HOLIDAYMAKERS HEAR MYSTERIOUS MEOWS BEFORE FINDING KITTEN TRAPPED IN ROOF DRAINPIPE WITH VID By Soban Aslam Watch as holidaymakers in Bali rescue a crying kitten trapped inside a drainpipe hidden behind their villa roof. Lena Qaddoumi captured the emotional rescue during a stay in Bali, Indonesia. The video begins with desperate meowing noises echoing through the villa bathroom area as the group searches for the unseen animal. Despite repeatedly checking the roof and surrounding area, they are unable to locate the source of the cries. Villa management is eventually called in to help, and together they discover the kitten trapped inside a narrow drainpipe leading to the roof. After carefully rescuing the frightened animal, the group nurses the kitten back to health during the remainder of their holiday. Unable to bring the cat home themselves, one of the villa staff members later decides to adopt the kitten. The clip was shared online and Lena said: "I was on holiday in bali, and at our villa we heard a cat crying on the roof behind the bathroom, we tried to look for it but were not able to find anything, it wouldn’t stop and we were desperate to find it."
