00:00Boi-yo-yo-yo-yo-ing!
00:03Give me some!
00:05You know what? This time, I'm gonna leave you hanging.
00:10Will Ferrell gets a major high-five for his six-time hosting SNL.
00:14He closed out the season 51 finale on May 16th by playing Jeffrey Epstein,
00:20back from the dead, to haunt President Trump.
00:23Surprisingly, he did not reprise his role as another president, Dubya.
00:27If you were a 90s kid, you remember Will perfectly played George W. Bush
00:31during his seven-season run on the show from 1995 to 2002.
00:36It's been a long time since the comedy superstar last hosted SNL, way back in November 2019.
00:42So viewers were understandably a little fooled when this happened.
00:46You're not the host I am. You're Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
00:51No, shut up! Shut up!
00:54Yep, that's Will Ferrell's less famous celebrity doppelganger, Chad Smith,
00:59the drummer from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
01:02The rest of the show is in good hands with the SNL legend.
01:04Well, actually, two SNL legends.
01:06In one of the best sketches of the night, he played a sassy high school theater director.
01:11And he was joined by another superstar, Molly Shannon.
01:15Mike White, please bring her White Lotus character back.
01:18Will and Molly go way back, playing countless memorable characters.
01:22Dog show!
01:23Molly spoke at Will's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in 2015.
01:26A few years later, they played Cord and Tish on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
01:31However, this time around, there may not be any new instant classic characters that Will Ferrell is known for dishing
01:38out.
01:38A surgeon who accidentally cut off a man's penis?
01:41Um, yeah, no, not so much.
01:44Will was also a tiny bit upstaged by the musical guest, Paul McCartney.
01:49The legendary Beatle did a surprise third performance.
01:52During the cast's goodbyes, Paul hopped back on stage for an encore coming up from his 1980 album, McCartney II.
02:00Paul is longtime friends with SNL creator Lorne Michaels.
02:03Their friendship goes back decades.
02:05And they recently chumped it up at the star-studded SNL 50.
02:08In fact, rumors swirled that having Paul McCartney for the finale was a sign that Lorne might be retiring.
02:16So far, that hasn't happened.
02:18He's 81.
02:19Paul's 83.
02:20Good luck telling either of these guys to stop doing what they love.
02:24But what did you think?
02:25Will Lorne quietly pass the torch to say Tina Fey?
02:29And what did you think of season 51 overall?
02:31Who's getting cut?
02:32Let us know in the comments.
02:38bye!
