00:00Hey guys, Margaret Rodriguez here. We got Wendy behind the camera.
00:03Yo.
00:03Yep, it is free comic book day, 2026.
00:06We're going to start off with Third Eye Comics.
00:08We're going to try to check out a couple hundred places,
00:09because you guys have already seen Third Eye Comics like a thousand times by now on our channel.
00:13We're going to try to hit some new spots, but it depends on, you know, the transportation, the parking and
00:17all that.
00:17We'll see.
00:18Hopefully we're going to go to some new places this time around.
00:20Yeah, we're paying these kids the way through college.
00:23Free comic book day.
00:24I think we're not going to be the first 10.
00:26First 10 in, get a free 18-year shirt, a Doctor Doom patch.
00:30And help with goodies.
00:31Aw, man.
00:32Well, you never know. We'll see.
00:34And we just saw Spider-Man in there.
00:36So, let's see.
00:37Which is interesting, because we used to see Spider-Man in Big Wookiee Comics.
00:40Now, Spider-Man's here, too.
00:41So, let's check it out.
00:42Let's go.
00:42Yep.
00:45Lily, did you get a pizza?
00:47Cheers.
00:48I want a pizza and taco.
00:50Dude, I went to our team.
00:51I saw that, and I was like, I really got to do this.
00:54Look, my, like, they got a pizza and taco one.
00:57So, like, don't you want me on?
00:58And, uh, I'm getting this one.
01:12I'm sorry.
01:13I'll just go through here real quick.
01:15No, I'm playing with you.
01:16We're going to get married.
01:18We're going to have, like, a villa.
01:20Can I just sign your life in the future?
01:23I love a brunette party.
01:26I'm not playing.
01:27What the?
01:30Treasure Man?
01:31I love two pictures so much.
01:33I don't know what that is.
01:34All right, guys.
01:35So, Facebook's, like, super, super busy and everything.
01:37Long lines and everything.
01:38And we got, of course, the free comics, but also, like, our big, you know, the usual pull
01:42box.
01:42And we also got the free comic book main thing that we'll be trying to do.
01:45If you remember from last year's video, where we go, like, every Saturday for a different
01:49theme.
01:50So, we'll go into that.
01:51And then, at the end, it's usually something special.
01:54Yeah.
01:54Yeah, the free graphic novel at the end.
01:56If you get, if you, if you go every single Saturday.
01:58Yeah, exactly.
01:59So, anyways, guys, like I said before, we've been to Third Eye so many times already in this
02:03channel.
02:03So, let's move on to the next one.
02:04Yeah, and, yeah, in fact, we come here so much, they actually know us by the day.
02:07Yeah, yeah, exactly.
02:08I'm sure we're recording those girls through college by now.
02:10And the other thing is that the one comic book that we're missing that was a Mega Man comic
02:14book that was not in Third Eye, so we're going to keep going to other places to
02:16try to get that one.
02:17Yeah.
02:18So, that was the main one, the Street Fighter one, a gem one that Wendy got, and also the
02:22Mega Man one, so let's check it out.
02:24All right, guys, see you in a bit.
02:26All right, guys, so now we're here at Richmond Comics, and I guess it's HR Block, so I guess
02:32you buy your comics and you get a tax deductible or something.
02:35But also, there's a little thing going on that's not, I don't think it's about the comics,
02:39because all these people need to have different, like, things that may not deserve to be about
02:43comics.
02:44So there's, like, another little event going on here or something, so let's check it out.
02:48But like I said before, this is one of the new places that we haven't been to.
02:51I don't know, when you haven't been to this one yet?
02:53No, I've been meaning to come for the past, maybe three or four years, since I'm just
02:57finally here now.
02:58All right.
02:58Well, let's check it out.
03:00All right.
03:01See you guys.
03:02Guys, one thing we weren't expecting was a super long line, and I guess from what it
03:06looks like from the outside, it looks like it's a very big store inside, too.
03:08And one thing that Wendy got so far, what's the character name again?
03:13Kuromi.
03:13Yep, we got Kuromi from Sanrio, right?
