00:11How are you doing?
00:16What's your name?
00:17Dommie Hudson.
00:18Dommie Hudson.
00:19Hudson.
00:20Scott.
00:21You met my wife earlier.
00:22Oh, okay.
00:47You know, I'm a three-time Trump voter.
00:50I believed in 2024 that we had a coalition that was going to bring a lot of change into
00:58government.
00:58I was a real believer, very excited about that.
01:02I've been very disappointed.
01:03I have TDS, Trump Disappointment Syndrome.
01:07And watching how he's turned on the representative that I feel has stood up for my values the
01:14most has been very, very upsetting.
01:17I've been very, very unhappy with that.
01:20Although, at the same time, it's not surprising.
01:22There's a rancor of his type of politics to where it's a bully pulpit.
01:28Everybody knows Trump's kind of a bully and bullies his way around.
01:31And that works sometimes and it does in others.
01:33In this situation, he's trying to bully the wrong guy.
01:36Okay.
01:36Bye-bye.
01:40Okay.
02:04Bye-bye.
02:05Bye-bye.
02:07Bye-bye.
02:08Bye-bye.
02:09Bye-bye.
02:09And, you know, the fact that Pete Exit has taken the time away from his duties to come
02:15and try to impact an election in our district that is solid Republican, it really reeks of corruption.
02:21It reeks of a bigger picture that's well beyond our district.
02:26That's well beyond this one particular seat.
02:27That's well beyond this race.
02:29It's something that is, to me, about the difference between who controls our government,
02:33whether it's lobbyists, foreign money, and those things, or the people that live there.
02:39And that's, to me, the heart of the issue.
03:25Yeah, I think we need to normalize disagreement in this race.
03:28You know, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert said it as well, that she supports Thomas Massey,
03:33and it's her friend, and Donald Trump, and that's her friend as well.
03:37And we need to normalize disagreement within politics.
03:39I don't want a political party where you have to toe the line and agree 100% of the time
03:43on everything.
03:43It's not possible.
03:44You're not going to have much of a party left if that's our standard.
04:10And having conversations with him, and seeing him in his element, and having him tell us about his fruit orchard,
04:16and his cats,
04:16and his cattle, it really humanizes him to a level that I think unfortunately gets lost in all this political
04:21noise.
04:22And I'm hoping that in time, or even going forward, people can learn more about Congressman Massey,
04:29and who he is and what he stands for.
