00:15who founded the Islamic movement in Nigeria after visiting Iran in the 1980s
00:20and converting to Shi'ism.
00:22His goal, to use his teaching, particularly at Al-Mustafa University,
00:26which is linked to the Revolutionary Guard's Quds Force,
00:29to spread the ideology of the Iranian terrorist regime.
00:32By 2025, Al-Mustafa University had a presence in at least 17 African countries,
00:38from Senegal to Tanzania and South Africa.
00:41Iran also uses media outlets like Ahosa TV to spread its message.
00:45Iran also uses Africa as a weapons hub.
00:47In Sudan, to smuggle arms to Hamas in Gaza and Eritrea,
00:52which serves the Revolutionary Guard's naval forces for intelligence
00:55and logistical support for operations in Yemen.
00:58To expand its influence, Tehran also leverages the Lebanese-Shia diaspora
01:02and the Hezbollah network, notably with the Polisario,
01:05a movement backed by Algeria that challenges Morocco's claims over the Sahara.
01:10Hezbollah is also involved in drug trafficking,
01:12with approximately 30% of cocaine profits passing through Africa to Western countries,
01:18as well as in arms trafficking,
01:20a way for the Iranian terrorist regime to expand its activities
01:24beyond the Middle East, Europe or Latin America.