03:16Not necessarily Hello Kitty, but Sanrio.
03:18Yeah, and my melody and all that stuff, so.
03:21Yeah.
03:22Yeah, so we're waiting in line, but we got some goodies.
03:24All these things are other, kind of like, arts and crafts and independent comics and
03:27independent stuff like that, so, you know, it's all cool and everything.
03:31But, yeah, we're still in line.
03:33We'll see what's going on.
03:35All right, we're inside Richmond Comics.
03:38Oh, boy, is this place big.
03:43Wow.
03:47Ooh.
03:49I can't see it till I was a Star Trek poster.
03:54Oh, wow.
03:59That's something I would have liked.
04:02I'm sure Dad would have, too.
04:04But $4,000?
04:05I don't know about that one.
04:07Wow.
04:08Oh.
04:10Ooh.
04:25There we got stuff over here.
04:32Oh, a maid cafe.
04:36You know what?
04:38I noticed this before I noticed this.
04:44Easy Japanese.
04:57Oh, oh, I know.
04:59Okay, but let's put this guy in.
05:03Oh, yeah.
05:10Oh, cool.
05:12Oh, cool.
05:13A little figure.
05:17Oh, Batman.
05:19Batman Hush.
05:20I don't think people care for Batman Hush so much.
05:25Oh, man.
05:33Oh, man.
05:37Oh, man.
05:38Oh, man.
05:47Oh, man.
06:01Oh, wow, thanks.
06:11Thank you so much.

08:33Oh, my God.
09:16Oh, my God.
09:19Oh, my God.
09:23Oh, my God.
09:31yeah guys taking a quick detour here we're going to bargain books it's not part of the free comic
09:37book dating it's more of a thrift store but there's a comic book section in there and when he's got
09:42some backstory on there so me and my friend um they have a korean restaurant we like that's in
09:48this area so we were driving by and it was like wait this place looks we'd never seen this place
09:54before so we started like three years ago so we stopped off here and we came in and the place
09:59was still kind of new so they hadn't even everything wasn't even organized yet they were
10:04even saying that we still got more shipments of books coming in and we got to put them
10:08on the shelf and get it organized so like i said it's been a few years i remember we found
10:13like a
10:14second edition copy of the of jaws and we got that from our mom yeah she said she lost her
10:19copy
10:20many years ago yeah so and it was a hardback too so yeah so i just wanted to check out
10:26the place and
10:26i also found some comics that we still can't complete because they're so um yeah they're so
10:31rare and rare yeah so yeah so so many years later let's see like how the store is now yeah
10:39now we're taking pictures and asking questions yeah
10:45so yes we're checking out all these uh random books and stories because i don't think we've ever
10:50heard of uh warriors of plasm before and stuff like that and
10:56secret weapons yeah these are all like super indie
11:01other things wait there's ninjax i've heard of ninjax at least
11:07and everything so that's kind of interesting valiant comics
11:13but yeah it's an interesting little what's this this gen 13 bootleg number four
11:21i don't think other gen 13 books here but um but yeah but the rest of the place is like
11:27a
11:27you know regular thrift store with like videos and clothes and stuff like that
11:31got another box down here too the other random things
11:38but yeah this here's pretty super super retro stuff guys
11:43like if you're fans of real real old comics this is where you would go
11:47to see you could find some things
11:54all right guys uh now we're at black doll comics or as wendy says it
11:58black doll comics yep and this is our first time here and you got all these cool statues
12:03all i just noticed this one's based on the batman the dark knight and everything and
12:10you got the batman movie it's just like the adam west one
12:13it is like um there's batman here and like i said i was looking at the fact of the movie
12:18because my dad um told me how he saw the movie and stuff so yeah so yeah it's the first
12:24time
12:25here we're gonna check it out and see what's in there because of course it's still free comic book
12:27day it still continues so you go from shop to shop and see what's in there
12:31okay all right allonzie got a cool iron man poster there but then look all these all these like old
12:38figures and this is batman and stuff like like batman and robin and yeah yeah we don't talk about
12:46oh you don't talk about no band around nope nope and oh we got cat woman from the dark knight
12:52series of you know nolan films and all that we got the juggernaut on here
12:59he's right we don't talk about that yep and uh well now we go more to the star wars section
13:05we got
13:05star wars type characters and things and of course here there's tons of uh
