00:00The high vamp flats have been quietly replacing the traditional ballet flat. I've seen them on
00:04runways, I've seen them on celebrities, but here's how to make them your own. Hi, I'm Lauren Marie
00:10Claire's fashion editor. Welcome to Put Together, where we're showing you how to style the latest
00:14trends. The difference between high vamp flats and traditional ballet flats is that with these high
00:18vamps, the vamp is literally higher on your foot. So it sort of makes the shoe feel a little bit
00:24more vintage inspired. First look, I decided to style these high vamp flats from Margo. I love
00:29the fact that they're so pointed. The sharp silhouette just makes the outfit feel a little
00:33bit more polished. And then I pair them with these white jeans from DL 1961. Yes, you can wear white
00:40all year round. And I decided to style it for spring. So I cinched the look with this Aritzia belt.
00:47And because this is a spring outfit, I wanted to add a layer into the mix too. So Marie Claire
00:52editors
00:52cannot stop talking about the Cezanne trench coat. So I had to see what the hype was all about. And
00:58I
00:58love it. This is for my corporate girlies out there looking for an outfit tour to work. I got
01:03you. Start off with these flats from Munster Gabrielle. These are also high vamp flats, but they're
01:09interesting because they have sort of like a Mary Jane silhouette. And then I decided to throw
01:14these trousers into the mix from Theory. I love how they kind of like puddle around the ankle a little
01:19bit. It kind of just gives this outfit like a fun feel. I have this J.Crew top. It's like
01:24a slight pop of
01:25color and it's nothing too crazy. So for this last look, I wanted to do something that was a little
01:29bit more dressy. I started off with these high vamp flats from Marion Park. And then to complete the
01:34look, I grabbed this lace trimmed dress out of my closet. I paired it with this Aritzia blazer and
01:40then a Quiana scrunchie bag, which is fun because of the texture and it just makes the outfit pop a
01:47little
01:47bit more.
