this flotilla.
01:20I ask you all to support the call to immediately free my comrades in prison.
01:27I wish to appeal to the Irish government to enact the occupied territories bill without fail.
01:35The cause of Palestine is the moral compass of our time. It is what makes us human. Their humanity is
01:44our humanity. The Palestinians will save our humanity. I ask the Irish government to follow the will of
01:52the Irish people to support the people of Palestine to establish an independent, sovereign, independent
02:00state. It is the least we can do for our brothers and sisters and for ourselves. Thank you.