13:12blind boxes well not blind boxes but long boxes full of stuff
13:16they got some street fighter comics though because i am missing some issues
13:21and it's oh oh my god
13:25oh god they got the malibu comics in here
13:30i mean of course i already own them and stuff but but they got the malibu how much are they
13:33oh 25 bucks
13:37that has to be that has to be more yeah i mean so did mine but uh
13:46yeah but remember back then we didn't know about you know the game there was very any lore
13:51and everything
14:00yeah but wow
14:04all right so you found some interesting stuff there wendy
14:06yeah
14:09you found some interesting stuff it looks like
14:11oh
14:14yeah one thing about this door also is that it looks like it opens like only one weekend of every
14:19month
14:19and of course in this case because you know free comic book day so this is the weekend they
14:23chose for this month but that's an interesting detail i believe they open again on the 22nd
14:29of the month
14:34this is official like i guess japanese magazines talking about upcoming manga and stuff
14:43oh these are the characters from from uh senra and kangura
14:47and everything that's interesting
14:52batman lunchbox
14:54where batman lunchbox
14:56right there
14:56oh oh like the real old batman okay
15:00they got all these uh
15:03batman characters
15:05yep vegeta's there
15:08batgirl and oh we got joker looking stylish from the anime series version
15:14mm-hmm
15:15and uh
15:17let's see what else
15:19here
15:19i already have this all right
15:21okay i just had all these other cool characters i don't recognize but there's more manga and stuff
15:25down here too so that's pretty cool
15:26right
15:27and even more comics and more things and funko pops and
15:31and figures new and old
15:33all
15:36yeah
15:41what's that oh that's from noir right
15:43i think it was called noir
15:45yeah
15:50right so we're here at our final stop for the day which is alpha comics
15:53they're mostly to get our pull box i think we got most of the free stuff but we do have
15:57a sidewalk sale here
15:59so that's interesting that's different they never
16:01i don't remember us ever encountering that before
16:04in other years and stuff
16:07anything cool oh we got vampirella there
16:09no yeah you're lucky man that's that's the side of this side
16:13yeah king spawn and
16:18that's a spawn stuff here
16:21i'm not sure wars are
16:22these wars wow god these wars got comics now
16:27they made by oh by idw yeah i didn't know they had those
16:38oh yeah moon girl and devil dinosaur right
16:43that's pretty cool when we get home i want to watch the next one
16:47keep the combo tradition going
16:51all these cool stuff i don't know if ever got these on film before but we got black panther
16:55batgirl deadpool batman superman moon knight's popular he's appearing a lot in like these statues
17:03yeah what'd you find
17:06oh power rangers
17:10oh x-men 97
17:12there we go
17:20now we got uh inu yasha here i think the original original inu yasha
17:28we got all this other cool stuff oh this i don't think i've seen this part before
17:32okay so of course we got uh midoriya here and i get everybody and everything
17:41pretty awesome
17:47all right guys we're back home and everything we went to some other stops here and there and we're
17:51gonna kind of do a little speed run because the video's already been long enough but here's all the
17:54comics so far and we'll just go by real real quick first of all this is the third eye stuff
17:59but this
18:00is stuff that we've got you know um like my regular pull box so we got spiderman i'm sorry
18:04spider gwen ghost spider we got side dimensional rivals we got the new web of venom which is this
18:09weird venom that looks like a spider-man thing so we got to find out who is it because it's
18:13not mary
18:14jane some other character we got the venom comic we got the other venom comic these are part of the
18:19spiral thing the death spiral logan black cat batman and batgirl let me see i think that's okay so now
18:28the actual free comic book based stuff we've got uh master's universe with dungeons and dragons from
18:34third eye we also got gem truly truly outrageous right we got um inanna the name she lost we got
18:41gun
18:42honey we got the macy spider-man with with venom with this queen of black see what's going on okay
18:48we got the street fighter forever one that's what the main ones i was wanting to get sorry guys we
18:54have
18:54so much stuff here yep and we got avengers armageddon and everything and then we went to uh well we
19:02went
