00:00My experience in this theatre has been phenomenal because I'm acting with a lot of cast from
00:05all over the world. I have my friends from Indonesia joining me, I have my friends from
00:09Malaysia joining me as well, and also all of the lecturers from Indonesia, Ms. Aput and Ms.
00:15Okay, there's been a wonderful guide to me in becoming an actor and how do I bring out my
00:21character, not just as a person, but also how do I leave that character myself and to bring it out
00:28on stage. And, you know, when I look at the message, I remember the day one when the message was
00:34in the
00:35group, oh, kami sedang mencari pelakun untuk doroh jonggang. And I was like, oh, you know what,
00:41I want to join this because it's something new. It's something that I've never worked before
00:45in my many past experiences of acting. And I thought, okay, why not? Let's just go for it.
00:50Let's just fry our new experience in this Indonesian tale. And so this is the story, like, from saying
00:57yes to an opportunity. And this is where I am here today. I'm going to be acting soon.
01:03And my challenges for this project is my time management, because I'm from the faculty of
01:10medicine and, you know, stereotype that, you know, medicine students study all the time. And of course,
01:14yes, there's a lot of subjects that we need to catch up on. And, you know, time management is a
01:22little bit of a problem because I need to now manage, like, okay, after practices is the amount
01:26of time I need to study, or this is the time that I need to do for project, my own
01:29time, etc. But,
01:31you know, when you love to do something, you don't really see it as a chore. I really enjoyed this
01:36entire project. You know, the real soul is like, you know, I just want to come. I wake up, I
01:40go to
01:40class the next day I'm here, you know, in this theatre. And for my final question, which is my
01:49harapan, my hopes for the future is that I can able to, you know, maybe visit Indonesia and act there
01:55as well, you know, I can able to bring this story out to the public and also, you know, maybe
02:01to get
02:01other opportunities in Malaysia where I can bring the story of Roro Jong Rang and Bandung Bodoh. So how
02:06they both are mingled with each other, how they both have their own challenges to the Malaysian
02:12riot.
