Some scenes change in an instant, turning an ordinary pause into something hard to ignore.
From a roadside vantage point in Bishop Auckland, County Durham, the camera frames a large structure as flames burn intensely and thick smoke pours upward in dense, dark clouds.
"Sitting in the car eating McDonald’s, I noticed smoke across from me. I called the fire brigade, who said they were already on the scene. Then I started taking videos and photos, fascinated by the way the smoke swirled like a tornado," the filmer, Sharina, told WooGlobe.
The smoke rises above the roofline and continues to billow as the fire appears to spread across the building.
With the scale of the smoke visible from a distance, the moment reads less like a single flare-up and more like a fast-moving incident.
The shot holds steady on the widening plume as the scene fills the skyline. WooGlobe Ref : WGA953203 For licensing and to use this video, please email licensing@wooglobe.com