19:02to richmond books right richmond comics oh wait that was another one oh bargain books yeah bargain books
19:08and so we got this uh gen 13 uh what do you call it bootleg one it's like a four
19:14-part series i'll get the
19:14other ones but at least i got this one that way it's harder you know because they're old comics might
19:19be
19:19expensive i already got one you know so we went to uh richmond comics and that's where we got the
19:24other one the mega man one that was missing so we got that one we got world of archie and
19:29we got this
19:30british or coming history type book so that's kind of interesting and because that's how we already got
19:34all the free comic books these are the ones we we didn't get earlier then we went to um oh
19:40black dog
19:41comics also known as black dog comics yep and they have a cool thing so they technically did not have
19:47the
19:47free comic book day thing but it did in the way that they got all these like dollar boxes just
19:53get
19:53three comic books free for the dollar boxes so that was kind of cool so and also the other thing
19:58with
19:58this place is that they're only open one weekend out the month but they did or open this month today
20:04because of it being free comic book day yeah so that was kind of cool so i got i found
20:08the original
20:09leonardo ninja turtles uh one-shot book though i think this original uh mirage one not idw because i don't
20:15see
20:15i don't see the viacom logo anywhere so i think this is the original oh yeah it is because it
20:19says
20:201996 on here 1986 yeah so this is an infamous issue where leonardo got ganged up by the foot and
20:26beat up by the shredder and stuff and thrown through the skylight and all that you know and then we've
20:31got um when you got this teen titans raven book and everything has a book that she actually purchased
20:37and for the ones that she got for free she got teen titans uh we got the issues this one
20:43this one and that
20:44one yeah i mean i know what storyline is part of so yeah and i saw this three-part wolverine
20:50story
20:51that has like a death strike and saber tooth and whatever so i got issue uh what 51 52 and
20:5653 so i
20:57got the whole three-part story so it's all i have to be looking at hip comic and stuff and
21:02also with
21:02the titans comics there's a lot of order so i just picked them up anyway so just real quick to
21:07wrap it up
21:07because again speed run these are the ones we got from alpha comics we got a couple of comics here
21:12and
21:12there and also a goodie bag i don't know which is which but we'll find out so just a spring
21:16about
21:16here we've got um oh we got this uh webtoon unscrolled we got school bus graveyard with a random person
21:24just saw us and said that oh super cool check it out you know so okay x-men 97 and
21:30power rangers that
21:31another person was telling wendy that was cool and of the random boohickey let's see what's in here
21:37but anyways uh from the other one we've got um let's see uh superman no spider-man and superman
21:46because they do like like before the dead full thing so it's like uh spider-man superman now
21:49superman spider-man so there we go we got the amazing spider-man next issue that continues that
21:54death spiral thing two greater sacred artifacts and the latest issue of the tmnt based on the 80s cartoon
22:00and then the little here is oh that's uh metal sonic okay right there now there's another little
22:10random doohickey that's how they affect spider-man oh okay so they all see both have little little
22:16spider-mans so there we go guys wraps up for this thing as you can see this is like a
22:21lot of comics
22:21not all of them free unfortunately because you know the time you spent the most money is free comic book
22:26day so uh yeah we'll see what happens next time and also special shout out we got some pictures here
22:30we've got um our very yeah let's take a preview thing our very own drew went to free comic book
22:36day
22:36and bent wookie so we got pictures of him with his comics we got pictures of box boy you guys
22:41remember
22:41box boy from previous videos and also the spider-man that goes to bent wookie and it was kind of
22:46cool
22:46because we saw our own spider-man wasn't the same team it was just like a random cosplayer guy in
22:50spider-man so i got pictures there me with him but josh got to meet the original spider-man that
22:54always goes
22:54to be wookie once a year for a free comic book day so that's kind of cool see you again
22:58so anyways
22:58guys roger signing off here and we got one from behind the camera all right see you guys yep and
23:03see you next time bye
