00:44This fertilizer contains trace copper. Oh no! Of 0.002%. I'm a bit concerned because I have invertebrates in this
01:02fish tank. You know, I've got the shrimps and I've got me like snails and they are, how would you
01:13put it?
01:15Copper is toxic to invertebrates. So I've been reading up on it. It said two mils a day and I'm
01:25not doing that. So I'm just going to sting it with two mils.

06:00two weeks later finally here we are the second week of the trial the 9th of september 2021
06:07now as you can see here on our first fish tank in the dining room you can see that there
06:16is
06:16new growth on my anabias plants i have not seen this in quite a long time and the plants look
06:23more green although i can say that the algae are having a good time as well um the um inverts
06:35have not been affected snails are thriving they have not been affected and the shrimps are doing
06:47well um i'm quite satisfied i may have to increase the dose just to try out and see if there's

06:59that can be um you know the plants may need more minerals and they might be able to grow even

07:09moving on to the second fish tank uh this one is in the living room it's a smaller fish tank
07:15it's only
07:15three feet in length and i've never had any problems with this one with regards to the plants it's always
07:22been lush but look at that you see the roots coming out and i have not seen that in a
07:28very long time
07:29it's a very good sign it appears that this fertilizer is working very well the false kabomba are green
07:41the shrimps are okay the fish are fine the snails are thriving i really love snails and yeah the runners
07:51on this plant is going on well so i'm quite happy with the result here so i may have to
08:00keep the dose
08:00um i may have to increase the uh water change we don't want a build up of copper which would
08:10harm the
08:11invertebrates or the fish so um there they're all green the water wisteria are doing okay
08:23and the hygorophylla plants they are doing you know i'm quite i'm really really impressed with the result
08:31here so um now we're going on to the third fish tank uh it's not the best look in here
08:40i may have to
08:42increase the dose this is a four feet fish tank uh never mind this these ones because i just added
08:50them
08:50so the original ones would be the um the cryptochorean the brown ones these ones uh the they seem to
09:03have
09:03more leaves now the algae are quite happy i can see that um but uh so are the snails and
09:12that's a good sign
09:13i'm always worrying about them um although there has been a casualty this is my snail uh breeding fish tank

09:33now what i have here i'll just show you this one in my hand is an elephant a baby elephant

10:06i have managed to save five of them i i had 10 but five of them perished because of the
10:14fertilizer they
10:16seem to be very uh sensitive to copper considering considering it's only not 0.002 they were in this
10:26fish tank you'll probably notice that the plants look um they're all over the place i had tried to save
10:35what i could um i only managed to save five elephant or rabbit snails they call them so i may
10:45have to look
10:45for another fish tank to breed them on their own i tried to see if they they would take the
10:54bait you'll
10:55probably see carrots there but unfortunately there's no survivors at all apart from the five so that's one
11:08take from this experiment i know i get um negative comments about my fish tanks out there they look dirty
11:19and things like that but you know what it's just an experiment and um it's my hobby so um and
11:27i'm just
